Tonight was date night for the young couple of Y/N and Alexa, who both were absolutely in love with each other. Alexa has even told her parents about her and Y/N getting together and they welcomed the young man wholeheartedly into their circle so to speak. Y/N liked Bob and Angela just as much as they liked him which made things between them a whole lot easier. Ever since they first met each other, the mutual respect was there because Alexa's parents felt that Y/N was a great guy who was willing to take care of her as best as he possibly could. Their friends and other co-workers were really happy for the two as well, supporting and defending them on social media against any haters or weirdos.

Now what was the plan for this date? It was simple: dancing. Y/N rediscovered his actual romantic side and thought that taking some time to have fun and unwind was going to be good for them.

Alexa:" We're not getting drunk tonight, right?"

Y/N:" Nope, there's no alcohol involved in this, I swear."

Alexa:" Not that I'm totally against it, but I'm not in the mood for drinking."

Y/N:" I understand what you mean by that. Neither am I, since it can screw things up badly in a matter of minutes."

Alexa:" Yeah...I'm just glad we can be on ourown tonight."

Y/N:" So am I."

Y/N smiled and turned around, but what he saw immediatly blew him away.

Alexa was going all out with her outfit and appearance for the night and judging by her speechless boyfriend, she succeeded on a whole new level.

Alexa:" What's the matter, Y/N? Cat got your tongue?"

Y/N:" I-uh-you oh wow..."

Alexa:" Hehehe it's not too much, right?"

Y/N:" You look perfect, sweetheart. From your hair, to your eyes and face as a whole and your clothes."

Alexa:" Awww, you flatterer. You don't look too bad yourself~."

Truth be told, Y/N just bought this a few days ago and only now got around to actually wear these clothes. Fortunately Alexa's reaction confirmed that he was looking good as Little Miss Bliss had to cool herself down.

Alexa:"I-I didn't expect that step from you, honey."

Y/N:" Oh, you mean this? It's my newest outfit actually. Do you like it?"

Akexa:" I love it. You look amazing in it, believe me."

Y/N smiled and blushed as he wrapped an arm around her waist before both of them looked in the mirror they had in their room, seeing each other like that.

Alexa:" I'd say we make a pretty couple, don't you think?"

Y/N:" I agree. We're beautiful."

Alexa smiled up at Y/N before she rested her head against his chest, just enjoying the embrace they shared with each other. She felt safe and happy every time she was with Y/N, no matter if it was for work, gym, interviews or in their downtime like this. She fell deeper in love with him and it showed by how affectionate she became as she left a few kisses in the middle of his chest, causing him to shudder.

Y/N:" H-Hey, what's that about?"

Alexa:" I'm just showing my love for you, Y/N. You're making me so happy, you protect me and you know me better than anyone else."

Y/N:" Awww, I'm glad I can be that person, Alexa. And to be absolutely honest, I feel the same way with you. You're also making me happy, loved and appreciated. Ever since we talked things out after that pool party, I feel like this wasn't a random occurance. I feel like it was destined to happen and I'm glad to have you in my life as a best friend and girlfriend."

Alexa smiled widely and jumped into Y/N's arms, her hands locked in the back of his neck to hold on. The two looked into each other's eyes and leaned their foreheads together. Their sweet embrace was only interrupted by a knock on the door, but instead of letting go of Y/N, Alexa stayed on him as he walked over and opened the door to reveal Peyton.

Peyton:" Umm hey guys. What's this about?"

Alexa:" Hi Pey. We're fooling around a bit before we go out for our date."

Peyton:" Ah nice. You both look absolutely fantastic, if I may say so."

Y/N:" Thank you very much for that. Can we help you with anything?"

Alexa:" I mean you probably didn't come here just to check in, right?"

Peyton:" Right right right, I came over for a reason, which is that there will be a house show in two days and you two are scheduled to go against me and Cesaro."

Alexa:" Oooh very nice. That's going to be a fun match in my opinion. Why you and Cesaro though?"

Peyton:" No clue, but that's the plan this far."

Y/N:"Weird, if you ask me. I mean you and Cesaro have no chemistry in the ring as far as I can tell."

Peyton:" Ehh, we'll make things work and put on a fun match. Don't expect us to go easy on you though."

Alexa:" Is that a hint of the Relentless Royce coming through?"

