Julie's POV

"What should I wear!?!" I said running around my room like a crazy person trying to find the perfect outfit for my date tonight with Jake

"What about this?" Kim asked holding a yellow dress up

"I didn't even see that" I laughed going over. It was a yellow dress that flowed just above the knees it had a little yellow strap going around the middle that accentuated my waist

"Let me try it on" I said going to the bathroom and changing into it. I twirled around in it making it looked like a flower blossoming. I came out of the bathroom and showed Kim

"That's really beautiful on you sweetie" she said with a smile I couldn't quite read

"Thank you" I said shyly patting down my dress

"Come here let me do your hair" she said motioning for me to take a seat on the vanity table

"How do you want it?" she asked me through the mirror

"I don't know, do it how ever" I said and she looked at my hair a bit before she went to working on it

"I'm here! I'm here! sorry I'm late fcking manager wouldn't let me leave until I finished the fcking last damn song!" Cheryl rambled as she came in through my room

"It's okay" I said smiling finding it cute how mad she was for being late. For me. She was mad because she wanted to help me get ready and was afraid she wouldn't make it on time. For me. It was still weird believing someone actually cared.

"Aw babe you look beautiful in that" she said and kissed me on my forehead

"Thank you" I said blushing

"Hey baby" she said to Kim giving her a kiss and she turned back to me pulling a chair to face me

"Let us do your makeup" she said pulling out the the contents from the drawer and began to make me look pretty.

"Can't wait for you guys to hear me new music!" Cheryl went on to talk about her day and I zoned out thinking about what Jake has in store for out date.. I hope it's not crazy cheesy maybe will do something fun? he seems like a fun lad, surprisingly I'm very aware that I act myself around him, no walls, no boundaries.. well maybe some but I feel like I don't need to have a filter when I'm around him

"Done" Cheryl said clapping her hands taking me out of my daydream

"Wait don't move, I have one more curl" Kim said making me stay still

"Okay have a look" Kim said putting down the curling iron and giving me a quick spray of hairspray. She did my hair in endless loose curls and took two ends of hair from the front and tied them to the back but braided two flower strings with it. I felt. Pretty.

"Do you like it?" she asked looking at me I nodded shyly

"Yeah it's nice" I said not believing that's me

"Oh I almost forgot I got you perfume!" Cheryl said pulling out of what looks like an expensive bottle

"Miss Dior" she said giving my two sprays on my collar and one on my wrist telling me to rub them together

"Smells good" I said sniffing my wrist

"It'll smell even better once it sets in" she said pulling out her phone

"Go on stand up so I can get a picture of you's" she said taking a minute to setup her phone. I've noticed she had some trouble with technology

"Kim get in the picture! I don't want to look like an idiot" I said grabbing her by her wrist and pulling her into me. I hugged her around her waist and we both smiled at the camera

"Aw that's cute" Cheryl said looking back at her phone. I went over and stood by her as she posted it

"My favorite girls👭💇💋💌"

The bell rang throughout the house

"Oh my god! he's here! I still need to put my shoes on!!" I said running to the shoe closet

"We'll go answer it" Cheryl said and they left going down to answer the door. I put on a pair of brown sandals that had straps going all around the foot. They looked nice with the yellow dress. I stepped out of my room and stood at the top of the staircase and Jake was at the bottom speaking to Cheryl and Kim. He heard me coming down and he turned around smiling like a fool. I walked down and gave him a hug

"Hey you look beautiful" he told me. He was wearing a pair of nice denim folded a bit at the bottom with a nice pair of black oxfords and a blue button up topped with a black cardigan

"You don't look so bad yourself, you clean up pretty nicely" I said making him laugh

"Oi watch it other wise I won't give you the chocolate bouquet I got you" he said revealing the huge Cadbury chocolate bouquet I started laughing

"I didn't want to be so cliche and get a bouquet of flowers for our first.. date" he said shyly

"That's perfect" I said taking them from him

"I know someone will love this more than me" I said looking over at Cheryl and she smiled and nodded in agreement with me

"Well we better go" he said taking my hand. I handed the bouquet to Cheryl

"Have her back by 11:00pm" Kim said

"Of course" he said

"Have fun!" Cheryl said before we shut the door

"Where we going?" I asked as he opened the passenger door for me to hop in

"You'll see" he said going over to the drivers side

Julie's POV

"The arcade?" I asked with a huge smile

"What did you expect? a romantic night out on our first date? get real" he said jokingly as we walked across the street to the huge building that was every teenagers dream

"No it's perfect" I said looking at him with a shy smile

"Well come on then" he laced our fingers together and we ran to the arcade laughing like idiots

We were more like children getting tokens and tickets. Playing and rooting each other on, this was perfect

"I haven't laughed this much in... well never" I said while laughing and he joined

"Come on let's go to the photobooth" he said with our hands together we walked over to the photo booth and sat down on the seat

"Okay pick a border" he said as we flipped through the many styles

"Oh that ones cute" I said picking the one that had hearts around it

"Hearts aye?" he said with his eyebrow raised

"Or maybe we could get the bestfriend one" I said watching his face fall

"I'm joking you loser, go on put the hearts one" his smile returned to his face and he put his arm around me

"Silly face at first" I said we made a ugly face, then stuck our tongues out, we looked at each other and leaned in slowly and our lips touched we kissed each other softly at first and the kiss grew into hunger, his tongue dived into my mouth softly he wasn't forcing it down he was gentle our tongues danced together in such sweetness I thought I could pop. We pulled away and leaned our foreheads together

"Be mine" He whispered I stroked his cheek sweetly smiling at him and gave him one more peck on the lips

"I already am" I said and he pulled me into a heartwarming hug

"Come on let's see the pictures" I said getting out of the photobooth and looked at the picture. It was almost like a film it started with the ugly face, then poking our tongues out, and one just looking at each other, then the last one kissing.

"I like them" he said looking at the two sets of pictures

"I'll take one and you can have the other" I said taking one out of his hand and putting it into my small brown cross body purse

"You hungry?" he asked as we left the building with our fingers laced together

"Starving" I said leaning my head on his shoulder

"There's a really good pizza place down the block? you up for walking?" he asked

"Sure why not" we made our way down the streets laughing about how silly we were tonight. I liked him. I really liked him. And he was mine.
