"Sister?" I asked not believing what I was hearing

"Yeah your 11 year old sister" he explained

"And I'll meet her today?" I asked suddenly getting excited to have a sister of the same blood not a foster sister, but my actual sister that I will soon meet

"Yeah but later today when we get some ice cream" he said

"What's her name?" I asked

"Her name is Lisa"

"I can't wait to meet her" I said grinning like a fool

"Really?" he asked looking shocked at me quickly before returning his attention back on the road

"Yeah I have an actual sister" I said jumping in my seat

"Thank god for that! I thought you were going to react the total opposite when I told you" he said sighing in relief

"No I'm actually really excited! So what are we doing today?" Today just keeps getting better and better

"I was thinking we would go to this really cool go-cart racing track. They're professional go-carts and we can race each other" he said and I let out an excited yelp

"No way!! how fun!!" I cheered

"Good! you hungry?" he asked

"Yeah just a bit"

"Here I got us some snacks and sandwiches in the back. We need a good 45 minutes to get there, help yourself to them" and I did just that

Julie's POV

"This is so cool!" I said as Jason helped me put on the racing helmet

"Now you remember what the instructor said? right pedal is gas, left pedal is breaks" he told me

"Got it!" I said giving him a thumbs up

"We should get a picture!" I said pulling out my iPhone

"Here I'll have someone take it of us" he said taking my phone and giving it to one of the workers

"Let's give a thumbs up in the picture" he said wrapping one arm around my shoulder and mine going around his waist giving a thumbs up with our free hands

"There you go" the worker said handing me back my phone. I went onto Insatgram and posted it with the caption

"All geared up and ready to go! 👍🏁"

"Come on I'll help you get in" he said taking my hand and leading me to my sports cart. He buckled me up and patted my helmet

"Let your dad show you how it's done" he said before going over to his cart and strapping himself in. It was me, him and the racing track. The lights went from red to green in a matter of seconds, I stepped down on the accelerator and passed him with flying colors, he started to catch up pretty quickly zooming his way through the track, I pushed down harder on the gas and sped ahead of him. 1 lap, 2 lap, 3 laps we were on our last lap and Jason was ahead of me by a little. I began to catch up to him gradually. I passed him quickly and ended up on the finishing line making me the winner! I stopped the cart and hopped out, jumping up and down and fist pumping in the air

"I won!!!" I yelled out cheerfully dancing in my spot

"Yeah, yeah! I let you win" he laughed. A worker came over and handed me a metal for winning. I put it around my neck and looked at the gold circular metal piece that said "first place winner" and Jason got a silver metal that read "2nd place winner"

"How about some congratulatory ice cream!" I said smugly

"Come on you" she said putting his arm around my shoulder and leading us back to our car

"So... is Lisa meeting us at the ice cream shop or..." I trailed off

"My wife Beveryl is going to meet us there with her" he said taking me by surprise

"You're married?" I asked

"Yeah happily married for 12 years"

"Good for you!" it was then that I noticed he was wearing a wedding ring.. how did I not notice it? he drove us to a nice looking ice cream shop, where you put your toppings and all sorts. I was a little nervous to meet my little sister. What should I tell her.."hey I'm your sister?" no that's too straight forward "sup kid I'm your sis" no that's just weird

"Daddddy!!!" I saw a girl sprint towards Jason

"Hey Lees!" He said taking her in his arms

"I want you to meet someone special" Jason said after breaking away from the hug. I just stood there awkwardly

"This is your sister, Julie" she was a cute brunette girl with piercing blue eyes, she must get her eye color from her mum. She was close to my height just a little above my shoulders

"Hi" I said

"Hi, I'm Lisa" she said stretching out her hand for a handshake, but I pulled her in for a hug taking her by surprise

"Nice to meet you Lisa, I'm Julie" I said breaking away from the embrace getting a wide smile in return

"Come on girls let's get some ice cream" he said leading us to the table which sat a beautiful exotic looking woman, I'm guessing to be his wife. He went over and gave her a kiss before turning to me

"Babe this is Julie" he said

"Hello Julie I'm Beverly! nice to meet you" she said shaking my hand

"Same to you"

We had our ice creams while getting to know each other. To say that Lisa is a chatterbox would be an understatement. That girl can talk more than a damn radio host, she just kept talking on and on, damn girl was giving me a headache. I didn't like Beverly all that much to be honest felt like she was judging, and observing me more than getting to know me. We finished our ice creams and went our separate ways promising to see each other soon.

