Date Time has come around for Little Miss Bliss and male best friend and almost boyfriend Y/N. Despite all the things they said and did around each other, the two didn't officially establish that they were a couple, although a lot of people backstage believe that by now. Things like the kisses on the cheek, the forehead or, a bit more rarely, on the lips were confirmation enough for those people to gossip about the possible relationship between Alexa and Y/N. Even their friends couldn't stop teasing them about it, even tagging both of them on every post on social media that had something to do with love and affection. Alexa knew she couldn't resist the opportunity to bring out the flustered Y/N in any way she could and tonight wouldn't be different as she tried on a few outfits and asked Mickie and Peyton for their opinions. It was clear that she really was serious about the whole thing.

Mickie:" Don't stress yourself, Alexa. It's not like Y/N is hard to impress."

Alexa:" I know, but I want our date to be something special."

Peyton:" It's already special, because it's just the two of you going out without any of us."

Alexa:" But still. Y/N is a whole different kind of man. He takes no bullshit from anyone, he's funny, smart, cute, talented, a gentleman and he knows what he wants. Good luck finding someone like that again."

Peyton:" Well, I can't deny any of that. It's true that Y/N is all that, but there's a lot more on the inside."

Mickie:" I don't know how much he told you, but I hope you're ready for when it comes. You know when it rains, it pours."

Alexa:" Yeah, I know...Gosh, I'm so nervous."

Alexa's heart was racing as she put on another outfit, hoping it would finally be the right one. This was only the second real date she had with Y/N on her own. All the other times with their friends around where more like just hanging out with everyone. Not really the intimate atmosphere she wanted. However, none of that would ever actually stop the 5 feet of fury from getting what she wants. And just a moment later, Alexa was done.

Alexa:" What do you think? It's not too much, is it?"

Peyton:" Miss Alexa Bliss, you look fantastic. There's nothing wrong with this dress at all."

Mickie:" Y/N will fall for you immediatly when he sees you like this. You're both cute and sexy at the moment."

Alexa:" You think? I'm not showing too much?"

Peyton:" You're showing enough, girl. You're a looker nonetheless."

Mickie:" And maybe you can show him more skin in a different way~."

Akexa:" S-Shut up, it won't be like that."

Mickie and Peyton laughed softly while Alexa blushed and walked into the bathroom to start doing her hair and make-up. She knew she would be teased again sooner or later and that was the exact moment when Mickie and Peyton layed out. They loved a few good jokes from time to time, even if they were a little mean and teasing like this one. Y/N was a decent man who appreciated people for who they were, not their looks or any awards they won. He just needed a fun job with a stable income and a loving girlfriend at one point. There was no talk of kids or retirement by a long shot and given the fact that he just got back from a broken leg showed that he was far from done. Instead, he was just getting started on his path to become one of the greats and Alexa was supporting him all the way.

Peyton:" Don't think too much about him though. Otherwise you'll go out red as a tomato."

Alexa:" Shut it, will you? You of all people know what Y/N looks like naked, so you can easily put that aside whenever you want."

Peyton:" Yeah, that's true. It's an image I will never forget."

Mickie:" No, you're not going to daydream now, Peyton. We got some stuff to take care of as well and I need your full attention for that."

Peyton:" Okay okay, got it. I'm fine."

The ladies continued to talk for a little longer and made sure Alexa looked perfect, which in all honesty was already the case at the time.

Meanwhile a few rooms further down the hallway, Y/N took things a bit more relaxed as he looked through his clothes. He was alone in his room, mit because he didn't need any guidance, but because everyone else was either going out as well or busy in one of the many other ways. Also his outfit was far easier to pick for some reason as he took out everything he needed and then went to take a shower.

During the shower, Y/N thought about everything. The last few weeks have been going quite well in and out of work. He reunited with hismost trusted friends, he fighted the hell out if every match he had so far and have interviews at any chance he could. If this wasn't dedication to doing what he loved, then people were either blind or not paying attention at anything he did. The big man chuckled as he disregarded that thought when suddenly Alexa popped into his mind.

Alexa:"You're my favorite human being."

If she only knew how happy that sentence alone made him. Y/N sure had a reputation as being popular with the ladies, but Alexa was the only one in a long time to credit him as a personal favorite.

Y/N:" Oh Alexa, if you only knew what you're in for tonight."

Y/N chuckled and then had a small smirk on his face as he rinsed himself off and washed his hair. It was true that Y/N had something planned and he hoped it worked. Not that he was going crazy with anything, but he knew how to impress someone with even the simplest of things. The young wrestler didn't waste any time in drying himself off and brushing his hair into something that resembled a comfortable hair style before he finally got dressed.

Y/N:" If we're going all in, I might as well go all out."

Y/N smiled checked the time to see that he had about 15 minutes left before he was meeting up with Alexa, so he sat down and told everyone not to disturb him tonight, which was received very well by everyone, but Liv.

Liv:" Awww, I thought we had some play time 😥."

Y/N:" Don't be sad, Liv. I will turn my attention to you again soon, trust me 🤗. Remember I'm always here for everyone."

Liv:" You better be or I'll drag your butt through the swamps. #NotSorry 🤗. Have a great night. And don't go crazy on the wine!"

