=Taehyung POV=

Maybe I have never been this bored in my life. I've been struggling to not doze through the skits that have been presented until now. I really require a strong blow to sober me up.

"Skit 5, Taehyung and Nova." Someone announced. That was the blow I needed.

Nova has already ascended the stage before me, she's the typical meaning of preparation, so might be well composed for this mere act. Now me being her best nemesis, what am I going to do?

"Okay, action!" The director's voice boomed.

"I'm sorry, Taehyung. But we just can't be together." She started off. "M-maybe we aren't meant for each other." She sniffed. Wow Nova, well rehearsed indeed.

"You're right and I know why." Her face was strewn with a trace of confusion at my novel dialogue.

"I know why you're trying to sever ways now, after all that we did together." My face scrunched while I sniffed hard. "You've just used me to break free from the dungeons that you're parents have erected. You've never really loved me." I laughed bitterly but Nova's eyes dilated and she looked horrified. LOL.

"I should've seen through you when I noticed that you never actually pay attention to my choices, even though here I know almost everything about you. Everything." I rubbed my nose against my shirt sleeve, even though it wasn't running.

"That's not true. I do know stuff about you." I was taken back, my brows furrowed. I didn't expect her to play along. "Whenever I cook for us, I make sure to keep the spice level to the minimum because I know you can't tolerate it. When you shriek like a disaster while playing Overwatch, I listen to music to sleep instead of hustling you off because I know that's your way of relaxing from academic stress. You love anime and kids so much, you like to sleep by hugging a pillow. See, I do know you." She crossed her arms with a huff. I was absolutely astonished. She isn't playing along but she is proving my words as a paradox. We are no longer playing the skit, she dragged us both into the reality and I never realized that Nova could be this observant.

"So what, those were so obvious. That alone can't prove your love." I turned around and took slow dramatic steps toward the other side.

"Oh, so you consider yourself to be the world's greatest lover? Don't you forget that you almost chopped off my two fingers about a week ago." She exhibited her fingers and I seriously wanted to bury my head somewhere.

"I wonder if you've ever noticed how aggressive and full of attitude you behave with me." I quirked a brow.

"Well, that's because you deserve it." She shrugged. I was speechless, only Nova could climax an argument saying that her opponent deserves all the shit she gives. Defeated, I turned aside searching for Jin among the crowd and found him beside Jungkook who was recording all the drama that just took place.

I guess Jin fathomed my mortifying state and immediately began to clap his hands together and rest of the crowd followed. God, this is so embarrassing.

We both quickly got down the stage from either sides. I still hope that no one suspects anything off between us or the fact that I live with this devil, that would put the majority of our friends through a shock wave. I immediately approached Jin to thank him.

"Sorry, that was an epic fail," I chuckled awkwardly.

"Shall we go sit somewhere and have a talk?" He had a civil smile on and I barely nodded.

"So, when you altered your first dialogue itself, it was clear that you weren't going by the script." We sat at far end seats in the auditorium itself. "Secondly, I expected a melodrama but you both gave me this generation's lovers' combat. Thanks for that or I could have literally fallen asleep if those dumb plays went on." He laughed which made me giggle. It wasn't his sense of humour that could make us smile but it's his laugh that's contagious.

"So, tell me, you both live together right?" He shrugged his eyebrows. "I mean, like housemates... isn't it?" I just simply nodded, having no other white lie to cover up. I knew people would figure it out, we were so obvious. Why the crap did I attempt to ruin our play, now I feel so exposed. Damn.

"I've learned that you and Nova are sort of... arch enemies?" Before I could give a full agreement nod, he began to speak again. "But are you sure that you solely just hate her?"

"Of course I do." My words were strong. "Just because I bullied her once in high school, she has been making me write the spelling of torture with my butt." I growled and he burst into peals of laughter.

"Don't you think you're exaggerating things?" He giggled. "I don't think what just happened on stage was just an act. You guys need to listen to your hearts more, not ignore and dodge it's indications. This forced rivalry would take you nowhere." With that being said, he smiled softly and patted my shoulder before making his way towards the videographer Jungkook.

I'm not sure where Jin was trying to get to but one thing in his words was reasonable. I can get nowhere with being on rival terms with anyone. Personally, I have nothing against Nova, it's just her irritated reactions towards my deeds that entertain me and further motivate me to mess with her. The general audience must have witnessed her basic character and perhaps her sweet side to the maximum. But only I know the distinct side of Nova that breaks free when she's riled up and flaring at me. I'm not gonna lie and deny the fact that she's actually... hot when she's angry.

I got up and padded towards where Jade and Nova were standing, while I prepared my ground to accept my fair share of scoldings from her. She turned around upon noticing my presence and I wished I would go lifeless for what I could have in store for me.

"Oh, you're here." Her face was normal.

Nova looked NORMAL.

I stared blankly at her, totally dumbstruck by her face which didn't hint any extreme reactions. What's going on in that pretty head of her's? This feels so surreal yet murky.

"A-aren't you furious with me?" I dared to ask.

"Furious?" She furrowed her brows for a second before realising what I meant. "Oh about the skit? Not a big deal, don't want to proceed further anyway." She shrugged. She's the most unpredictable woman I ever came across.

"I'm going home. Bye." She left after affirming to us.

=Nova's POV=

I was pretty tired and returned home quite earlier than the rest of them. I was partly thankful to Taehyung for ruining the skit, I didn't want to qualify further anyway.

I closed the door behind me and slumped into the couch, closed my eyes and stretched lethargically to ease my strained muscles and mind. I'm hungry but would prefer to sleep over eat.

Just as I got up to proceed to my room, I found a couple of photocopied and perfectly stapled papers lying on the table with a paperweight placed over them. I wouldn't be curious over those papers if they haven't fluttered and I hadn't noticed those two words in bold letters.

"Transfer Certificate." My eyes enlarged.
