Julie's POV

"Jason can you help me bring down the canvas" I asked referring to the overly large painting

"Course" He said stepping out and holding it for me as we made our way to the front door. I knocked on the door and waited for my parents to answer. Mam answered the door

"Hey come in! What you got there?" she asked being her usual nosey self

"Jason painted a painting of me! and I also won at the art galary for having the most creative painting" I babbled away about my exciting day

"Sounds like you had fun" mam said with a knowing look

"A blast" I said and I turned around to take the painting from Jason and set it down

"Pick you up from school tomorrow?" he said reminding me about our conversation in the car

"Yeah for sure!" I said with a wide smile

"Hey! No I pick her up from school" Mam butted in

"Yeah but Jason is taking me out tomorrow after school" I said like it was obvious

"You have to do your homework Julie" Mam argued

"Yeah... I'll do it once I get home" I shrugged

"I'll have her do her homework when we are grabbing some ice cream" he said

"Yeah exactly!"

"Okay I'll see you tomorrow sport" Jason said ignoring mams behavior

"See you tomorrow" I said as he walked to his car. I shut the front door and walked into the front room mam following close behind

"You can't go making plans without me permission" she said seriously

"He's not going to bite me! I'm doing my homework, what more do you want?" I said getting annoyed

"I just don't want you to fall behind in your courses is all" she said sadly sitting down on the sofa beside me

"Is Mum back from rehearsals?" I asked trying to change the subject

"Aye she is, she's just having a shower" she said turning on the telle

"Okay well I'm heading to bed. Night Mam" I kissed her forehead and went upstairs to my bedroom

Cheryl's POV

I'm happy Julie is getting on with Jason, but I don't want her spending all this time with him. I'm supposed to pick her up from school, and take her out. Not him.

"Penny for thoughts" Kimba said sitting beside us on the sofa. I put my arm around her waist and leaned in resting my head on her chest

"What's wrong babe" she asked rubbing my back

"Julie is enjoying her time with Jason" I mumbled sadly

"Oh that's good then" Kimba said but I stayed quiet

"I'm getting the feeling you don't like that?" Kim asked and I looked up at her with teary eyes

"He's picking her up from school Kimba" I said and the first tear trickled down me cheek. She wiped them away for us and pulled us closer into her

"Aw babe, he just wants to spend some time with her. Why are you getting upset over it?"

"I'm supposed to pick her up, she doesn't want us to pick her up." I cried

"I know I'm being pathetic" I added

"Hey, hey! come on now baby! Are you getting jealous of their relationship? Julie loves you babe. Come on, you know she'd do anything for you" she said wiping me fresh tears away from me cheek once more

"I know, I'm just used to her being this excited about us picking her up from school and taking her out. I feel like I'm being replaced" I sniffed

"You're not being replaced! she is just getting to know her dad babe, Julie is a teenager. You know how girls her age can be, and she needs a father role model in her life" Kimba said

"I know I get it" I said not wanting to talk about it anymore

Julie's POV

"Julie.. babe wake up" I heard mams voice as she woke me up from my sleep

"Mmm" I groaned

"Wake up peanut" she said kissing my temple

"Morning" I said with sleepy eyes

"Good morning sweetheart, come on up you get" she said patting my backside. I slowly got out of bed and went into the ensuite to freshen up before heading into my wardrobe

"So what are you gonna wear.. you know with you going out with Jason after school" she said leaning on the closet door as I rummaged through my clothes

"He said he wanted to take me somewhere special, he also said he wanted me to meet someone" I shrugged pulling out a pair of shorts and a t-shirt along with a jumper

"Someone?" mam question

"Yeah I don't know who it is" I said changing while talking to her

"Huh.. wonder who" mam pouted

"Is mum taking me to school?" I asked pulling the jumper on

"No I am" she said

"Okay good because I miss you taking me" I said going over and kissing her cheek before pulling out a pair of shoes

