"Are you even planning to come?" Taehyung growled while seated on the couch. "You're taking forever Nova."

"Just a minute, I'm done... Almost." Nova answered back from her bedroom where she was still engaged in applying some eyeliner. She was almost done, looking absolutely winsome in her white marled button up shirt along with contrasting black jeans.

She was working deftly on her second eye lid when her housemate decided to startle her by barging the her room door open with a loud thud. Her eyes grew wide at the disaster that he caused over her left eyelid. She didn't waste another second in yelling at him while making eye contact through the mirror.

"What the hell is wrong with you!? Look at what did! " she pointed at her ruined eyelid. "Can't you freaking wait for a minute?

"A minute? You've been saying this same shit since past 30 minutes, do you realise?" He went to grab her hand. "You're times up, let's go."

"God wait for a minute, I look like a whole disaster." She tugged her wrist from his grip.

"Can you just shut up and come? You look beautiful already, Okay?" He froze upon the words that he blurted that instant, with Nova slowly turning her face to him.

"I didn't say anything." He lifted his hands infront of him while shaking his head helplessly, denying his own said words.

Nova understood his internal panic and burst out laughing. "Lol that was so unexpected, but yeah I bet you didn't mean what you said."

"Yeah whatever." He rolled his eyes. "I'll pull the car out, be quick." Saying so, he went down to their parking lot.

They met with Jade as they reached the entrance of the carnival and Jungkook joined them in about ten minutes. Jungkook was persistent enough to drag them all to try various rides before hitting the stalls.

"I'm going for a doughnut break, Jade are you coming?" Nova beamed and Jade bounced with equal excitement.

"I don't know what's with these girls and their obsession for food." Taehyung shrugged. "Let's go grab something dude, I'm hungry." He earned a confused look from Jungkook that his friend is surely a weird one. 

"By the way, how did you manage to bring her without using my name?" Jungkook asked while bringing a corn dog to his mouth.

"I have my ways." He smirked. 

"Ways for what?" Jade giggled as they both returned with two different flavoured assortment of doughnuts.

"Wanna have a bite?" Nova asked Jungkook as she sat next to him and he nodded a yes. Tearing a small bit of the dessert, she brought it to his mouth for him to eat and he did, his eyes growing big that instant.

"I don't eat them frequently but this does taste really good." He licked his lips.

"Felt the same." She chuckled. "Some more?" And he nodded frantically.

She tore another piece and he ate it almost immediately and before she could lower her hand, he grabbed it and Nova was puzzled until he lead her hand towards his lips and took her chocolate coated finger into his mouth and sucked it clean.

Nova went still as cheeks turned pink with heat. She felt a weird tingle in her but was unsure of why she felt that. But that warm suction out in the open public made her feel flustered yet she oddly couldn't complain about it.

He let out an awkward chuckle upon noticing Nova's dumbstruck face. "Sorry, the chocolate is too good to give up."

They didn't realise two pairs of eyes staring blankly at them.

The twilight engulfed the skies as sun was beginning to set. With cool gentle breeze sweeping the stress and strain from every person around there, watching the refulgent sunset. Lights of every stall turned on with a flicker and soon the carnival roared with life.

"Let's try some games out there." Jade suggested.

"That's for kids." Taehyung deadpanned while licking his icecream.

"And for whom do you think this is?" She snatched away his sweet treat.

"Fine you can have it. I licked it all over though." He shrugged playfully and she swiftly shoved it back into his hand with a puking action.

"How about the High striker?" Nova chimed. "Jungkook, that thing is meant for you." She pulled him towards the stall that showcased various soft toys, plushies & books as prizes to be given depending on the score of a person's strike.

"Okay, so which one do you want Nova?" While taking a look at the rewards, he asked her.

"I just wanna see you break the highest strike." Her words were topped with a giggle. To which he smiled suggestively and clutched the hammer with his dominant hand. The attender of the stall gulped as his eyes laid on Jungkook's veiny forearms which are now in show for everyone to gawk at when he rolled his sleeves out of a habit.

A lethargic Taehyung dragged himself into the tent to join them along with Jade, just in time to witness Jungkook banging the pad with the hammer, single handedly and the indicator flew up to it's highest possible streak. Followed by Nova's squeal and Jade's loud smack on his back, well that's hiw they cheer for each other. And here Taehyung stood in the corner, licking his ice-cream while watching his friends having fun which doesn't involve him.

Collecting the highest prize that has been offered,  they walked out of the large tent. Nova was the last one to follow and bumped into some guy by mistake. Despite stumbling back slightly, she immediately apologised to them but they didn't plan on letting her go that easily.

"Oh that's not a problem babygirl. I'm glad that our bodies touched." He took slow steps and Nova's gaze furrowed with rage. The guy took no mercy and advanced closer to her until her back pressed against the pole of the tent and she couldn't escape either way.

"I said I was sorry. Now let me go." She mustered up some courage and spoke through gritted teeth.

"Aww this little baby knows how to talk." He laughed with his friends who had joined him. Panic grew in her and eyes searched for her friends but they were nowhere to be found.

Just as he leaned in closer to her face with his gaze fixed on her lips, she heard a loud slap and that guy's head swung around to the other side. Nova's eyes widened in shock and immediately noticed Jungkook standing right behind the enraged tyrant. The look on his face made it clear that his pride was hurt and would pounce on Jungkook any moment.

Nova just prayed that the evening would go peacefully and her saviour would stay safe but the situation looked quite opposite.

"How dare you?" The guy growled at Jungkook, with his hands being pulled into tight fists.

"And how dare you, to make a move on some random girl?" He grit his teeth and this is the first time Nova has ever witnessed such an angry side of his. "Shameless roaches." He spat.

"Bastard!" The guy barked, his fist flying to give his opponent a punch but only to be stopped midway as Jungkook caught it tightly. Taking in his helpless state, one of his friend stepped forward to fight for him. Nova panicked while trying to hunt for some hard enough object in desire to help Jungkook.

"Stop right there or else all I wouldn't hesitate to report all of you." A deep husky voice boomed into the tent making every head to turn towards the voice, only to find Taehyung walking in with his phone on display for them all to see that he has actually typed in the Police Station's number and is serious about the reporting part.

The flame in their eyes died down and the tyrant's hand fell loose and his friend's stepped back in fear. Without a word each one of them turned around to leave the place and didn't even dare turn around.

"Thankyou Jungkook. You don't know how freaked out I was." Nova wrapped her hands around Jungkook's waist, pulling herself closer to hug him tight. "Their resemblance was nothing better than that of wild dogs." She scrunched her nose in disgust.

"Don't you think that they are being a bit too dramatic?" Jade whispered to Taehyung with her eyes still on her two hugging friends.

"I know right." Taehyung replied with the same voice replication. "Jungkookah, Jade is saying that you guys are being dramatic." He yelled loud, stepping away from Jade while cackling.

"The hell Tae!?" She exclaimed as she sprinte to catch hold of him who is already running away to escape the menace.
