Julie's POV

"Fckin' hell!" Mam yelled as we hit a bump in the road. We were on our safari adventure including 4 other strangers joining us in this crazy, muggy, hot jungle ride

"Alright who wants to feed the lion?" The tour guide asked and my hand instantly shot up. Mam grabbed my hand and put it back down but I forced it back up

"Okay come up to the front" he said cheerfully

"Julie sit your ass down" Mam hissed at me, I reluctantly got up and made my way to the front of the non-door or windowed 4x4

"Okay she's very friendly, don't be afraid" he said helping me off the truck

"I'm not" I said smugly before turning around to see all the passengers and a very terrified looking Mam, Mum, and Lib looking out of the 4x4 watching me and the tour guide closely

"Okay here she comes" a female Lion appeared coming at us, it was half the size of me which was good meaning it wasn't too big. It came and healed in front of us, I cautiously bent down and began to pet it getting a purring noise in return

"She's so beautiful" I said sitting down beside her and continuing my bravery with petting her a little more aggressively

"Feed her little pieces at a time" he instructed me handing me the pieces of meats. I slowly brought the handful of meats to her mouth, she gratefully accepted them licking my hands clean making me giggle

"She likes you" he said giving her head a little scratch. After feeding her she got up to her feet me doing the same. She growled loudly making me take a step back afraid she would lunge herself at me but she did the total opposite coming over to me and rubbing herself against me before running off into the jungle. I could feel my heart thumping out of my chest. The second I got back into the 4x4 mam grabbed me pulling me onto her lap and kissing me all over my face holding me tightly

"You scared the life out of us" she said close to tears. I just hugged her back letting her calm down as I sat on her lap, I could feel her physically shaking

"Mam I'm fine" I whispered into her ear kissing her temple. I was about to get off her lap when she pulled me closer making me stay there

"No stay" she said I could hear her voice shaking. So I did what she wanted as long as she was happy. I held my hand out to mum seeing her a little terrified as well. She instantly took it kissing it a few times before releasing it allowing me to wrap my arms around Mam's shoulders. The whole safari ride consisted of me sitting on Mam's lap looking out the glassless huge open windows, getting a 'Bubba did you see that?" from Mam and "Bubba look how beautiful they are!" I felt like a little kid in their mothers arms. I felt like a child and I was really enjoying it, I was never treated like this as a kid and it was a nice change

Julie's POV

"Parasailing, parasailing!" I chanted as we walked on the dock awaiting our captain to setup the boat and take us on a ride

"If I fly away in that parasail I will sue you" Mam complained as we set off on the water

"Babe you're so dramatic" Mum laughed wrapping her arms around Mam's waist from behind as they looked out onto the water

"Hey" I whispered to Libby as I stood next to her on the other side of the boat. She turned around and wrapped her arm around my waist

"This is nice" she said leaning her head on my shoulder

"I really want to kiss you right now" I whispered to her

"So kiss me" she said looking at me, I quickly did a scan around the boat making sure no one was looking before I claimed her lips with my own

"You know this whole secret thing makes it more fun" I told her once we pulled away

"What you like the feel of someone maybe catching us in the act?" She said tickling my stomach making me squirm in her hold

"Yeah I do, don't you?" I asked

"Yeah I feel like a bad ass" she said puffing her chest out

"You're my bad ass" I said cutely rubbing my nose in her hair inhaling her scent

"No you're mine" she said stroking my bare stomach

"No-"

"Alright ladies whose up first" The captain said making Libby and I spring apart

"We'll go first" Mum announced taking Mam's hand and getting suited up with their life jackets. You could hear Mams screams throughout the whole island as they let the parasail shoot them up to the sky

"My mam is so dramatic" I said pulling Libby closer

"Come here let me sneak some kisses before they reel them back in" she said taking hold of my face between her hands as she kissed me deeply and passionately making me moan out in pleasure as her tongue entered my mouth

"Mm you're so good at that" I mumbled against her lips before claiming them once more

"Better not get too into that, might not be able to stop myself" she said pulling away just in time for Mam and Mum to be reeled back into deck

Julie's POV

"Julie.. pet!" Mam shouted into my cabana

"Bathroom!" I yelled back as I put on lotion after coming out of the bath

"Hey, can I talk to you for a second?" she asked nervously

"Yeah Mam what's up?" I said rubbing the extra lotion between my hands

"Come let's go for a walk" she said making me nervous suddenly

"Okay let me just tell Libby incase she starts to worry" I said walking passed her and out onto our lounging area on the dock

"Hey Lib I'm going for a walk with Mam, I'll be back later" I said kissing her forehead. I slipped on my shoes to meet Mam who was waiting outside the cabana for me.

