Chapter 8
"So basically I'm here to throw all those thoughts in front of you guys."
Wendy and Juvia sighed. "What if you were the ones in Lisanna's position and you heard about us saying you're not yet over Natsu without any strong evidence?"
Levy shrugged. "I had to voice out an opinion. Besides, are you guys even my friends?"
"We are, but you have to take it slow with the accusing. Wendy and I both hate Lisanna but we don't come to that extent." Juvia crossed her arms.
"Okay, okay. I still need help with Lucy, though."
"Why? What happened to Lucy?" Wendy inquired, leaning towards Levy with a quizzical look in an attempt to make her answer immediately.
"She's not yet over Natsu." Wendy and Juvia were about to open their mouths to reply but Levy held out a hand. "Shush, lemme finish. This is a fact. No kidding. She told me that personally." In truth forced her to admit it... whatever.
"I see."
Levy nodded, an affirmative look crossing her face. "And I need you guys to lend me a hand. You know, for them to get back together. Lucy's been really depressed which is not a nice thing to see. I'm beginning to think that she had a fever because of a single heartbreak. Her flight towards Singapore is in an hour now but little did she know that Natsu already came back."
"She's lucky she's become sick today then because it's gonna be a big waste of time, not to mention money." Juvia remarked. "Wait, are her parents informed about that?"
Levy bit her lip. "Apparently not because of course they'd get mad. They'll not allow Lucy to skip school even if she's a bad ass."
"You just said ass." Juvia gasped in horror. "This is what Lucy does to you."
Levy rolled her eyes. "Get over it."
Professor Happy entered the classroom.
"Let's finish this later."

"We're going to kill her!?" Wendy exclaimed. "I'm very against that idea. Sorry Levy."
Levy rolled her eyes. "Stop overreacting. I said kill Lisanna's feelings for Natsu. Not necessarily kill her."
"We get it. However, the how question remains." Juvia leaned on a wall.
"That's the problem. And I'm gonna need your help."
Wendy slowly stepped back. "Is it okay if I exclude myself in this little operation? You see, you're letting a kid like me-"
"No." Juvia and Levy said in unison.
"Honestly," Levy stood up. "if you don't want to spend time with me anymore you can just say it straightforwardly."
"That's not it." Juvia blurted out. "We just don't want to be involved in a ruckus because there's a high possibility of us making the ruckus bigger than it already is."
Levy exhaled. "All I need is your help. Don't worry, I think I've thought of the safest and easiest way to fulfill Lucy's desires. We'll take it step by step."
"We're all ears."

Lucy woke up to the sunlight nearly blinding her and the birds chirping endlessly. It was a nice afternoon indeed but her situation wasn't. Her head pounded relentlessly and painfully; it felt as if someone was trying to crack her brain open.
The sleepiness she had didn't wear off though. That was proven when a ring made its way to her ears. Feeling nauseous, she pressed the 'answer' button, eyes closed.
"Hello?"
"You're still feeling under the weather, aye?"
Lucy wanted to throw her phone in anger. "F*ck you. I hate people who call me when I'm sick."
"Wow, it was nice hearing your voice too." The blue haired nerd grumbled. "Okay, if you don't want to hear news concerning Natsu then I'm done."
Lucy's headache seemed to have walked away in an instant as she sat up. "What news?" Levy did a victory dance inside her head.
"Oh, I thought you weren't interested and didn't want people calling when you're sick?"
"Levy, waste the time. Trust me you can win an award in the Oscars."
"Well, Natsu came back. He's in school earlier today."
By this, Lucy's headache completely disappeared. "Get out of here. Since when did he get back!?"
"Since today. Loki is here as well so... hope that you won't get sick again tomorrow."
"Man, I don't care about Loki." She responded. "I'm going there."
"Don't." Levy said with a laugh. "We already went home." Sorry... I have to lie.
"Oh, then I'm going towards Natsu's house."
"Uh-uh. In a minute you'll see me standing in front of your door. You're sick; you should rest."
Lucy couldn't help but glare at her phone. "You don't know what I can do, Levy."
"Same to you, Lucy." Levy retorted. "Rest easy."
The blond girl sighed, renouncing. "Fine, but tell me everything that has happened tomorrow."
"Gladly."
Meanwhile, Lisanna, Natsu and Bickslow were all seated in front of Erza. Natsu looked calm, Lisanna was visibly nervous and Bickslow had been frowning ever since he came in the Student Council Room because he knew he did nothing wrong.
"Are we gonna have a staring contest or-"
"Shut up, red haired lady. You don't know anything that has happened." Bickslow grumbled.
"I think I want to call Mr. Dreyar."
"Who cares? Care bears?"
Erza fumed and Lisanna stood up. "Let's chill. I know it's practically my fault."
The president's attention went to Lisanna. "Why so?"
Mirajane's sister started blushing profusely as she looked away. "It's a long and embarrassing story. Natsu Dragneel is my ex-boyfriend and everyone is still hung up over the fact that I loved him. Veraciously speaking I've moved on. I sought for him when he came back because I wanted help but of course everyone will think that I'll just try to get back with him for the nth time."
"Help with what?" Natsu spoke for the first time since he entered the room.
"Uh..." Lisanna bowed her head. "I want to ask you help with someone I currently like."
"I'll do it, but first things first. Who is that someone you fancy? Now you've poked my curiosity. I mean, you just said earlier that Bickslow is your boyfriend. You must be cheating."
Lisanna glanced around the room, feeling ashamed. "Secret."
"Who? I will not help you."
"It's Bickslow." She whispered inaudibly but with the air-conditioner the only thing making a sound, everyone heard it. Lisanna felt her heart drop as she covered her face. "Aw man, stop staring at me like I'm a criminal!"
Erza and Natsu bursted out laughing, clutching their stomachs in disbelief.
"Oh, my gosh." Erza breathed out, wiping a stray tear. "Funny."
"I-I'm not-"
"But I believe you." Natsu and Erza replied in unison. They shot Bickslow a fleeting look and just saw that he was already red.
"No comment?" Erza queried, amused. She then turned to Natsu. "What about you? Don't think that I'll let you off the hook."
"So I came back because of a certain someone..."