Peyton:" Maybe a little. Only time will tell us that though. Anyways, I gotta go. Billie, Nattie and Paige are waiting for me."

The three friends let out a round of soft laughter before Peyton left, giving Alexa and Y/N a bit more time to themselves until it was their turn to head out.

A short car ride later has brought the couple to the designated spot Y/N had in mind for the date. He didn't wanna go to s club or a fancy restaurant or something. Instead, he opted for something more natural and natural it was.

Y/N led Alexa towards the lake that was lit by the moonlight and a few lamp posts in the area.

Alexa:" Y/N, this is...it's beautiful."

Y/N:" I had high hopes for tonight anyways, so I'm glad that you like it, Lexi."

Alexa:" You didn't need to go out of your way like that though. I mean-"

Y/N:" It's totally okay for me to do something unexpected like this. I have a lot of things I could surprise you with."

Alexa:" Like what?"

That was the cue for Y/N to clap his hands together twice which activated a radio that started playing romantic music.

Y/N:" May I have this dance?"

To say he was prepared for everything would've been an understatement in the moment, because Alexa looked like she was about to cry tears of joy from all the things Y/N has been doing with and for her. She took careful steps towards him and l8nked their hands together before looking up at the big man.

Alexa:" I can't believe you're doing all this for us, Y/N. You had this in mind for a while now, didn't you?"

Y/N:" I did, because we quite clearly deserve a break from the trouble as well. I want our life together to be the best and most incredible. We know what the other has been through and we accept each other's flaws and imperfections, because those are what makes us individual."

Alexa:" Well said, love."

They smiled and shared a tender kiss with each other.

After a few seconds, it was time to commence to the fun part as Alexa let Y/N take the lead of this dance. He wasn't a professional by any means, but he knew what he had to do to keep the rhythmic movements as al8ve as possible. After all, he didn't wanna disappoint her with anything he did.

This proved that it was in fact possible to be goofy and cute without appealing to some people's expectations. Being serious all the time wasn't their thing to be honest as they danced and laughed, moving from one side to the other without any interruptions. Alexa already loved their time off and seeing Y/N be genuinly happy and loving just raised her own satisfaction even higher. She was sure that he wouldn't be only a great lover, but also a great father for their child that was slowly but surely growing inside her.

Alexa:" Say, Y/N: did you think of any names for our child? I know it's early and all, but we need to be prepared for the coming future."

Y/N:" It's totally okay to ask already, Alexa. And yes, I did think of a few."

Alexa:" Ooooh, now you gotta tell me."

Y/N:" You're adorable. For a boy, I think Dylan, James or Leon. As for a girl, I thought of Skylar, Jordyn or Annabelle."

Alexa:" Those are great names actually. I really like them a lot. And...I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow to check on the baby."

Y/N:" And let me guess: You want me to come with you."

Alexa gave Y/N a clear nod and a smile. She was nervous about how the checkup would go, but knowing Y/N was going to be with her eased her mind even more, until they continued their dance for a while longer.

Alexa:" Dates like this mean the world to me, Y/N. I love you."

Y/N:" I love you too, Alexa. You mean the world to me as well and more."

Alexa:" Do you think we could visit my parents when we got some time off? It has been a while since I was back home."

Y/N:" Of course, honey. And then we can tell them about you being pregnant as well."

Alexa:" They wanted to be grandparents sooner or later, so I think we're fulfilling their wish with it."

Y/N:" I don't blame them for that. It's natural to want the own bloodline to carry on."

Alexa:" You're right. I mean both of us have great people in our life, but...come to think of it, you didn't talk very much about your parents apart from that one time when you were all drenched from the rain."

Y/N looked at her with a somewhat somber expression on his face. Something about the topic of his parents was stirring him up the wrong way and it didn't look like he was ready to talk about it at the time.

Alexa:" I-I'm sorry, darling. I didn't mean to upset you."

Y/N:" It's okay, sweet cheeks. Don't worry about it too much. I mean I gotta face that one way or another and...I will gladly tell you about them in detail tomorrow. Let's enjoy the rest of the night, alright?"

Alexa:" Yes, please. I don't like seeing you sad."

This made Y/N smile softly as he planted a kiss on the tip of her nose. Despite some things still being rocky to talk about, he knew Alexa would listen and give her opinion about things that concerned her loved ones. Their relationship was special in a lot of different ways as the two took the time and danced the night away.
