MM industries

Arjun wanted some time for preparing himself to face Manik. It was not easy for him too whenever Manik use to be around him both brothers would ignore each other's presence as much as possible either being at home or some other meets. But today they were going to be present in the same conference room fighting for the same deal. Arjun intentionally left the file in the car so that Aarohi would go n get it and in the meantime, he would have some time to calm himself and meet Shivansh.

He saw Shivansh outside the meeting room.

Shiv-" Arjun... Kahan tha tu yaar. Kabse wait kar raha hoon main. Chalo lets go inside, Mr Taneja will come in a while."

Arj-" Haan, woh Miss Aarohi files lene gayi hai. Usko aane do then we will head. *Shivansh just nodded his head* waise... woh (Manik) Kahan par hai?" He asked a bit unsure n looking here n there searching for Manik.

Shiv-" Woh kaun?? *Arjun just gave him a hard look which made Shivansh understood he was talking about Manik* ohhhhh Manik, woh Mr. Taneja ko welcome karne gaya hai. He will be bringing him here." Shivansh said looking at Arjun keenly to know what exactly is going on his mind but couldn't decipher what it was.

Shivansh murmured-" Huhh... samajh hi nahi aata in dono bhaiyon ka. Ek dusre ke baare mein puchte rahenge par samne aayenge toh ego ke chakkar mein kuch nahi bolenge."

In the meantime, Aarohi came and they entered the Conference room.

CONFERENCE ROOM

Everyone was present in the Conference room. There was a total of 5 companies who wanted this deal including MM industries and Arman Grp.

Arjun and Shivansh were greeting the other company members while Aarohi was just trying on her place doing last-minute checks as said by her Akdu Boss.

Aarohi-" Yaar!!! Aur kitne baar yeh Khadoos mere se files and presentations check karweyga Subhe se 10 baar check karwa chuka hai, itna toh Maine apna board exam ke papers bhi recheck nahi Kiya hoga complete hone ke baad. Huhhh! Wapas itne baar dekhke kaun sa mistake born ho jayega. Upar se main toh Abhi hi bore hone lagi. Meeting kab start hogi yaar." Aarohi was just getting impatient as she had nothing to do or talk with someone. She was roamed her eyes here n there when she saw someone entering the Conference room.

Aarohi-" Areee Nandini. Yeh yahan?" She whispered to herself as she was surprised to see her here but at the same time was happy. Though she wanted to shout n call Nandini but didn't do so. Still she waved a 'Hi' in her direction for Nandini to notice her.

Nandini also smiled looking at Aarohi and gave her a sweet smile mouthing a quick 'Hi'.

Manik addressed the Conference at the start when everyone was seated.

Manik-" Thank you, Mr. Taneja, for conducting the meeting in MM industries and I hope that the meeting goes smooth. To all my fellow competitors hope you all have no problem. If there is something you need then you can ask my PA, Miss Nandini Murthy she will help you. Mr. Taneja if you are comfortable then shall we start with the meeting?" He looked at Mr. Taneja who smiled at him and told everyone to proceed one by one. Here Aarohi looked at Nandini who was standing beside Manik as she got to know why was Nandini in the room.

3 presentations were done already. And now the last 2 were of the Malhotra brothers which went pretty well other than some hard stares and comments here and there. They took a small break after which they were going to announce who will get the deal. 

AFTER THE BREAK

"Good evening ladies and gentleman, it was a pleasure meeting you all, after my team went through the presentation all over again, I personally took the opportunity to go through them and I should appreciate everybody's hard work. But as you all know I can't give the deal to everyone and Tajena groups have always believed in delivering the best to our customers and for that, I need the best people to work with and I'm glad to announce we have the best with us, not just one but two." Mr. Taneja declared making the whole conference room to burst in quite murmurs amongst themselves. 

After hearing this Manik instantly looked up at Nandini who assured him with his eyes. and the same was the case with Arjun but he looked at Shivansh who also gestured him to be calm with his eyes. 

Their trance was broken with Mr. Taneja's voice 

"And without any further ado, the project has been bragged by MM Industries and ArMan industries!!" Mr. Taneja exclaimed happily making both the boys have a mini heart attack.  

They both got up and along with them Nandini and Shivansh too.

Mr Taneja-" Everyone else can you please give us a moment. It was great having you all here. I hope I will do some other project with all of you in the near future.  Right now I think I would like to have only the chosen companies with me in the room. Have a good day."

