Julie's POV

"Nana!!" I cried out as I ran straight into her awaiting arms; I've missed her like crazy. She held me longer than needed. She soothed me, rubbing my back whispering in my ear; telling me how much she loved and missed me

"Missed you too Mam, we're still here ya'no" Mam said sarcastically getting Nana to release me

"Nana, this is Sophie" I sniffed picking her up and resting her on my left hip

"Don't be shy Soph, this is Nana Joan" I introduced them. Things have been looking up ever since my confession to my parents, I was finally starting to see the positive in all of this

"How old are you pet?" Nana asked her as Sophie hid her face in the crook of my neck

"Nine" She said shyly

"She's a little old to be held" Nana sighed and walked away. She was always too blunt for her own good; I wouldn't have her any other way

"She's not nice" Sophie whispered to me, I slowly set her down crouching infront of her; you could hear Mam hissing at Nana telling her to be nice

"She's nice once you gotten to know her" I said, although I can't ever remember a time Nana wasn't nice to me. She's always treated me like one of her own, right from the very start

"Where's that girlfriend of yours?" She shouted across the front room as I helped Sophie out of her shoes

"She's at home" I laughed at how random she was

"Come on, come tell us how you've been! Haven't seen ya's in about two weeks" She patted the empty space beside her

"Nana I was on the phone with you yesterday" There isn't a day that doesn't go by where we don't speak on the phone, I sometimes think Mam gets jealous of our relationship. Was she feeling how I felt with her and Sophie's relationship?

"So I take ya's made up?" She said wrapping her arm around my shoulder; drawing me into her side

"You told her?" Mam raised her eyebrow

"She tells us everything, do ya pet?" Nana said smugly tightening her grip around me

"Mhmm.. Hey Nana is Che home?" I asked getting a disapproving roll of the eyes from Mam, after he defended me and stood up for me she still can't seem to stand the lad. Bless him he was really a good kid

"Go on and give him a call" She said releasing me from her arms

Cheryl's POV

"Don't encourage her Mam!" I said once Julie was out of sight

"Encourage her with what?" She asked completely confused

"You know that boy is nothing but trouble, just look at his dad" I said throwing me hands in the air trying to make me point crystal clear

"Cheryl.." Kimba said in a whisper, it was her way of telling us to 'tone it down' before I could even reply Julie came in beaming, her eyes sparkling; how could I not allow her to hang out with him. Look how happy she looked

"He's going to come in a little" She said coming over and sitting next to us

"Mammy?" She said grinning and fluttering her light hazel eyes at us

"What is it you want?" I raised me eyebrow knowing she wanted to ask for something

"When Che comes can I have the keys.. We want to go into town" She pouted, before I could even reject her request me Mam spoke up for us

"Aye of course ya can pet" I shot me Mam a look scowling at her

"Thanks Mam!" She squealed standing and grabbing Sophie

"We're going into the back garden!" She shouted as they ran out to the back

"Mam, Kimba and I are going up for a little nap. Let us know when Che is here" I said grabbing Kimbas hand and walking up to me old room, not giving her a chance to reply to us

"I really need a cuddle from you right now" I sighed getting comfortable in kimbas arms as we laid tangled up together in the middle of me old small bed. I look around, I took it all in; I am so thankful right now. I have come so far

"What you thinking about?" She asked placing a kiss on me forehead

"I'm so thankful Kimba" I began

"Look how far I've come, I remember when I was around Julies age and thought me world had fell apart. I was a mess" She ran her fingers through me hair listening to every word, she always listened to us

"I have a beautiful family, a beautiful wife-" I smiled looking at her, her eyes always seemed to hypnotize us, draw us in; always getting lost in them, letting all me problems disappear into thin air

"Thank you baby" I said getting a confused pout, her eyebrows furrowing together; delicate skin creasing in together and I couldn't help but crane me neck up and kiss it

"What are you thanking me for?" She asked

"I'm thanking you for everything"

Julies POV

"Come on I'll give you a piggyback ride" Che said throwing Sophie onto his back making her giggle hysterically

