I was sitting with team Natsu. But I got a weird vibe coming from Lucy. I don't know why if she's a friend. I got up and went to the request board. I looked for a good job that will pay me well.

"Looking for a job? " I heard Destiny ask.

"Yeah but I just don't which one though. There are multiple but they seem a bit to easy. " I said. That's when Freed walked in with a group. I looked at Freed.

"Where's Gramps at you poor pathetic excuses for wizards?! And yes I'm talking to all of you! " a guy said. He had yellow hair and a coat hanging around him. He stared at me and smirked. "So your the new chick. Well I'll tell you that your a whole lot better an that Lucy chick. " he said putting both his hands on my sides so I won't escape.

"Hey! " Lucy shouted.

"Stay out of this blonde. " he said. "The names Laxus. " he said.

"Get your disgusting perverted hands off of her! " Destiny shouted. He just laughed evilly.

"Stay out of this you cat. " he said.

"You can't talk to destiny like that! " Happy shouted. Destiny and me looked at Happy. He eyes softened, and lightly blushed.

He got closer and closer to me. My eyes widened. When all the sudden a sword was between our faces. I was breathing heavily.

"That's enough. " a voice said. I looked to see Freed. A small smile came across my face.

"Freed... " Laxus said but was cut off my Freed.

"Sir please. " Freed said. Laxus left along with the other two. Freed put his sword away and followed them without another word. I grabbed a job.

"After what just happened you still want to go on a job?! " Destiny asked.

"Yeah. " I said.

"I swear I don't understand you sometimes. " she said. Happy left back to Natsu. I walked to the bar.

"Hey Mari I'm taking this one. " I said.

"Alright good luck. " she said with a closed eye smile.

"Wait just a minute. " the master said. "Freed get back here. " the master said. Him and the entire group he was with stopped and looked at gramps. He walked towards the master.

"Yes? " Freed asked.

"I want you to go on this job with y/n." He said.

"But master I can take care of myself." I said.

"I don't like it when any of my children go alone on a job. " I said.

"But I'm not going alone I've got Destiny. " I said.

"You as well as I, she can get hurt easily. " Master said.

"That's not... " master cut me off.

"Yes you do. " he said.

"But she can... " he cut me off again.

"Sh. " is all that came out of his mouth. I was about to keep on going, but Destiny put her hand on my shoulder and shaked her head.

"Fine. " I said and walked out of the guild really mad. Freed and Destiny following behind me.

"Be careful beautiful. " Laxus said.

"Put a sock in it! " I shouted at him and kept walking.

Freed's pov.

I was walking behind y/n. When Laxus stopped me.

"Make sure she learns how to control herself. She can't push me around like that. Teach her a lesson. " Laxus whispered in my ear. My eyes widened. But I nodded my head.

Your pov.

It was really quite the entire walk.

"Nobody should judge you like that Destiny! You know you are way more powerful than you look! " I shouted.

"Yes I know. But I don't want you to get in any trouble with the master. " she said.

"Oh right. Hey Freed I almost forgot to thank you for saving me from Laxus. " I said with a closed eye smile.

"I can't believe you. " he said. My smile vanished.

"What do you mean? " I asked.

"You made me go against me master. " he said.

"What are you talking about?! Are you really saying that that little group of wannabe powerful wizards are more important than your childhood friend?! " I asked shouting.

"Don't talk about them like that! " Freed shouted at me. My eyes widened.

"You never yelled at me. Your all suck up's that's what you are! You know what I don't need your help! Go back and keep being a suck up! Apparently you don't care about me anymore! " I said and started to run. But I stopped and looked back at him. "And to think that I liked you more than a friend when we were little. " I said. His eyes widened. I kept walking, but he grabbed my wrist.

"What? " he asked in shock.

"Wow you really didn't get any of the hints? " I asked.

"What hints? " he asked.

"Forget I said anything. " I replied.

"I can't. You can't just say that and act like nothing happened. " he said.

"Your mother knew. " I said.

"Say what now. " he said. I pulled my hand away from his grip.

"Please just forget everything. " I said.

"But... " I cut him off.

"Please we have to go to our job. " I said.

"What's our job? " he asked.

"Stop a gang of robbers in a small town near here. " I said. I ran and so did Destiny.

Time skips...

We made it to the small town. And saw the gang of robbers ready to enter a house.

"I wouldn't go in that house if I were you. " I said.

"Oh yeah and why not? Just get out of here. " he said. "You didn't see anything. I stepped into the light along with Destiny.

"Because you guys are now dealing with fairy tail. " I said. "Destiny now! " I shouted. She transformed into a human version of herself. "Ready Destiny? " I asked.

"Yeah. " she said. And we started to fight.

In two minutes we we're done. I smiled and she turned into her regular form. We went back to the guild along with Freed. I collected my reward and sat at team Natsu's table. While Freed was gone with what I heard the thunder legion.
