Bravery's POV

"Woah! Are you going to let us who set the whole cove on fire?" Tuffnut interrupted. I got really annoyed,"No, I was going to tell you what I had for breakfast this morning..." I said with sarcasm,"Of course I'm going to tell you what set the cove on fire!" Tuffnut now with a straight face saids,"Oh. Then go on with it. Don't leave us hanging." Grrr! I just wanted to beat the yak stuffing out of him! But I kept my cool and said,"Ok, and I had rotten fish for breakfast. The Dragon Hunters really need to update there menu."

  I raced to where my dad and I were going to watch the race. Lucky for me, he was already there,"Dad Dad! I need to tell you something!" He stopped me,"Not now Bravery, the race is about to start." My dad is just like me. Not a Dragoness, a Dragonair (No relation to the Pokemon Dragonair). He can change from haft-human haft-dragon, to complete dragon however, he prefers to be in dragon mode in case there's an attack. And good reason too because, it looked like there was going to be an attack in the near future! Very near!

  I looked down from the cliff that we stand that and, I could see Toothless at the starting line. The race was in a loop so the starting line was also the finish line. I could also see the other racers. They were doing something that would get my attention and, believe me it did but, not in the way they wanted. I groaned and said to myself,"Why can't they see that I'm not available. Why can't they go for Rainwalker or, Silverwind or even, Everkind. Those girls are available but, why me?" I couldn't stand always knowing there's at least ten dragon who want me as there mate. It's annoying.

I looked up to the top parts of the island and, I saw catapults loaded and ready to fire. I looked down at the race; the red Terrible Terrors flew out.(The race begins when the green Terrible Terrors fly out.) The yellow Terrible Terrors than flew out, and I looked up and saw Vikings ready to settle off the catapults, oh no, not good, I thought. Finally, the green Terrors flew out, and then we all heard a Viking yell,"FIRE!!!!"

  Balls of fire came flying at all of the dragons! Screeches of Natters, roars of Nightmares, growls of Gronckle, all trying to protect there homeland but a lass, the Vikings were simply too strong. My Dad and I flew down to the track yelling to everyone to run,"Go fly away Bravery! It's not safe for you!" My dad yelled. I yelled back that I can't leave him but, he was right. No Dragoness can survive this battle. I ran to Toothless, he was scared too.

  We both knew the night fury code. The Night Fury code was basically the rules that a night fury must follow through out its life time. One rule states that female Night Furies must fly away from the danger while, the males stay and, fight the danger. Which is a stupid rule in my opinion. Us girls can fight too! But, it was the the rules we live by, and we can't change them."Bravery before we split paths, I need to give you something." Toothless said.

   We ran to his cave to get what wanted to give me. The cave was dim and, he did even bother to light the torches on fire. There, he turned over a rock and, pulled up a small chest that was underneath. I opened it and found a purple amulet. I gasped,"Toothless! You got this for me?" He nodded,"It was supposed to be a surprise but, I guess it's a goodbye gift." He seemed disappointed. He didn't want to split up. I gave out a heavy sigh, turn into a dragon and said,"Listen, I don't like this as much you do but one day, we'll find each other again."

  I looked at him with deep eyes; I felt like I was going to cry. We moved in close and, let only our noses touch. I pulled away, took the amulet, and stopped at the doorway. I had one last good look at him,"Goodbye..." I said. I flew off. Never to look back.
