Cheryl's POV

"You open it" I said giving the letter to Kim

"No you open it"

"You"

"No you Chez" she said pushing the letter

"Fine" I said my heart rate was pounding out of me chest that I was sure Kimba could hear it. Me hands were shakin as I tore open the letter. I skimmed through it all and me eyes landed on positive

"S-she's mine Kimba.. She's mine" I cried out and kimberley caught us as I fell to the ground

"She's mine" I sobbed out into her chest

"Shhhh baby calm down" I was crying hysterically

"S-she's going to hate us Kimba! she's going to hate us" I cried out clutching onto the letter

"No she won't" she said wiping away my tears

"Y-yeah she will" I hiccuped

"I don't want to tell her now" I said

"Why?" Kim asked

"Because she has stuff to focus on now I want her to win the art show! maybe after the show? yeah please let's tell her after the show" I pleaded crying out not knowing how Julie would react. My Julie. She's mine.

Julie's POV

"Everyone give a clap of hands to Julie for receiving the highest score in the class on her math exam" My math teacher said making me go red from embarrassment. I heard people say 'nerd' 'loser' 'show off' but I didn't really care. I was proud of myself, so I just ignored them taking my exam from my teacher.

"Please see me after class Julie" Mrs. Peterson said and I nodded okay and sat back in my seat and started to think about what my teacher might want. Did I do something? am I going to get into trouble? The bell rang signaling the class period was done. I stood up from my seat and walked to the front of the room getting some shoves and pushes from the bullies. Do they not have anything better to do!? I waited for everyone to be out of the room before going up to Mrs. Peterson

"Yes Mrs. Peterson?" I asked politely

"Julie I was wondering if you'd want to join the math league" ah hell no!

"Erm no thank you" I said getting a disappointed look in return

"Aw think about it will you? we could really use someone like you" she begged

"I'm not all that good" I said

"You got an A+ which is the highest grade in the class on an exam that no ones ever passed in my class" she said Surprising me

"I'll think about it but I'm not promising anything" I said

"Okay see you on Monday Julie" she said and I walked out of the room and headed to my last class of the day and my favorite, Art. I quickly walked to my class avoiding anything and anyone. I stormed into my class taking my seat quickly as my teacher took attendance

"Julie I want you to work on the art fair project instead of the class work" My professor said

"Ahhhh how come she gets to not do her work! that's not fair!" a kid in class shouted

"Keep it quiet Jermey" my teacher shot back

"Sir I can stay after class and work on it, really it's fine" I said and he shook his head

"I took a sneak peek at it I hope you don't mind.. it's looking amazing so far! I want you to work on it" he said and I did as I was told and went to the private room he has given me. And I went to work, putting details and making sure to take little breaks by stepping back and looking over the art work. Loving the turn out of it so far, I looked at my watch and I knew I would be staying later than usual after school so I pulled my phone out and sent a text to Cheryl

Me: Hey Cheryl I'm going to stay after school a bit longer. Working on my project.

She replied instantly

Cheryl: Okay sweetheart just let us know when you want us to pick you up xxC

Me: Okay

I went back to working on my project. I hope they like it, I'm putting a lot of effort into it. I kept at the project for 2 more hours and I heard a bang on the door so I covered the work and opened it to find Jake on the other side with a brush in his mouth and two buckets of paint in his hands

"Hey" he said not very clearly due to the brush in his mouth. I took the brush out of his mouth

"Hey" I replied putting the brush down and moving out of this way and he placed the paint buckets in the cabinet available in the room I was occupying

"Looks like there's some top secret work going on in here" he said nodding his head to the hidden work

"Something like that" I said smiling at his silliness

"Can I have a peak?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows

"Yeah but it's not finished" I said walking over and revealing the half finished work

"Oh wow! you're good" he said leaning closer into the work his face almost pressed against it

"Heyy no breathing on my work" I pushed him back jokingly

"Anyways what are you doing in here?" I asked

"Oh wait what does one do in a art class" he said pretending to be deep in thought. I threw a brush at him making him look at me in shock

"How dare you" he said trying to surpass a laugh and we both looked at each other and busted out laughing

"You have a beautiful laugh" he said making me stop laughing and blush a little

"Way to kill a moment.. now go away I have to finish this" I said shooing him out of the room

"I think you've been in here long enough" he said

"You hungry?" he added

"I could do with some food" I said trying to be cool

"Well come on let's go grab a bite to eat" he said heading out of the lab

"I'm not one of those salad eating girls, so I'm not a cheap date" I said making him turn around and laugh

"Date? is this what it is?" He said acting clueless

"Oh be quiet!" I said and we made our way out to the school parking lot. He pulled out his keys

"You drive?" I asked

"Yeah I am 16 you know" he said walking over to a sports bike

"And you drive that!? No way I'm not getting on that!" I said shaking my head

"Oh come on! Live a little" he said handing me the helmet and I looked at it for a second before taking it

"Fine! help me put it on" I said handing it back to him and fixing my hair before he placed it on my head

"Perfect" he said looking at me in the eyes. He took my hand and helped me on the bike before he got on it and fired up the engine, making some students turn their heads. And he sped off to the main road making me cling onto his toned stomach god he was so fit. I started laughing from the rush I was getting from. He was speeding down the road passing slow cars

"Faster! Faster!" I laughed out making him chuckle and press his hand down to accelerate the speed. He drove into a little cafés parking lot and parked his bike and hopped off holding his hand out helping me get off the bike as well

"Thank you" I said as he helped me out of the helmet

"You're welcome" he said as we walked into the little cafe taking our seat next to a bay window

"So what are you having?" he asked as we both looked over the menu

"Hmmm I don't know but the burgers look good" he peered his eyes from the menu looking at me with a smile

"What?" I laughed

"Nothing, just you're the first girl I know to actually get a burger infront of a guy" he said with a shrug

"What did you expect me to get a fruit bowl" I said making him laugh

"Something like that" he said going back to the menu

"What are you having?" I asked him after putting my menu down

"Probably a burger" he said still looking at his menu

"How about you get something and I get something and we can share it?" I suggested

"I like that idea" he said

"I guess I'll get a crispy chicken wrap and you're getting a burger?" he asked

"Oh and an order of onion rings" I said making him laugh

"You're my kind of girl" he winked making me blush

"Pack it in" I said rolling my eyes. The waitress came and took our order and we sat getting to know each other. It was easy talking to Jake he made me feel like I could be myself around him, he was very funny which was a bonus. He was tall and had light brown hair with blue piercing eyes. We finished our meal and headed back out to his ride.

"Hold on let me put on my backpack" I said putting it on and hopping on the bike he once again helped me with the helmet and hopped on himself and drove to my house.

"This is your house?" he said after pulling up the drive lane

"Well not really mine but, yeah" I said with a laugh. Suddenly the front door opened showing a not so happy Kimberley and Cheryl

"And where in gods name have you been!?" Kimberley said

"Well I was at school and then Jake offered some lunch so we went and had lunch.." I said trialling off hoping they wouldn't blow up in front of him

"I called you 60 times!" Cheryl said and I pulled out my phone seeing all the missed called and messages

"Sorry it was on silent" I said

"And you're on a sports bike! Do you know how unsafe they are!?" Kim said

"I drove safely! didn't I Jules?" he said with a smirk making me laugh

"Yeah he drove safe" I said with a smirk

"Say goodbye to your friend and come inside" they said leaving Jake and I alone

"Well see you at school?" I said

"Yeah see you at school" he said with a smile and drove off. Before walking inside all I could think was 'god help me'
