Part 198
Authors POV
The atmosphere in the delivery room suddenly changed, Kimberley was growing angry with her wife - it was hard for her to speak her mind, she was feeling weak and all she could think about in this moment was 'Get this fcking baby out of me' so instead of shouting she mumbled her words
"Don't you dare speak to her like that" She whispered, her eyes were half shut - half opened. She couldn't ever remember a time being so useless, she had sacrificed herself and body to bring another life into the world. She never did appreciate what her Mum did for her, never took it into much thought what pain her Mum went through. She mentally told herself to thank her Mum once she was out of here
"She needs to learn! You see what she just did? She didn't even fcking fight to stay in the roo-"
"Stop trying to change her" Kimberley took in a deep breath, her lips growing dry from so much intake of oxygen - licking her lips and moisturizing them before speaking again
"Stop bullying her" She said, Cheryl took in the words of her wife. 'I'm not bullying her' she thought, she was just trying to help Julie - she would get nowhere in life with that weak attitude. Cheryl pondered for awhile but was brought out of her thoughts as a scream escaped her wifes lips
"Cheryl!! It fcking hurts! It hurts!" Kimberley cried through her screams, she thought the Epidural would numb her through all the stabbing pain coming form her lower abdominal - she thought wrong. The midwife came in just in time, followed by the Doctor
"One last check... We're ready" She spoke to the Doctor, he stood there for a few minutes examining Kimberley's grown baby bump
"Karin, did you not pay attention to Mrs. Tweedy-Walsh's bump shape?" He sighed, he brought his hands down to Kimberley's stomach - twisting and turning it. Suddenly Kimberley's motherly instincts kicked in
"What are you doing!?" She snapped, she pushed his hands away as he went to touch her again
"Ma'am the baby has turned during the break of your water, we need it back to its position! Otherwise we'll need to perform an emergency c-section" He informed her, she didn't know why she began to cry; all she could do was pray that nothing would happen to Isabella
"We'll need to go another route with things" He spoke to the midwife, taking his seat between Kimberley's opened legs
"I'm going to need you to push once the contraction comes through! Don't push any other time" He guides her through the process, everything became all so real - Cheryl was stood by her wifes side, whispering encouraging words into her ear. The first contraction came through and Kimberley was screaming her lungs out
"And again!" He said, getting another scream - Kimberley's face was growing red with pain, her tears flowing freely down her cheeks; sweat coating her face and drenching her hair
"Hold it!" The doctor said, Kimberley was going to do anything and everything to get this baby here, she needed to listen to the doctors words even if she couldn't tolerate the excruciating pain
"Forceps! We're going to need to the forceps!" The Doctor spoke to the midwife, his voice stayed in a calmly matter the entire time. Kimberley was thankful for that, if she had noticed a slight panic on the doctors end she would have lost it completely
"You'll feel a little pressure" He said, sticking in the forceps through her center; he worked the forceps inside of her getting baby Isabella into the position needed for a successful birth. It was definitely more pressure than she hoped for, but she took the pain - anything to get this over with.
"I'm never doing this again" Kimberley cried, Cheryl doesn't remember having trouble with Julie's birth - she didn't want to think about it too much, she knew if she did she'd breakdown. She remembered having held Julie in her arms and within minutes she wasn't there anymore - she was in the arms of the social worker
"You've got this baby" Cheryl spoke past the lump in her throat, she wished it was possible to take the pain away, to be in Kimberley's position; she couldn't take the sight of her wife crying out in pain.