With this everyone else went out of the conference room leaving just Malhotra brothers with Nandini, Aarohi, Shivansh and Mr. Taneja in the room.

Arjun-" WHAT THE... How is this possible Mr. Taneja??" before Arjun could say anything Shivansh held his hand stopping him to say anything further.

Arjun looked at Shivansh who nodded him to calm down n not burst out.

Mr. Tanej-" Yes young man, do you have any problem?"

Arjun-" No Mr. Taneja. It's just that you had decided that you will be choosing just one company as your partner in this project. So how come now 2 companies? Don't you think you should think again regarding your decision." He said looking at
Manik who was trying to be calm but hearing Arjun just passed him the same hard look.

Mr. Taneja-" I know really well what I have decided Mr. Malhotra. And you both brothers are the best. I think collaborating with you both will give me more profit and increase our brand value than choosing any one of you." He said looking at both of them.

Manik-" But Mr. Taneja I don't think Mr. Malhotra is interested in collaboration with MM industries. And I can't work  with someone who does not have TRUST on me." Manik was looking straight in his eyes. While Shivansh and Nandini wanted to bang their heads somewhere while Aarohi was standing there confused about what was happening.

Mr. Taneja-" Listen to me clear you two young men. I will be signing this deal with both of you together or with none of you. So you both decide between yourself what is more important to you both, the deal or your ego. I will be giving you the time only till this evening. As I have my flight to N.Y. tomorrow in the evening. Before that, I want to discuss some things with you all. Let me know your decision. Have a good day." He said this and patted both their shoulders and left the room.

Shivansh gestured Nandini and Aarohi to leave the cabin and wait outside to which the readily picked up their stuff and left the CR.

Inside the Conference room

Arjun was standing at one corner and Manik on another. Both were glaring the respective walls in front of them. While Shivansh was standing in the middle of the room and swinging his head like a pendulum from right to left and left to right to look that these nutcase brothers.

Shiv-" Hello both of you. We are here to discuss about the deal. It's important for both the company so think wisely. And please keep your differences aside this time." He said to both of them trying to put some sense in their head.

Manik-" Ansh I'm ready for the company. And I never had a problem. It was Mr. Malhotra who has a problem with collaborating with me. So be it, I'm also not interested. Make him understand." Manik said without turning towards Shivansh.

Arjun-" What the hell does he mean that it's me who has a problem Shiv. And what is left to make me understand? Sab samajh gaya ho main. His tricks and his intentions." He said turning around looking at Shivansh.

Manik also turned hearing him again accusing him of something which he didn't do. Now he was in his monster mode.

Manik-" Mr. Malhotra, I think aapko apna brain clean karane ki zaroorat hai. Kuch aapke dimag mein kachra bhara hai. And that is why for every single thing you keep on blaming me. I have not done any wrong to you. Uss wakt bhi  nahi aur na aaj bhi. And about this deal, then I have worked very hard for it. And main iss opportunity ko jaane nahi dunga. Naaahhh! But main khud ki self-respect bhi stake par nahi rakhunga."  He said making himself very clear. While the anger n hurt in his eyes were showing the condition of his from within which Shivansh saw and he didn't want any Mahabharat right now so he tried to intervene.

Shiv-" Manik, Arjun,  calm down guys. Tum log jab dekho tab Mahabharat ke Duryodhan and Bheem ki tarah Kya ladne lag jaate ho. Conference hall hai yeh, koi mahabharat ke jang ka maindaan nahi. And please don't drag the topic some other tangent now. Yeh project tum dono ke liye important hai. So why fight when you both can work on it. Agar yeh project nahi Mila na then both the company's  reputation will be hampered." He tried to calm the two hotheads. And got relieved when he saw them thinking something.

Arjun- " Ek minute, tune Duryodhan aur Bheem kisko bola??? Aur Yeh Kya mahabharat story leke baithe hai tu?" He asked looking at Shivansh keenly.

Manik-" Haan wahi toh. Ansh kehne ka Kya matlab hai tera?? Tujhe Mr. Malhotra Duryodhan lagate hai?" He asked making a shocked face.

Shivansh was shocked looking at both the brothers. He was irritated with the brothers.
" Abey ooooo, mere itne lambe speech mein tum dono ko Duryodhan n Bheem samjh aaye. Woh baat nahi samjh aayi jo main batana chahta tha? We were talking about the Deal. That was just a comparison for what you both  were doing a while back."