"What's going on Mam?" I said as she took my hand and pulled me into her

"I'm nervous" she said letting out a shaky breath

"What are you nervous about?" I asked looking at her

"I want to propose to Kimba here... it's beautiful. I wanted to go to shops now to buy the ring for her" she said smiling

"Yeah?"

"Yeah. But I wanted your help" she said kissing my forehead

"With what?"

"I need you to help me setup the beach area where I'll be proposing to her" she explained

"It's going to be perfect" I said squealing out in excitement

"Do you think..." she trailed off

"Do I think what?" I asked

"Do you think she'd accept me proposal?" she said with worry spread across her face

"Mam that's the most daft thing you have her said" I laughed but she still didn't believe me

"Mam, Mum loves you. I have never witnessed or seen anyone look at someone the way Mum looks at you. It's as if she is looking at you for the first time, each and everyday that woman falls more and more in love with you. I see it, and I look up to both of you. I hope to one day find someone who will love me just as much as Mum loves you. And the way you both love each other it's like you're absorbing all the love in the world and taking it. Stop being selfish and share it" I said making a joke at the end to try and cheer up a crying Mam

"Come here you silly cow" I said taking a crying Mam into my arms

"I love you bubba" she mumbled against my shoulder

"Love you too Mam"

Julie's POV

Mam and I have been running around today trying to get everything perfect for tonight's proposal. Mam sent Libby and Mum to a spa day saying she wanted to "spend some quality time with me." The thing is We were spending quality time together even though our main focus was on tonight's important event

"Red or white roses?" I asked Mam as we stood in the flower shop

"Red" she said not even turning around to look at me as she spoke to the florist

"How many?" I asked

"All of them" she said finally turning around and giving me her attention

"Mam there's over 5,000 red roses! what the hell are you going to do with them lot?!" I asked wide-eyed

"There's never enough roses for me Kimba!" she said dismissively

Julie's POV

So this was the plan, everything was setup and ready to go. Mam rented out a private beach and we had made everything look perfect. A flower path leading to a candle lit romantic dinner on the water, Tiki torches lit up at every corner. Mam said she would take Mum on a walk leading to the spot she would propose to her, candles dug into the sand spelling out 'Will you Marry Me?' everything was going to be perfect

"Mam you look beautiful" I said taking in the sight of my stunning Mam. she was dressed in a long flowy one shouldered dress. Her tan making her have a beautiful glow, she had her hair done in curls and falling passed her shoulders

"Thank you bubba... I'm so nerves" she said taking in a deep breath

"It's going to go perfect! Don't be nervous" I said kissing her on the cheek

"Okay I'm going to pick up Kimba" she said patting down her dress before turning around

"I want details" I said showing her out of my cabana

"You got it bubba"

Cheryl's POV

"You look absolutely breathtaking" I told Kimba as she stepped out of our cabana looking amazing. She was wearing a strapless salmon colored summer dress that flowed to the ground. Her hair done in loose curls framing her face, her eyes sparkling and her smile.. oh her smile.

"Thank you baby" she said shyly blushing

"I got you a rose my love" I said handing her the white rose giving her a sweet kiss on the lips

"What's all this in aid of?" she asked raising her eyebrow questionably as I took her hand and lead us to our destination

"Why do you always think that way babe? I can't just treat me girl?" I said pretending to be offended

"Aw babe I'm just joking, thank you" she said giving us a kiss. I lead her to the loading docks to get onto our boat that will be taking us to our private island

"We're getting on a boat?" she asked

"Yeah" I smiled

"What are you up to?" she questioned

"Kimba let us just treat you tonight without your hundred questions" I pouted

"Okay fine" she kissed us before getting on the awaiting boat and helping us on. We stood at the front of the boat holding each other close, no words were needed, the silence was comfortable and all I could think was she was going to be mine forever after this night. She's my one, my everything, my one of a kind. I thank god she's mine, thanking the heavens for bringing us together allowing us to find each other. I kissed her silk bare shoulder, inhaling her sweet vanilla scent that I have come to love all these years.

