Cheryl's POV

For once it was us who woke up to a sleeping Kimba, she had that pregnancy glow going for her. She was breathtaking, how did I manage to get so lucky? I kissed along her temple, trailing sweet kisses to her lips. She's had us wake up every night to go out and buy her or make her something to eat, the little jelly bean was growing inside of her. We had our second scan today, so I let her sleep a little while longer. I slowly climbed out of bed and went down to the kitchen to make meself a steamy brew.

"Hey! What you doing up so early" I said to Sophie making her jump in fear hiding something behind her back

"What you got behind your back" I said approaching her

"It's not for us I swear" She said making us laugh

"Since when do you speak Geordie you little monkey?" I picked her up and set her down on the kitchen counter

"Come on, let us see what you've got back there" I tickled her sides until she gave in and revealed the big chocolate chip cookie

"What you doin' having cookies for breakfast?" I raised me eyebrow

"I had a dream about it!" She said seriously, I couldn't help but grab her face in me hands and give her a big kiss on her cheek

"How about I let you have the cookie, but I'm going to make meself a cuppa and you have to come join us out back. Do you want some juice with that cookie?" I asked already grabbing a pink plastic cup for her

"Are you going to tell Kimba?" She said already knowing how things worked around here

"I won't say a thing" I said pretending to seal me lips and throw away the key

"Okay then, I want two cookies"

"You cheekily little thing! Fine, you can have two cookies" I said putting another one in a plate before helping her off the counter, walking out with her to the back garden

"Sit down pet" I said pulling her down on me lap as we took a seat on the garden set looking off into the morning sun

"What you drinking?" She asked looking in me cup nosily

"Want to try some?" I asked

"It's hot, so be careful" I gave a her a sip, she had the same reaction Kimba does when she has her first sip or two. Flinching and scrunching her nose up making me heart melt

"That's yucky" She shook her head taking a long gulp of her apple juice. She sighed resting her head against me chest, I was falling in love with this little girl every single day

Julie's POV

I woke up to the sound of sweet giggling and laughing coming from the back garden. I yawned, stretching my body out before climbing out of bed pulling the curtains open and seeing Mam with Sophie on her lap chatting and giggling away.

"Hmmm" I sighed, I don't know how I was feeling. It was all knew to me, another person getting attention from my parents, and another one on the way. I'll be old news before I know it. Deciding I had been staring long enough, I walked down the corridor only to be stopped by Mum's voice calling my name

"Julie!" She said again, I didn't answer I walked into her room seeing her cuddled up alone in bed

"Yeah Mum?" I said seeing her smiling at me like a loon

"Come give your Mum a cuddle angel" She said extending her hand out for me to take. I climbed into bed next to her sleeping in her arms as she threw the duvet over us. Her scent, it was unlike anything I had ever smelt before. The one word I could put together was love. The second her scent went through my nostrils I could feel my insides calm down and all my worries melted away.

"How's the baby been?" I asked stroking her tiny bump

"Hungry" She said making me laugh into her chest

"I still can't believe the other night you had a anchovy pizza" I said instantly regretting it as she threw me off her along with the duvet running into the bathroom and retching into the toilet

"I'm sorry Mum!" I cried holding her hair up as she continued to throw up. I don't know why I was crying, I guess seeing Mum not feeling well got me emotional

"It's-" She couldn't finish her sentence as another series of food came flowing out of her mouth

"What's- Kimba!?" Mam said rushing in and kneeling down beside Mum stroking her stomach as she continued to be sick

"Let me just grab her some water" I said to Mam as she took over the situation. I ran downstairs skipping three steps at a time grabbing her a water-bottle. I came back up seeing Mam had tucked her into bed dabbing a warm towel around her neck

"Here Mum" I said shakily opening up the water and feeding her a gulp

"Come here baby" She said weakly taking my hand and pulling me back into her

"It's okay" She said noticing how I was physically shaking. She took me into her arms holding me close and tight. I could hear her heart beat it was a mellow rhythm.

"Are you okay?" I asked, Mam was just staring at us; taking the sight of us both in

"I'm fine sweetheart, it's not like it hasn't happened before"

"You've been getting sick a lot?" I asked suddenly scared something was wrong with the baby

"Angel, every pregnant woman gets morning sickness, or sickness in general. Don't be so worried. God you get even cuter when you're all worried" She placed kisses on my temple sighing happily as I molded myself into her

"You enjoying the show honey?" Mum said to Mam as she continued to just stare at us

"I thought you both would take the hint and move your asses over" She said seriously making us both giggle, we shifted about making room for her

"Hey! What you guys doing?" Sophie huffed running into the room out of breath

"Cheryl, I was looking for you!" She pouted

"Come here cupcake" Mam said pulling her on top of her as we all cuddled about, Mum pulled me closer into her as she kissed my face away

