''We need to get you a date''.
What a perfect sentence to help encourage the thin piece of lettuce go down the wrong direction of my throat.
Lydia herself and the others narrowed their eye's in confusion as they watched me cough it back up, only to clear my throat. Oh, and how I could forget those steamy tears I had to blink away.
''I don't necessarily need a date'' I corrected, dragging my fork into the grape size and shape tomatoe.
''Not once since you've came back, have you had a night with yourself and a guy'' Lydia complained, pushing her tray of food to the side, apparently losing her appetite.
''Maybe it's because guys aren't really my priority right now'' I said honestly. House maintenance, child, secret, school, job, all the wonderful reasons why my social life is non existent to humans.
She snorted. ''What? Oh my god, Juliet look at where you are. This is high school, social life is major key in it. If you don't get a boyfriend soon people are going to see you as either a loner or lesbian''.
I flatten my lips and arched my eyebrows with a simple shrug of my shoulders, "Let them think what they want. I'm a senior, I should be worried about graduating and stepping into my future".
She sighed that may I add was overly exaggerated while pouting of my denial.
''Just to get this clear, you aren't a lesbian right?'' Stiles asked, tuning all of our attentions. Especially Malia's.
''Why does it matter?'' She chimes in with, oh my god it- it might be jealousy. Or it could be something else, you never know.
''It's always good to know. B.T.W I am not'' I noted. I reached over to Kira's tray and stole a french fry, popping it into my mouth as I watch Malia concentrate her infuriating gaze upon me.

I sat on the bleachers with Malia and Lydia watching the boys -and Kira- practice another boring game of Lacrosse.
Had I not made it clear that I do not care for such a sport?
''Can someone explain to me why Kira is the only female in this?'' I ask while watching her make another ball in the net.
''She needed to fill in'' Lydia vaguely informs as her face is full on in her phone.
I smirk as my attention is on her. ''Whatcha doin'?''.
''A little something something for you'' She hints joyfully flipping her screen away from me and towards Malia. In fact Malia laughed which made me even more curious as to what she was doing.
''And.. Okay, now you can look''. She handed me her phone, only to see a profile with a picture of me and a username of Juliet West.
I squinted my eyes as I read aloud, ''Any cuties, hit me up. I'm adventurous''.
I looked up to see Malia laughing hysterically while Lydia smiled widely.
''You Signed Me Up For A Dating App!''.
Thus added to Malia's laughter.
She raised her hands up in defense, ''I know desperate when I see it''.
''Yeah, well because I'm suddenly 'adventurous', I'll Definitely Be Getting Lesbians Now!'' I screeched.
'Oh My God!'' Malia laughed, bending over to the point where she can almost roll her way down the bleachers.
'Now that'll be funny', I thought.
She waved me away, ignoring my comment. ''Look you got 10 responses, it'll be fun. Besides it's just dates, it's not like I set you up for sex nights''.
I arched my eyebrows in utter disbelieve.
''Well gee Lydia, I'm adventurous. Hit me up so you can tell me all the kinky stuff we can do for the night'' I mocked in full sarcasm.
She nodded in agreement, examining supposedly 'my' profile. ''I thought it was to up front''.
I slapped my hands on my lap while shaking my head.
''Juliet, at least pick someone from you're twenty'' She begged.
''I thought you said ten?'' I questioned.
She handed me her phone again. ''It doubled''.
I took it from her, looking of the list of list of men who are interested.
''This one looks interesting''.
The two leaned over to see the one I picked out.
''Oh my god he sounds perfect. Maybe I can have him..'' Lydia mumbled the last part.
''Click accept'' Malia urged.
I snorted, 'That's a first'.
''Well now all he has to do is pick a place and time'' I noted as I handed Lydia back her phone after accepting his request.
''Which to him is today at Basile Cafe at six. Coffee date, you sure you wanna get back into the joy of relationships with a coffee date?'' She interrogated.
I looked at her solemnly, ''You sure you could've set me with someone from school before with someone blindly online?''.
This brought back another roar of laughter from Malia.
''You'll thank me later'' Lydia mumbled while returning her attention back on the Lacrosse field.

''Juliet, there's a really attractive guy asking for you. Yet all I can get is nasty old exes'' Fabian, a worker at the cafe informed snarky while I just finished making up an order.
Have you ever wanted a gay best friend? Because you know that they'll be the funniest and the most truthful person you can ever meet?
Well Fabian can sure as hell be truthful gay guy that you just can't stand.
I looked into the place to notice a familiar sitting at a table for two.. Alone.
I wiped my hands onto my apron while I stared, ''Oh yeah. Cover for me''.
''No Juliet! I don't like you'' He mumbled as I walked away. I rolled my eye's as I approached the table.
''Hi I'm so sorry-''.
I stopped the second I say the guys face.
''Derek?''.
''Grocery girl'' He pointed out. I looked away astonished.
''Um I already told you my name. It was even on my profile. Juliet. Not that hard to forget, exact name from Romeo And Juliet so..'' I remarked.
He nodded, ''Right''.
''Well do you want me to make you a drink-''.
''Actually I gotta go'' He quickly interrupted. His gazed was focused on something from outside the opened windows. He then got up and left.
''Oh sweetheart. Now that is how you turn a man gay in two point five seconds'' Fabian stated rudely as he walked passed me to clean up the table beside me. I threw my head back while flaring my nostrils in annoyance.

Lydia:
He just left? Just like that
I typed up three simple letters and just before I hit send, the screen disappeared into a caller ID.
''Hey Mrs.Carter'' I greeted once I hit the green answer button.
''She's roaming the preserve. I want you to meet me there in ten minutes''.
I stuttered, ''Mrs.Carters as much as I want to find Alice and bring her home, I have a sister to watch. Besides I live far from the preserve and I don't have a car''.
''Oh-''. Although I'm pretty sure that was only thing Mrs.Carter was going to say for the second, my phone was snatched away. I turned to see Alice standing beside the bed, holding my phone with the most devious smile I've ever seen.
She brought her finger up to her lips to initiate me to be quiet before ending the call.
''Grandma is looking for me isn't she?'' She asked knowingly. I nodded to assure her.
''And I'm guessing she told you about the supernatural being that you didn't ask how she knew for sure I was at the preserve?''.
I nodded, ''Pretty much''.
She smacked her lips apart. ''Well can I least crash here for the night. Trust me, I have been well trained since the night of Halloween''.
''Of course''.
She giggled as she jumped her body onto the spot next to me.
''Let the art of prankcalls begin''.
