Julie's POV

"You going to change?" Kim asked as she continued to chop the salad

"Yeah just a second" I said rummaging through the fridge

"Cheryl...." I said looking at her with narrowed eyes

"Yeah....." She replied in the the same tone

"Where's my Curly Wurly?" I asked crossing my arms across my chest

"Curly Wurly?" she asked trying to play dumb and Kim just watched us with amusement

"I had a Curly Wurly hidden in the fridge.. now it's either you ate it.. or a ghost, which ones it going to be?" I asked tapping my foot on the ground impatiently

"Speaking of ghosts I actually have a funny story--" she said and I cut her off

"I'm going to kill you" I said running at her but Kim stopped me in my tracks and held me by my waist

"CHILDREN! I have bought a box of Curly Wurlys in the cupboard now.. you go and get changed" she said to me and Cheryl stuck her tongue out to me

"Can I have a chocolate first" I asked innocently

"You can have two if you both stop bickering over chocolate" she huffed going over to the cupboard grabbing the box and rewarding me with 2 candy bars. I skipped out of the kitchen happily

"Thank you!!" I yelled out going up the stairs tearing open the wrapper and eating it up. After finishing the chocolate bar I went over to the wardrobe room and pulled out a white flowy laced dress that stopped just above my knees and had thick straps. I wanted to make a good impression, I paired the dress with tan flats. I did my hair into a sleek ponytail and curled the ends. I put diamond studded earrings, and also a silver bracelet that Cheryl bought me with charms. I did my makeup simply just for my age. I went back downstairs and in through the kitchen, this being the place that my family is constantly in.

"You look beautiful babe" Kim said making me blush a little

"Yeah I like your hair like that" Cheryl said twirling the end

"Thank you" I said shyly smoothing my dress out. The door went letting us know there was someone at the door

"I'll get it" Cheryl offered and left to answer it

"Don't be nervous they'll love you" Kim said and I went and stood by her watching as she platted a platter of dried meats and cheeses as an appetizer. I heard some laughter and chatter get closer and closer. And my heart rate sped up. I clung onto Kim's shirt from the back needing to feel closer to her and I think she felt my nerves she finished plating and put her arm around me pulling me closer to her side

"Kimmmmm!!" a red head yelled coming in shouting and I let go of Kim knowing the woman would want a hug. I went and stood by Cheryl and she held me close to her

"Nicola! how are you?" Kim asked as she hugged her

"I missed you!" Nicola replied after letting go

"Same babe! so glad to finally see you!" Kim replied and Nicola turned around looking at me

"And whose this one?" she asked with a smile

"This is-" the door went again

"Sorry one second I'll go and answer the door" Cheryl said kissed my head and leaving the room once again. Nicola just looked at me curiously as if she was trying to figure out who I was, I smiled awkwardly. Cheryl came back in with an overly loud short blonde haired woman and a long legged chestnut blonde women with an Irish twang

"Kimberley!" they both squealed going over and hugging her and doing the same as Nicola just looking at me with confusion

"Whose this beauty" Nadine asked

"This is our daughter" Kim said standing beside me and Cheryl on the other side I just smiled like a fool

"Now... I don't know if you both know but I don't remember either of you having a pen*s" Sarah said making me burst out with laughter and getting a disapproving glare from both Cheryl and Kimberley

"That's a story for another time" Cheryl said.. Making me a little curious. What story.. There isn't really a story

"I was in the foster system. Joan found me on her lawn unconscious one night and took me into her home. Cheryl took me back with her to London. Not much of a story." I said receiving shocked looks from all three girls

"Not a story at all" said Sarah with a laugh

"You girls hungry?" Kim asked trying to change the subject

"Starved!" Nicola said

"I'm fcking thirsty! where's the alcohol!" Sarah said Cheryl and Kim both looked at each other and rolled their eyes

"So what's your name sweetie?" Nadine asked as the rest occupied themselves

"Julie" I replied

"Pretty name for a pretty girl" she said making me blush

"Thank you" I said feeling a bit awkward suddenly

"How old are you?" Nicola asked as she sipped on her glass of wine

"15" I replied bluntly

"Do you like staying with Cheryl and Kim?" Sarah Asked and they all surrounded me in a circle. I suddenly got flashbacks

"Loser girl" one girl said that was head of the squad. I turned around

"Who said you're allowed to step on our grounds" another girl said and she shoved me back a little making me stumble backwards

"Did you ask permission you ugly sh*t!?" another one came and they surrounded me in a circle and began to beat the crap out of me. As if I was a punishing bag they were going at me until everything went black.