"Mum! Stop!" I giggled into her neck

"My beautiful family" She sighed giving us each a kiss on the forehead

Kim's POV

"This is going to be a bit cold Mrs. Tweedy-Walsh" the nurse warned me before applying the cool gel along my bump bringing the the heartbeat sound to life, echoing through your the room. Manovering the technical stick following heartbeat by heartbeat

"That's our baby" I whispered, both chez and I getting emotional as we took in the sight displayed on the monitor

"The baby is looking healthy, everything is looking to be going well" The nurse said cleaning up the gel off me. Chez bent down giving me sweet kisses as we held hands all throughout the scan

"Would you like prints?" She asked

"Yes please" I sniffed, She left the room giving us some privacy

"I'm so happy Chezza" I smiled closing my eyes as she gave me a kiss on my forehead stroking my hair back

"I love you, and I love you" She said in a baby voice giving a sweet kiss to my little bump

"Here let us help you up" She said taking my hand helping me off the bed

"Your next scan is scheduled in 4 weeks, take it easy until then" the nurse said as she handed us prints of the baby, we said our goodbyes heading back out to the private lot where our car was parked

"I was thinking, before the kids have to go back to school we'd visit both our families" I said as soon as we got into the car and began our drive back home

"Aye that's a good idea, me mam still hasn't met little Sophie yet" She said as she switched off to the other lane

"Same with my family, I'll call them up today. Will go to mine first and we'll make a road trip out of it going up to yours after"

Julie's POV

"Mum can we stop at a petrol station for some snacks?" I groaned getting bored from this never ending car ride to Bradford

"Sweetheart we just stopped at one about an hour ago, how did you manage to eat them all?" She asked turning around to look at me

"I'm just bored okay, my ass is numb I need to walk or something" I huffed

"Baby, can we stop at a café or something? I'm actually quite hungry. That way the kids can be somewhere other than inside a car" Mum said to Mam

"Aye okay let us find a good spot" Mam said looking at me through the rearview mirror giving me a smile as she took the first exit

Kim's POV

We walked into a nice secluded café, I have come to notice that Julie has been clinging onto me more than usual. It's usually Cheryl who she clings onto, don't get me wrong I'm not complaining. Just curious, maybe it's Sophie's recent close bond with Chez that's making her turn over to me. I don't want their to be conflict or competition, I'll have to speak to Cheryl once we are alone. We sat in a cornered booth out of sight, Chez siting beside Sophie as Julie sat next to me laying her head against my shoulder reading the menu

"See anything you like?" I asked her wrapping my arm around her shoulder resting my cheek against her head reading the menu along with her

"Chicken strips and chips?" She said unsure

"Yeah that sounds good, I'll get a little something as well. You'll share with me" I said kissing her head, I noticed Cheryl looking at us and quickly averting her eyes as I locked mine with hers. She seemed to be doing that a lot, she'd just watch us and as soon as I caught her she'd look away. It was as if she was doing something wrong.

"Welcome to Melies Café, what can I get you?" I perky waitress said bringing me out of my deep discussion I was mentally having with myself

"I'll have some crispy chickens strips and chips with an orange soda" Julie said handing her the menu, we all went around ordering and of course me being the pregnant one out of the lot, I had the biggest order; making the waitresses eyes go wide as she wrote it down getting a giggle from Julie

"Mum, your hands look so much longer when you have your nails like that" Julie said taking my hand in hers placing her palm against my own measuring the difference

"They're not that long" We went on to have our little chitchat as Cheryl and Sophie chatted away in their own little world speaking to each other comically

"Are you okay?" I whispered in Julie's ear when I knew it was safe

"Yeah? Why wouldn't I be?" she whispered back in the same tone. Our fingers laced together the entire time; she rested her head back against the inside of my arm

"If there's anything bothering you, you can talk to me angel" I whispered against her temple before placing a kiss there

"I know Mum" She yawned

"Don't go falling asleep, the food should be here in a few minutes" I warned giving her a little tickle

"Just five minutes" she said closing her eyes, I looked back up and smiled at Cheryl who was yet again staring at us. Sophie always seemed to be in her own world, coloring away on the sheet and crayons provided at the cafe. I gave Cheryl a questioning look, there was something really special about our relationship. It was unique; we could speak with each other no words needed.

She looked down at Julie and back up to my eyes asking 'Is everything okay?' I simply shrugged with a pout running my fingers through Julie's hair. I nodded my head off to the side telling her 'Will talk later' getting a nervous nod. Why would she be nervous? There was definitely more to this than I was letting myself to think, we needed to have a long conversation later.
