I finger my lips.

She kissed me.

Eclipse kissed me.

Why?

I shudder.

"Boo!"

I shriek.

"Hah, Vi! I totally got you. You could say that you were spooked by... A ghost!" The kid bursts into laughter.

I roll my eyes.

"What, not today?" he asks, leaning over so we make eye contact.

I grunt.

"Okay, okay. I get it. Things with Piccsel didn't go that well. But you need to try to talk to Eclipse, get her to understand, y'know?"

"I tried doing that, and she ended up kissing me," I spit.

He just stares at me.

"Scoot over." He pushes me over and plops down next to me on his bed.

"Now, what happened?"

And I spill it all. I tell him everything.

"Oh. Wow. Huh."

"That's all you have to say? Ghost, I don't know what to do!" I wail.

"Do you like her?" he asks.

"Yes. No. Not romantically!"

"Go tell her that. Talk to her. It's clear you need to."