"Are you ready?" The Doctor asked, Kimberley in took a deep breath - ready to get Isabella out safely. Another contraction came through and Kim was fighting it with so much strength - she didn't know where all this sudden durability came from. Maybe it was the thought of finally holding her baby in her arms. So she pushed and pushed until finally the crying of her little girl filled the room - sending her into tears
"Would you like to cut the umbilical cord?" The doctor asked Cheryl, she was in floods of tears too - bringing her shaky arm over and accepting the shears. She cut the cord and watched as Isabella was brought over to her wife. Taking in the sight of Kimberley's exposed chest rising and falling, tears streaming down her cheeks. It was a moment she would never forget
"She's so b-beautiful" Kimberley cries, and she really was beautiful. She inherited the perfect pout Kimba had - Cheryl couldn't wait to hold her in her arms. The midwife took baby Isabella for her clean up and check up - making sure she was at her healthiest
"You did amazing baby, I'm so proud of you" Cheryl held her wife's face in her hands - stroking her cheeks and wiping the falling tears. They were both a mess and the pain of the labor soon subsided out of Kimberley's body - she suddenly forgot all about her labor pain once Isabella was lairs against her chest

Julie's POV
"She's given birth to a healthy baby girl" The nurse informed us, we were laughing and crying as we stood in the middle of the hospital corridors - I was a big sister
"Can we go in?" I asked hopeful, she nodded with a big smile - I ran, I ran so fast finding myself in Mum's arms; crying out in happiness.
"You're happy? I'm happy too" She chuckled weakly, her arms growing tighter around my body - pulling me closer to her. I was practically laying on her - inhaling her motherly scent
"W-Where is she?" I sniffed, lifting my head out of her neck - she smiled sleepily wiping my tears away
"She's just having her checkup" I could feel Mam's eyes on us, I chose to ignore her completely - I didn't appreciate the way she had been treating me lately. Maybe staying away from her will make this situation better
"I can't wait to meet her" I whispered, snuggling back into her arms
"Get off your Mum! She's tired and you laying on her like that won't do her any good!" Mam said, I hid my face into the crook of her neck - I could feel Mum's arms tighten around me. She wanted me to stay where I was, she wasn't bothered by my clinginess and I was thankful for that
"Cheryl leave her alone" Mum said, her voice was weak and I knew she was exhausted. Who wouldn't be after pushing another life out of you
"Look whose come" Mum whispered in my ear, I looked up seeing the midwife make her way over to us with baby Isabella. I sat up from my position, taking my seat beside Mum on the bed
"Would you like to hold her?" The midwife asked me, I nodded my head shyly - allowing her to put to Izo in my arms
"She'll need to be fed soon" She spoke to Mum, I took in her beautiful face - she was a mix of both my parents. She had Mum's pouty lips and dark green eyes, her little barely there hair was blonde as well. Babies change as the grow, she might grow up looking more like Mam than Mum - but right now, she was Mum's twin
"She looks just like you" I spoke softly, Isabella was so peaceful that you couldn't raise your tone - you just couldn't.
"Are you ready for the feeding?" The midwife asked Mum, I handed the baby back over to Mum watching her take Mum's mound into her mouth - she took like a duck to water. I had never seen something so angelic in my entire life
"Hey babe, do you want me to get you something to eat? You haven't had a meal in about two days" Libby asked thoughtfully, I smiled at her with a loving sparkle in my eyes - it was soon broken by Mam's annoying voice
"What? Did you forget to eat again? Do you need to be breastfed as well?" She said with a tone a venom
"I'll be in the canteen Mum" I kissed Mum's cheek and took Libby's outstretched hand - walking hand-in-hand
"I think it's all an act" Libby said, taking a tray and loading it with anything her hands could grasp
"No.. She's being a total b*tch" I sniffed, I was upset with myself - I was constantly getting emotional, and nobody was worth my tears
"She started acting like that ever since your fight" She said, I suddenly remembered the state I was in - getting insecure at people's stares. I hid my face into the side of Libby's arm as she continued to put food on the tray
"Come on, will sit somewhere private" She said, paying for the meal and walking us over to a secluded area
"Baby, come sit here" She patted the seat beside her, once I took my seat - her arms went around my waist pulling me in closer to her
"I think you should tell her to fck off" She whispered in my ear, I lay my head against her shoulder; eating the meal she had put for me
"Fck off?" I questioned, I wouldn't want to disrespect Mam - but she's been nothing but horrible to me
"Fck off."