"I'm sorry you know" She said following me back into my room

"About?" I said as I put on my shoes

"How I acted when I found out your dad wanted to see you" she said sadly

"It's okay. I get it, you were just being protective. Don't worry mam you will always be number one to me" I said, I could see she was getting insecure with mine and Jason's relationship. Maybe she feared she'd lose me in some way

"Really?" she smiled tearfully

"Really." I said giving her a much needed hug

"Come on, no need to get all emotional at 7:00am" I said wiping away her tears and kissing her forehead

Julie's POV

"Please text us when you get out of school Jules! and when you are with Jason" mam said for the millionth time

"I know mam you told me" I said as we stopped at a red light

"I'm just worried babe, sorry" she apologized

"It's okay I understand, but I already told you I'd text you"

"I'm sorry bubba! come here give us a kiss" she said cutely and I couldn't help but lean over and hug her and giving her a kiss on the cheek as I pulled away

"You know what we should do?" Mam said as the light turned green

"Hmm?" I asked

"We should go on a family trip soon! you have summer break coming up, Kimba is almost done with her tour, and I don't have anything until the winter"

"Where do you want to go?" I asked curiously

"Where ever you want to go. What's the one place you've always wanted to go?" Mam asked

"Don't know, haven't really given it much thought" I shrugged

"Never ever?" Mam asked in disbelief

"Well there was this one place I once saw in a magazine, and wished I'd go there one day" I said remembering looking at an abandon magazine on a coffee table and wished to one day escape to that beautiful island

"Oh go on! where?" Mam asked all giddy and excited

"It was called Bora Bora" I said making her smile widely

"That's settled then! will go there" mam said taking me by surprise

"Really?" I asked smiling

"Yes really! now go on, get to class!" I didn't even notice we had been parked outside the school

"I'm still a little in shock here!" I said not moving

"Well go be in shock in your class" She said unlocking the doors

"Love you!" I said smacking my lips against her cheek before running to class with a huge smile spread across my face

Julie's POV

I was in positive energy all day, I was so happy! Mam had made my morning, which caused me to be in a good mood all day

"How are you happy? Mrs. Peterson just announced we have a pop quiz!" My classmate Lana told me

"Who cares! Bring it on!" I said rubbing my hands together

"Stop being such a smart arse!" Carson shouted across the room trying to wind me up with his bullying

"Thank you! I take that as a complement cARSEon!" I shouted making the class laugh

"Alright class settle down! you may take your pop quiz and leave" Mrs. Peterson said passing out the quiz. I finished it within 3 minutes and turned it in, I flicked anyone off that had a remark about me turning it in so fast. It's not my fault they're stupid. I collected my things and left the classroom and headed towards my next course

"Babe?" Jake said coming out of his class

"Hey you!" I said cheerfully running over to him and jumping on him making him fall to the ground. I began to kiss him passionately on the school floor, luckily classes were still in session so the hallways were deserted

"Mmmm you're so hot" I mumbled against his lips before diving my tongue down his throat. His hands working their way around my body

"Miss Tweedy-Walsh!!!" I heard Mrs. Jackson shout across the hall. But I didn't give two sh!ts I just kept going at it with Jake, he tried to get me off him but I was having none of it

"Up you get!" she said taking me by my arm and pulling me away from Jakes lips

"And what do you think you're doing?" she shouted at me as Jake and I stood their looking guilty. But I was on a high and I didn't care

"I was just telling Jake something" I said with a smirk

"That's it! I've warned you about this kind of behavior in my school. go wait for me in my office" she said pointing her finger towards the end of the hallway

"Oh come on!" I huffed picking up my backpack

"Mr. Doris go to your next class" I heard her tell Jake as I huffed and puffed my way to her office

Julie's POV

"In my office" Mrs. Jackson said as she entered the school office. I got off my seat and followed her in

"What am I going to do with you Julie?" she sighed as I took my seat across from her

"Margret, can I call you Margret" I said cheekily

"Mrs. Jackson will do" she tried to hide her smirk but failed miserably

"Margret, you know I'm a straight A student and I take my courses very seriously. But as a teenage girl my hormones are everywhere, you've been a teenager before. You must know" I said leaning back in my chair trying to play it cool

"Julie using your course grades, and advanced academic skills to get away with things won't work with me" she said folding her arms across her chest and leaning back in her leather office chair. Almost as if she was challenging me. Two can play at this game.