"Faster! Faster!" She laughed as Che ran around the back garden, Jumping up and down, shaking her, spining her around. Her laugh was therapeutic to me, it lightened me up with each squeal and giggle

"I think thats enough for ya's pet" He said putting her down trying to catch his breath

"Someones out of shape" I cackled patting him on his back

"Fck off! You ready to go?" He asked straightening up dusting off his trousers

"Yeah let me just get the keys from Mam" I said heading back into the house

"Mam!?" I called out walking into the front room

"She's upstairs with your Mum pet" Nana said whilst flicking through the newspaper, I nodded turning around ready to head up

"Wouldn't go up there if I was you" She said never looking away from the black and white print

"Why?" I asked

"They're at it like rabbits, you'd think they'd control themselves with a house full of people" She tutted shaking her head

"Aghhhh!" I wasn't surprised

"I need the damn keys" I hissed, I contemplated whether to go up there or not. Desperate times call for desperate measures, I took a deep breath before creeping up the stairs cringing with each moan and gasp I heard echoing against the closed door

"Fck!" I heard Mam gasp almost making me lose my balance at the top of the stairs. I cursed myself and my fcking life

"Mam!" I coughed knocking on the door

"What! Fck! What!!?" She shouted her voice furious

"Erm.. I need the keys" I said leaning my body weight against the white door tapping my finger against it knowing how much that pisses her off

"Give me a fcking second!" She hissed

"Hurry up!" I bit my lip trying my best to control my laughter that was fighting to escape my lips

"Stop with the fcking tapping!" Her voice was getting louder with each reply and I couldn't help but let out a loud and obnoxious laugh. The door swung open making me stumble into the room

"What ya laughin' at?" She said with irritation. I was afraid to look up, maybe they were naked; they never did have much manors when it came to their sex life

"Is it safe to look?" I said keeping my focus on the grey colored carpet

"What ya think? I'm going to open the door in me buff" I slowly sat up looking at the situation I had just walked into. Mam had her modesty wrapped in white sheets; sex hair all over the place. I looked to my left and Mum was covering the duvet up to her chest giving me a little wave

"Isn't that bed too small for you two?" I raised my eyebrow snatching the keys from Mam

"That bed is the size of Mum's arse" I added making Mam's mouth fall open. She turned me around giving my backside a rough spank

"Get out! Out you get you cheeky git!" She said smacking my backside all the way out of the room slamming the door shut behind me

"Thank youuuu" I sang sprinting down the stairs going straight out to the garden

"Sophie, Nana is inside!" I grabbed Che's hand and led us both to Mam's black range rover

"You sure you know how to drive this thing" He said looking around it in full interest

"It's a truck not a fcking spaceship" I rolled my eyes turning the car on

"You have such a foul mouth when you come here" He said seriously putting on his seatbelt

"You think my mouth is foul, you should see Mam's" I scuffed putting the car into drive

Julie's POV

"So is this where all the 'cool people' hang out?" I said air quoting getting a roll of the eyes from Che. We had been hanging around the food court after buying stupid and useless crap. Che was in his element, he was showing me around; proud of where he grew up

"Apparently not, you're here" He teased, I gave him a rough shove making him fall off the step we had been occupying

"That'll teach you!" I blew him a raspberry, I always had a good time with Che. We could just do what teenagers do, and that's fool around and get into some trouble. That's exactly what we were doing.

"Okay it's your turn!" He said sitting back on the step next to me

"Right.. Whose the victim?" I asked sipping on my berry smoothie

"Him" He pointed to a tall bloke, who was in deep conversation with a sales clerk, his back to us holding an overload of shopping bags

"He'll kick my ass!" I protested

"We said anyone Julie! Stop being a little pussy!" He said giving me a punch on the shoulder

"Last time I checked I had a pussy!" I groaned standing up

"Here, hold this! Don't fcking drink it!" I warned him handing my drink over before I made my move

We had been doing a daring game, Che would have to go around slapping any girls backside I chose; and well me - I'd have to slap any lads backside he chose.