Manik-" Come on Ansh, tu bol sakta hai that Mr. Malhotra is like Mahabharat ke duryodhan who gets manipulated by anyone. And doesn't have brain of his own. Sirf naam Arjun ho jaane se we he can't he like Mahabharat ke Arjun." He said looking at Arjun.

Arjun-" Oh really? Even you are an impulsive idiot like Bheem. Who only knows how to show his power. And never think."

Shivansh was just sitting on the floor in between them holding his head. Both the brothers were towering over him and glaring each other.

Shivansh thinking- * Kya se Kya ho gaya.... Kahan main Inn dono ko deal ke liye manne roka tha that and now they are fighting over which character of Mahabharat are they. Hadd hai.*

Arjun n Manik stopped glaring each other when they realized Shivansh didn't said anything from long. They together called him.

Arjun-" SHIV"
Manik-"ANSH"

which ultimately came together and Shivansh's whole name was heard.

Shiv-" Kya hai tum dono bhaiyon ka??? Haan ... matlab mere name ko aise 2 parts mein divide kiya hai. Aur itna zoor se Kya chilla rahe ho. Yahan niche hi baitha hoon main. Dono ke beech hamesha main pista hoon. Maine kuch nahi karna. Jao lado tum dono. Deal karni hai toh karo nahi toh bhadd mein jaao." He said making a sad pout and being irritated.

He just got up and was leaving the Conference room when he heard both the brothers voice.

ArMan-" It's a yes for the deal. We will do it."

Nandini was heading home driving her car. Though Manik tried stopping her and told her that he would drop her home bit she denied saying that he should go home n rest for a bit. Her work was still left as she had to do some feedback work from the finance dept. Of the company. So here she was an hour late than her usual home returning time.

She was listening to FM in her car humming the song and driving when suddenly her car was taken over by a car just some inches closer to hers. She saw the car was at a high speed as it zoomed pass her in a split second and the driver inside seemed to be either a dumbhead or drunk.

Nandini-" What is wrong with some boys nowadays, car aise chalate jaise koi airplane uda rahe ho. Khud ki chinta nahi hai toh at least dusron ka hi soch le. Thank God main Bach gayi, nahi toh aaj meri car aur main dono gaye the." She was having her self talk while again starting her car.

When she reached a bit ahead she saw the same car parked at the middle of the road and someone was shouting from inside the car.

Nandini-" Hadd hai, Ab Kya hua." She was constantly honking but that car didn't give her the way. She got out of the car in irritation and marched towards another car.

Reaching the spot, the thing she spotted was enough to make her blood boil.

Malhotra Mansion

Manik was constantly trying to call Nandini to know whether she reached or not. But she was not picking up the call only which was making him more worried.

Manik-" Dammit, Nandini pick up the call yaar. Yeh ladki mujhe daantti hai that i don't pick my call on time and now see, khud bhi phone nahi utha rahi. I hope yeh ghar pahoch gayi hogi." He again tried but it was only saying one thing-

"The person you are trying call is currently busy. Plz, try again later."

Manik just threw his phone on the bed and sat down with a thud holding his head.

"Kaha maine isse that Nandini let me drop you home. Baaki ka kaam kal kar lena. But nahiiiiii, Madam ko meri sunni hi nahi hai. 6 pm ko mujhe ghar bhej diya yeh kehke that woh khud 7 baje tak ghar pahuch jayegi. Aur ab dekho, 8 bajne ko aaye hai and uska ek call tak nahi aaya. Uugghhh." He again picked up his phone to call when

Ruhanika entered his room like a storm.

Ruhi- Maan bhai, Kya kar rahe ho aap. Chalo, dinner time hone ko hai and aaj toh ham sab saath me celebrate karenge aapka aur Bhaiyu ka success. Chalo Chalo, bhaiyu ko toh bol aayi ab aapko leke hi chalungi."  Ruhi held his hand and was dragging him with her.

Man-" Ruhi Chui, rukk... are I have an important call to make. Woh karke aaya hoon na. You go I will come." He tried releasing his hand from her hold but she just gave him a glare and held his hand more tightly and brought him out of the room.