Y/N:" I know. Drink doesn't work out very well for me. I'll try to be careful, but can't promise anything 😜."

Liv:" You dork. Now get going. You can't let a lady wait."

Alexa:" Don't go stealing my date though, Liv 😄."

Lov:" Never would even think about it, Miss Bliss. 😘. Have fun tonight."

Y/N chuckled and the put his phone on silent as he got up. He was excited to go out with Alexa and finally be alone with her again.

The specialty Y/N had prepared was to take Alexa to his favorite italian restaurant and so they found themselves right in front of it. The glances they got through the windows  surely were promising to say the least.

Alexa:" You weren't kidding when you said tonight woukd be something else."

Y/N:" Surprises are my specialty, Alexa. I don't skip on anything when it comes to dates."

Alexa:" I see that. This place is awesome."

Y/N:" Shall we head in, M'lady?"

Alexa:" Yes, we shall."

Alexa giggled as she linked her arm with Y/N's own as they went inside the restaurant, looking at the interior and waited for someone to bring them to their table. And that person appeared in the form of a young waitress.

Waitress:" Good Evening. How can I help you?"

Y/N:" Good evening. Y/N L/N is the name. I reserved a table for two."

Waitress:" I remember. You called earlier today. Please follow me. Your table is already prepared."

Y/N and Alexa nodded and followed the young woman towards a table that was slightly plateued, giving the two a better view over what was happening around them. Y/N moved the chair back for Alexa and she smiled as his kindness as she sat down. Y/N joined her on the other side of the table as the young waitress handed them two menus.

Waitress:" I will be back in a few minutes. I hope everything will be to your liking."

Alexa:" Thank you."

The waitress nodded and left them alone as they took a good look at the dishes that were offered. It was a lot different from their last date, but surely made up for any bad moments that might have happened.

Alexa:" So Y/N, I was curious. What's the deal with you and Liv?"

Y/N:" Oh that? Liv and I, we're very good friends who had some 'close contact' as I like to call it in public. And no, we never dated, unlike Peyton and I."

Alexa:" Why did that end though? Peyton is still speaking highly of you, you know?"

Y/N:" Yes, I know and I appreciate it every day. Our relationship didn't work on a personal level. We're so different from each other that our personalities clashed a lot and to save ourselves from disaster, we decided to remain friends, but nothing else."

Alexa:" Wow, sucks to be you."

Alexa and Y/N shared a soft laugh at the intended joke. It was true: Y/N's dating life was a rollercoaster. He tried so many times and it worked for some time, but then things started to go south sooner or later. Alexa had a slightly better reputation though, but it still shocked people that she was single by this point.

Alexa:" Just kidding though. It's just weird to see a lickstarter like you not being chased by the ladies."

Y/N:" I was crazily underrated in NXT, so people didn't like me very much at first. Then the broken leg happened and most fans didn't care very much. I lost a lot of credibility due to the injury and hated myself for being an idiot."

Alexa:" You're still an idiot sometimes, but you're better now. It's not like BOOM and everything faded to dust."

Y/N:" Yeah, you're right. I built myself something no one else can ever have and that is my career. No matter what they send at us, we will always send them back."

Their talk carried on for quite a while as they looked at each other and smiled. It brought a blush to Alexa's face while Y/N chuckled softly and drank some water to calm himself down. Their food was also brought out as well by now. Alexa opted for some Fettucine Alfredo.

Y/N onthe other hand went into the exact opposite direction with shark steak on rice.

Alexa:" Another case of opposites. You got the fish and I got the bird, because of the chicken."

Y/N:" What does life always say? Opposites attract which is very much the case at the moment. And I wouldn't have it any other way."

Alexa:" You give a lot about life lessons, don't you?"

Y/N:" I learned to go through hell and back multiple times. Stuff like that toughens you up over time."

Alexa looked at Y/N with curiousity as they ate. Hearing him talk about the hardships in his life was feeling so different from their usual lighthearted talks. She didn't know this serious side very well, but it intrigued her to get to know more. Maybe there wasn't just the nice Y/N.

About 2 hours and quite a few drinks later, both Y/N and Alexa were full and also tipsy from emptying 3 bottles of red wine together. They weren't heavy drinkers by any means, but they enjoyed themselves quite well.

Y/N:" I feel like today has gone by in a flash, don't you think?"

Alexa:" Uhhh, yeah. What even happened to the time we had?"

Y/N:" Gone with the wind like a candle in the breeze."

Alexa:" Hahaha lame. Even we can last longer."

Last longer..... something clicked inside Y/N as he thought about how Alexa said it. He wasn't sure if it was the alcohol speaking or he just imagined things, but Alexa smiled widely as she led Y/N up the stairs and towards her room.

Alexa:" Thank you for taking me out, Y/N...would you like to come in?"

Y/N:" C-Come in?"

Alexa:" You're drunk when you're cute...uhh, wait the other way around: cute when drunk."

Y/N:" Alexa, I think we both had too much. I shhh...I shhhou-"

Alexa:" No, you get in here."

Alexa wasn't letting Y/N go anywhere, so she pulled him closer and kissed him passionately as she closed and locked the door. Only time would tell what they did behind behind closed doors.
