Monday morning. You hate it. I hate it. Garfield hates it.

Then there's school. You hate it. I hate it. Everyone hates it.

But, we all have to go through it. It's apart of the sad process through life.

Yet nothing says 'Goodmorning' like a bunch of police officers swarming around Riley's apartment.

While Ariella was asleep in my arms, Stiles and I watched as Riley was being investigated by three police officers.

''Put this in you're shitty little notepad; Alice Jessica Carters has been supposingly missing for two fucking weeks, and all that I could possibly know about her whereabouts is that she is spending time with her grandmother. Am I clear?'' She snapped, obviously irritated at the fact that she was being randomly raded in her apartment on a Monday morning.

The three nodded and went inside of her apartment.

''I'm gonna go check on her'' I whispered, handing Ariella to Stiles.

As I walked over she released a frustrating sigh while closing her eye's, rubbing her temples.

''Hey'' I greeted softly as I walked up to her. Her expression soften at the recognition of who it was.

I chuckled nervously. ''What's going on?''.

She slapped her hand agaibst her thigh and took a glimpse inside before looking back at me.

''They got a warrent to search my house because someone reported Alice missing. I don't really blame them, she's been gone for a long time and whenever I try calling her she never answers'' She explained.

I arched my eyebrows, turning back to a curious Stiles.

''Do you uh, want me stay with you until they leave?'' I ask.

She shook her head sighed,  softer than the last.

''Nah, I'm good. Thanks''.

I smiled and return back to Stiles.

''Lets go downstairs, most likely my dad is around'' He predicated as we started walking towards the elevator.

''Alice Jessica Carter. Reported missing on December 18 by anonymous'' Mr. Stilinski stated as Stiles, Ariella, Kira, Scott, Lydia and I stood in his office.

Stiles decided not to bother into coming to school today to help investigate on the whole Alice case and drag along Scott, Kira and Lydia.

Though it would've been smart to drop off Ariella.

''Anonymous?'' I questioned, curious as to why a name was stated.

''We tried tracing the caller but it was a landline''.

''So all that we have is that she's been with Mrs. Carter'' Scott reminded.

''Have you tried contacting her instead?'' Kira interrogated.

''No one, not even the workers know her number. It's only Alice but obviously that options off the table''.

I pursed my lips and dozed off, trying to figure out ways of getting any lead.

While the water constantly rained down on me, a knock was audible from the door.

''Juliet, please consider sneaking into my grams? She lives on 180 Maple Road, it isn't even that far?'' Alice begged from the hallway.

''Go Away!'' I yelled as I scraped the teal loofer up and doen my arms.

''180 Maple Road'' I muttered.

''What?'' Scott ask, tunring to me being as he was the only one in the room with heightened hearing.

''Alice wanted me to sneak into Mrs. Carters house to get a few things for her and she even told me where she lived'' I elaborated.

''Which is-'' Lydia started to questioned but was interrupted by me and Scott.

''180 Maple Road''.

''Mrs. Carter!'' I called from the front door as I pressed my knuckles against the door three times.

No response.

I sighed and turned to the group of of six as the wind started to blow harder and colder than before.

''Someone's in there. I can hear a heartbeat'' Scott stated, observing the front of house as if he was trying to pin point it's location.

A loud crash from the back to us by surprise. We all walked to the end of the porch to see a bunch of trash cans laid out on the ground.

''Go, Go!'' Mr. Stilinski repeated as we all ran of the porch, running down the small path.

Yes, Ariella is still with us but for the moment she was still sleeping in my arms.

I'm not a bad parent.

''Juliet Seriously?!'' Lydia questions, eyeing Ariella and I as we ran behind the others.

''Don't judge me'' I stated quickly while inhaling the cold air.

''Shit!'' Scott screamed, approaching to a stop. We all stopped next to him, noticing Mrs. Carter several feet away from an unconscious Alice, surrounded by salt that circled around them.

''I don't understand. That's salt so why can't we go in?'' Kira questioned.

''It's a boundary spell''.

We all turned to unexpectedly see Derek, looking around astonished.

''And it won't come down until she kills Alice''.