"I love you" I whispered in her ear as I wrapped my arms tightly around her waist standing behind her

"I love you more" She said leaning back into me embrace. The boat came to a stop as we reached our destination

"Cheryl" she gasped taking in the beautiful setup

"I take it you like it?" I said my heart racing a million miles per-second

"I love you" she said as tears began to stream down her beautiful sun kissed cheeks

"Don't cry baby" I said wiping them away

"Come on let's enjoy this meal" I said taking her hand in me own and walking over to the dinner table. Pulling out her chair letting her take her seat before taking me own. Our waiter for the night came over and served us our beautiful surf and turf meal. Something we both like, a bit of fish for me Kimba and some meats for us

"How do you like it then?" I said as we began to eat our meals

"It's beautiful.. here have a taste" she said, although I had the same plate I loved it when she fed us

"It tastes so much better when you feed us" I said feeling like a shy teenager on her first date. She took me hand from across the table and kissed it

"This is perfect" she smiled

"You're perfect" I flirted back making her blush

"After all these years, I still manage to make you blush" I said sweetly making her go red

"Stop it" she laughed

"How about we go for a nice walk once we've finish this meal?" I suggested

"That would be lovely" she said letting me hand go and continuing her meal

Cheryl's POV

We walked hand in hand along the beach, pulling up our beautiful dressed up in one hand trying to avoid getting them wet

"The sunset is gorgeous" Kimba said looking off onto the water

"Yeah it really is" I said looking at her the whole time. She sensed I was staring and turned around looking at us with so much love and passion

"Were you talking about the sunset" she asked cheekily

"Not gonna tell" I winked

"I think you're more beautiful than any sunset out there" she said making us stop in our tracks to look at each other. She placed her hand on me cheek

"You think I am more beautiful than the sunset?" I asked passed the lump in me throat

"Any sunset, any place. The sunset is only beautiful today because you're standing beside me" she said making me laugh with a sob escaping me lips

"I love you, you know that right" she said takin me face into her hands

"And I love you" I said kissing her sweetly. So much love and passion was being transferred into this long passionate kiss. With just one kiss she would send me heart fluttering into a frenzy

"Come with me?" I said taking her hand and walking close to our destination but not close enough so I could tell her my speech that I had planned to the dot. But suddenly I began to speak from the heart and forgot about the speech I had planned

"Kimba" I said taking both her hands clasping them in me own

"Yeah?"

"I brought you here today for reason, not that you don't deserve to be treated and pampered like a right princess because you're me princess. I'm a little nervous so just let us say what we have to and then you can talk after yeah?" I said I could hear me heart pounding against me chest. She nodded yes allowing us to finish

"Kimba, I can look into your eyes and I easily see meself in them. That doesn't mean much to some people, but to us it's everything. It means I see meself in you; a part of you that I never want to let go of. Being in the same room with you makes me heart beat and buzz with excitement. I lose me breath, me voice is whisked away with every word that brushes past your beautiful lips. You take me breath away when we lock eyes. I can feel a jolt go straight into us, past me physical being... It's overwhelming and it belongs to you. Every year when valentines day comes, our anniversary or, birthdays I know I have to be better than the last year I'm always constantly worried that I'll pale in comparison to what you do for us. You don't know what you do to us Kimba.. You're me everything our hearts beat the same rhythm on the same time scale that are so much more than harmonies. And for that I love you. I want to freeze this moment and live in it forever, but I need to do something first" I said as both our faces were soaked with tears

"Kimba" I said

"Y-yeah" she cried. I took her hand and walked over a few steps to the candle lit ground reading out the words 'Will You Marry Me?'

"Will you do me the honor of being my partner, wife, mother of my children, my family, my everything, for the rest of me life?" I asked letting her hand go getting on one knee and pulling out the ring I bought her

"Will you Marry us Kimberley Jane Walsh?"