"Margret, I like you. But your hard, stern outer shell doesn't fool me" I said smirking, matching her actions

"I like you to Julie! so much that I have to call your mother and inform her just how much I appreciate your behavior" she said flipping the situation and putting the phone on speaker as she dialed the number

"I don't think there's any need for that" I said getting up. I suddenly became nervous with each ring. Please let it be mam, please let it be mam. I kept hoping with each ring

"Hello?" fck! Mum answered

"Yes Ms. Walsh?" Mrs. Jackson said making me sit back in my chair and fold my arms across my chest furrowing my eyebrows together

"Yes, who am I speaking to?" Mum questioned

"This is Principle Jackson calling from Kelmscott highschool" she informed her

"Oh god what has she done this time" Mum said and I can just picture her rubbing her temples as she sighed down the phone

"I have told Julie countless amounts of times that I do not tolerate students going down each other's throats in my school. I think Julie took this as a challenge to see how many times I can catch her with Mr. Doris in my hallways" Mrs. Jackson said looking up at me with a smirk and I just scowled at her. I was in for it this time

"Is that so? is Julie sitting next to you Mrs. Jackson?" I shook my head vigorously begging Mrs. Jackson not to say yes

"As a matter of fact, yes she is. Would you like to speak to her?" She asked cheekily winking at me

"Please"

"Julie your mother would like to speak to you" she said as if it wasn't obvious. I walked over slowly and took the headset taking the phone off speaker

"Hey mum! how are you? how is your day going?" I said in a cheerful tone

"Cut the crap Julie! did I not teach you better than to do that kind of stuff in school!!!" she snapped down the phone

"But m-" she cut me off

"Don't but mum me! Do you realize how embarrassing it is to get a phone call from your principle telling me that your daughter is going at it with her boyfriend!? in the school halls!!!!" she yelled and I had to take the phone away from my ear from her screams blaring through the speaker

"Mum it wasn't even like that!" I tried to argue

"I'm sure it was more than just like that! Control your hormones Julie!! I will be having a talk with you when you get home young lady!!" she said before shutting the phone in my face

"Did she just shut the phone in my face?" I said looking at the phone in disbelief. Mrs. Jackson took the phone from me and put it back on the speaker mound

"Please have a seat Julie" she said pulling out some paper work

"I can't believe she shut the phone in my face" I said in a whisper. Speaking more to myself than Mrs. Jackson

"Miss Tweedy-Walsh you will be coming to my office everyday after school for this whole week" she said not looking at me while writing

"Wait! what!?" I yelled

"You will be staying with me after school for 2 hours after academic courses are over" she said finally looking up at me

"What for!? you already called my mum!"

"Did you think I was letting you off that easy" she smirked

"I can't even believe this!" I huffed slouching in my chair

"Take this paper with you home and have both your parents sign it and return it to me tomorrow morning" she said handing me the sheet if paper. The bell rang indicating school hours were over

"You're dismissed. See you tomorrow Julie" she said with a smirk. I couldn't help but shake my head and smile back at her. I stood up and outstretched my hand for her to shake it

"I look forward to it Margaret" I said cheekily shaking her hand and heading out of the office and out to the school parking lot. Suddenly getting flashbacks of my kidnapping I stood close to the school doors and waited for Jason to come pick me up.

"Sport!! over here!" I heard him shout as he pulled up in his sports car. I speed walked to his car and hopped in quickly. Everyone's eyes on Jason's car

"Hey sport! how was school?" he asked

"Good yeah! I'm excited for today!" I said cheerfully before pulling out my phone

Me: Hey Mam Jason just picked me up! Love you xx

I think she was waiting for my text because she replied instantly

Mam: Okay sweetheart have fun! See you later! Love you too bubba xx

"I want you to meet someone today" he said

"Yeah whose that?" I asked

"Your sister"
