Rey's POV

I slide my hand into Ben's and he opens the door for us into the crowded hallway.

It almost feels like people stop and stare at us, but in reality it's just Gwen, Hux, and Finn waiting for us. 

"Called it!" Gwen cheers and I blush. 

Attention draws to us and our hands and Poe pushing through the crowd away me. I sigh, but remember that this is my time. 

I smile down at our intertwined hands and then look to see Ben smiling at me. 

The bell rings and the crowd disburses but we stay in place watching our peers look at our hands then continuing their own journey. 

The late bell rings and we still remain. 

"We're missing class." I say. 

"Wanna go home?"

"Wouldn't your mom get mad at us ditching?"

"I can always send a text that you're not feeling well and that would give us both reason to leave." He convinces me. 

"Okay." I smile. "Let's do it."

A/N: Are y'all ready to hate me? I'm finishing this book! There will be Winter Formal and BAM it'll be done! Disney is keeping me sooooo busy, so that's my reasoning. I will be focusing on 'This Is Us' when I can, but I love you all and thank you to everyone for reading, commenting, and voting! This book was far more successful then I ever thought or hoped for.