Ruhi-" Yeh sab techniques purane ho gaye hai bhai try something new next time. Main kuch nahi sunnungi. You have to come and aaj dinner ham PURI FAMILY mil kar karenge." She stretched the words 'puri family'. Manik just sighed and walked with her downstairs.

While they came downstairs they saw some people were standing in the mid of the hall. Arjun was hugging a lady tightly with happiness. And another man was standing beside them. They were.......

Ruhi-" Bade Papa!! Badi maa!!! What a surprise." Ruhi ran towards the couple who turned towards her and smiled looking at her.

(Bade papa- BP, badi maa- BM)

BP -" Areee... meri gudiyaa aa gayi. Kahan thi aap? Aur batao kaisa laga hamara surprise?"

Ruhi-" It is superb Bade paa. Aur aap na bohot ache time par aaye ho. There is such a big news for you both. Aur woh hai..." before she could say anything further Arjun stopped her palming her mouth from the back.

Arjun-" Kiddo, bas kar. Kitna chapar chapar karegi? Bade paa aur badi maa ko freshen up toh hone de. They have just arrived from a long journey. Dinner ke time bolenge unko sab Hmm?" He said looking at her who turned towards him to only glare at him for palming her mouth. But then she understood and smiled sheepishly nodding her head.

Nyonika-" Didi, Aap aur bhaia fresh hoke aaiye. Ham dinner table par milte hain." She said politely while both of them them just ignored her.

BM-" Arjun, beta ham aate hai. Aapse bohot baatein karni hai hame. Aur Ruhi ne jo bola who bhi janna hai." She smiled at Ruhi and ruffled Arjun's hair who was backhugging her. 

All this while Manik was standing at a corner totally disinterested. As he never liked these 2 people and their behaviour towards his Mom.  He was trying to call Nandini but alas, she was not picking it up.

Here Nandini when reached the spot she saw an aged lady was lying on the road holding her knees and there was standing a guy with some of his friends and shouting at that old lady.

Guy-" Hey you, can't you see and walk? There is a Fucking footpath for you all to walk then walk there. Why you walking on the road, you dumbhead." He was constantly shouting and was going to pull her up when Nandini came by the lady's side and held that boy's hand.

Nandini-" HOW DARE YOU!!!!! How dare you push her? What is wrong with you. I have been noticing you for so long. First you were driving rashly on the road and I'm sure it would be you who did this. And instead of apologizing to Aunty, you are shouting at her. Such a mannerless person you are."  She was really angry and sat by that lady's side checking her wound.

Guy-" Hello you girl, it was this bloody oldie's mistake. Who asked her to walk in the middle of the road without seeing left n right? And you lower your volume. Don't teach me all this. And if you want to be mother Teresa then go ahead!!!" Saying this he started laughing along with his friends who were laughing n enjoying like some show was going on.

Nan-" You just wait n watch till I call the police n put you n your these chamchas in lockup under 'Drunk n drive case'. Wait a min. Saari akad nikal jayegi." Saying this was searching for her phone when she realised she has forgotten the phone in her car.

Guy-" Hey you Miss mother Teresa, you can't do anything to me. You don't know who I'm, and what my Dad and Chachu has. If I call him na then you will be behind the bars and so will be this oldie."

Nandini-" Ohhhh really, I know who are you. You are nothing but a rich spoilt brat. Who only knows to party and do all the wrong things and then saved from the power of their parents. But no, I'm not scared of any. And I will show you your real place." She was going to get her phone when the old lady stopped her.

Lady- "Beta, jaane de isse. Kyun bekaar mein insab mein pad rahi hai. Waise hi bohot raat ho gayi hai. Aur galti meri thi. Tu bhi jaa aur inko bhi jaane de. Main theek hoon." She pleaded in front of Nandini who just sighed and looked at the guy.

Nandini-" You Mr. Whoever you are, yeh matt samjhna that main darr gayi. Yeh toh tumhari kismatt achi hai that tum aaj inn aunty ke wajh se bach gaye. And a warning next time agar car chalani naa aati ho na toh doston ke saath aise bahar mat nikalna. Take a driver with you. Utna toh tumhare 'DAD' afford kar hi payenge na." Saying this she gave support to that lady and started walking towards her car.

When she was gone one of the guy's friend said-" Yaar, yeh ladki toh tujhe sunna ke chali gayi. Why you didn't tell her your name. Naam sunke hi darr jaati."

While the guy took out a cigarette and lit it.