"I um- I" I said in a frightened tone. The sound of my voice cracking. I felt the urge to burst out into tears

"Will you lot leave her alone" Cheryl said breaking the circle and shooing them away from me. I felt like I could breathe again

"You okay?" she whispered to me and I nodded not very convincing

"Come on guys let's go outside" Kim said leading the way out to the back garden. We had setup the barbecue pit and the plating along with the cutlery. Food was placed out along with drinks and good music flowing in the background. I suddenly felt at ease once I took a seat on the garden patio table set. Kim came over to me and placed a kiss on my forehead before she took a seat beside me, followed by Cheryl.

"Girls Jules is having an Art Fair this Saturday!! I want you's all to come" Cheryl said making me blush

"Aw we'd love to" Nicola said and getting agreeing nods from the rest of them

"You guys don't have to, it'll probably be boring anyways" I said

"It's okay we like boring" Nadine said making me laugh

"Okay let's get barbecuing" Kim announced. The girls seemed nice, they were easy going and enjoyed the simple things. Like this for instance just each other's company, privately, and away from the cameras. They could be themselves. Sarah seems like the crazy type or I think that's just her personality because she is all over the place. Nicola is very sweet and seems a bit shy until tougher a few drinks in her, Nadine just seems cool with her amazing figure god! how can one person have such stunning legs like that? the food was cooking and everyone was enjoying themselves

"Can I have a sip?" I asked Cheryl as she was drinking her red wine

"Are you forgetting how old you are?" she asked with a raised eyebrow

"Aw come on it's not like I'm going it outside of the house!" I pouted giving her my best puppy dog eyes

"Oh go on" she said handing me her glass. I smelt it before taking a swig of it

"Aghhh whys it so sour" I said making a funny face

"Excuse me! and what do you think you're doing" Kim snapped taking my glass of wine from me

"I just wanted to try it" I shrugged

"And what's next? you gonna wanna try cigarettes? then next thing I know I'm going to be catching you smoking drugs!" she said throwing her hands everywhere as she spoke

"That's a little far out don't you think?.. I just wanted a sip! god" I said turning my back to her and sitting in my seat properly

"Lighten up Kimbers! it's not like she's sneaking a bottle of wine up to her room" Sarah said trying to defend me

"No she's not you Saz" Kim said making everyone laugh but me

"Come here babe" Cheryl instructed for me to sit on her lap. I went over to her and she pulled me down setting me on her lap and wrapping her free arm around my waist. I rested my head on her shoulder loving the feel of our closeness

"Kimba was just being motherly" she whispered in my ear

"I get the feeling she doesn't trust me all that much" I said in a whisper so that she could only hear me. The rest of the girls were laughing about god knows what

"She loves you, She just cares and worries about you" she explained and I just stayed quiet and snuggled further into her. I took my phone out and decided to go on Instagram

"Oh my god! look how many followers I have!" I said showing Cheryl

"What are you on about?" Sarah asked

"Instagram, I made one yesterday and I already have over a 100 thousand followers" I said looking over all the likes and comments I received on my picture

"That's more than my lot" Sarah said

"Mine too" Nadine said agreeing with Sarah

"Here let me get a picture of you and Chez like that" Kim said and I handed her my phone and got comfortable in her lap and threw my hands around her neck. Cheryl placed her wine on the table and wrapped her arms tightly around my waist pulling me closer

"Say cheese" Kim said happily

"Cheese!" Cheryl and I said at the same time and Kim snapped the picture and handed me back my phone

"Aw that's cute!" Cheryl said examining the picture

"Is it okay if I post it?" I asked her

"Course" she smiled and I went and filtered the picture and posted it with a caption:

"So much love in one room 💓👭"

I put my phone on the side and just thought about how crazy my life has become. One day I was in a foster home where they beat me and raped me next thing I know I am living in a home where they love and care for me. Real love not the type where they have to fake it in front of the social worker. The type of love that is overwhelming sometimes.