"Here Sport don't forget your backpack" he said handing it to me

"Bye Jason! I'll see you soon" I said shutting the car door and making my way to the front door letting myself in

"Mam!? Mum?" I yelled walking in

"In here!" I heard Mam yell from the front room

"Hey!" I said while smiling and going over to hug her. She pulled me to sit beside her wrapping her arms around me while I rested my head on her shoulder

"Did you have fun?" she asked me rubbing my back

"Yeah, Jason took me to a professional go-carting race track and I won!" I said showing her my metal

"Wow that's awesome babe!" she said looking at the metal

"And erm.. I have a sister" I said getting a shocked look in return

"Sister?"

"Yeah Lisa she's 11 I met her today. with his wife.. Beverly" I said rolling my eyes

"He's married too? wow good for him. Did you get on with Lisa?" she asked

"Yeah she was alright, but she was giving me a headache damn girl wouldn't shut up" I said making Mam laugh

"What about Beverly?"

"Yeah I don't like her all that much" I said

"Did she say something to you?" Mam said bringing out her protective side

"No, she was just staring at me the whole time like she didn't approve"

"If she ever says anything to you, you tell us yeah?" she said kissing my forehead

"I don't know who wouldn't approve of someone as beautiful, and smart as you" she said making me blush

"Thanks Mam" I said wrapping my hands tightly around her and sighing happily. We sat in silence watching the telle just enjoying each other's company, both our feet stretched out onto the coffee. I heard the front door open reminding me the Mum wasn't home, also meaning I was going to have it once she sees me

"Hey baby" Mum said coming over and kissing Mam passionately while I still had my head resting on Mams shoulder. I just covered my eyes cringing at the sight

"And you!" Mum said a little out of breath pointing at me

"Me?" I said biting my lower lip

"What did she do?" Mam asked before Mum could speak. I slowly tried to get out of Mams embrace but she held me tighter, figured she knew I was going to make a run for it

"Julie thought it would be fun to challenge the principle by getting caught countless amount of times with Jake going at it! in the school halls!! After Mrs. Jackson had given her warnings" I looked up slowly at Mam with pleading us not to yell

"Julie!" she gasped letting me go

"I thought you were classier than that" she added and I couldn't help but smirk

"Oh come on! it's not like we were having sex! I was giving him a friendly kiss" I said trying to justify my actions

"A friendly kiss is this" Mum said giving Mam a peck on the lips

"What you were doing wasn't a friendly kiss! this is what you were doing!" Mum said grabbing the back of Mams neck and kissing her fiercely and passionately on the lips. Diving her tongue in, Mam let out a moan making me scream

"Okay!!! OKAY!!" I yelled louder when they didn't stop

"Well that's what you get for going around school thinking it's okay to be sticking your tongue down jakes throat" Mum said getting comfortable next to Mam on the sofa

"Okay I get it! It's already bad enough I have to spend 2 hours extra after school for the rest of the week with Mrs. Jackson" I huffed remembering my punishment and going over to my backpack and pulling out the paper she gave me to get signed

"Here" I said handing them the paper

"What's this?" Mum said taking the paper and examining it

"This will teach you" she said grabbing a pen from the table and signing it

"Mrs. Jackson is obsessed with me, That's the only reason she wants me to spend extra hours with her" I said falling down on the sofa with a sigh

"Yeah that's exactly it" Mam said as she signed it

"Or MAYBE she just wants your autographs" I said seriously

"Julie get a grip pet!" Mam laughed

"You never know" I said

"Did you eat?" Mum asked

"I had a sandwich after school and ice cream about an hour ago" I said remembering my earlier activities

"So that's a no" Mum said getting up and heading into the kitchen. I got up and followed her with Mam behind

"Watcha making?" I asked siting on the stool

"Some pasta, and a salad" Mum said and I looked at Mam as Mum turned her back to open the fridge shaking my head disapproving

"Sushi" I mouthed getting a thumbs up from Mam

"Babe" Mam said going over to Mum from behind and wrapping her arms around her waist kissing her neck while talking to her

"Mmm?" Mam was good I'll give her that

"Why don't we go out for dinner" she said as she continued her assault down her neck putting her hands into Mums shirt. I wasn't sure if I should look away or not but I could learn a thing or two on how to persuade Jack in the future if I needed to

"B-but what about the pasta?" Mum asked in a daze

"What about the pasta?" Mam said kissing her on the mouth

"Okay... I guess I'll go get dressed" I said running out of the kitchen before I saw too much
