The week has passed and the vampire had arrived just like Carlisle said they would, this however made Annalise more on edge than usual. She knew she had the power deep down inside of her but taking a life wasn't something she did every day though she knew her grandmother was right. Immortals did not take kindly to betrayal and if it did happen the sentence would be death. Sighing Annalise walked into her grandmother's room where she had been stay and there on the bed was the red out fit once worn by her mother and now worn by her.

Putting on the outfit was something that made her rethink all that had happened to her through her lifetime. All the mistakes and the pain she had been put through and now she was going to channel it to let all of her power out to end Kate once and for all.

Kate was still in a coma like state and the vampires did not help Violet as she used her powers to drag her to what looked to me a stage in the middle of the yard. Other vampires from different clans watched as Violet did this confused by what she was doing but they knew better then to try and stop her. Once Kate's body was there Violet stood beside Vivian who waited for her mother to come out and finish a deed that was unfortunately tradition.

In truth Vivian was a child only in body, she had seen death before and hated it but she knew since her kind had out lived death for centuries that there was no way to stop it. Death was natural no matter what time it happened. Her father on the other hand was still in a fighting manner. He still didn't believe a word anyone said to him, nor the memories that Edward had showed him. The only way he might believe them was if Kate confessed all of her sins and Vivian knew her mother could and would make her do just that.

The other vampires circled around the stage as the backdoor of the Cullen house opened. There stood Annalise in all red, some would say she had the look of death written on her face. Others called it the look of revenge of vengeance either way it was not a look anyone wanted to see upon her. Walking in long stride the vampires made a path for her to go to the stage and she did. Once there Annalise looked to the crowd.

"Some of you know my kind, some of you don't. I am an immortal somewhat like yourselves but I was born this way. My blood is rare for it contains the gene that keeps me young and alive. I do not drink blood so obviously I am not a vampire and I use to be enemies with your kind. My brother however fell in love with a vampire and with one last vow to him I swore to protect your kind and I have however when am immortal is betrayed the only punishment is death." Annalise said as she turned to Kate and with the snap of her fingers Kate woke from her slumber and jumped up looking around confused.

"What? How did all of you get here?" Kate questioned looking at the crowd.

"I held you in a coma like sleep for a week." Annalise said grabbing Kate's attention.

Kate turned to Annalise and could feel nothing but rage as she went to attack her but with Annalise just holding her hand up Kate stopped and put her hands to her throat as though she wore choking. Annalise went right up to Kate showing no fear and turned her head to face the crowd of vampire.

"Confess your sins you harlot, they will be the last words you ever speak." Annalise spoke calmly.

There as if under a spell Kate confessed everything she had done. Starting with of course working with Hector and the woman he always kept beside him. To the fact that her coming to help Bella and Edward was all a lie and that she was merely sent to find out when Annalise and Vivian would awake. By the time she was done Garrett had quit fighting and just looked confused as if he couldn't understand why Kate would do such a thing.

"Traitor, your punishment just like those before you is death but of course it won't be a fast and simple death either. My gift will allow me to make you suffer from the inside out. Though since there are young ones here I will make sure it's not too bloody." Annalisa said picking Kate up by her neck and slamming her into the stage.

Violet hid Vivian's eyes as she watched her granddaughter put her decades of training into play. Annalise did release Kate to allow her to try and fight though it was pointless, Annalise was far better trained in combat then the vampire and with the use of her powers she was able to make Kate suffer without even touching her. The vampires watched and some of them almost tried to intervene but Annalise was able to take them down with just the blink of her eyes.

"You will die as proof to the others not to cross me or my kind, I'll also send you back to Hector. Maybe he'll have use for your corpse? Target practice perhaps." Annalise said as she used her powers to stand Kate up.

Kate was not able to hold herself up at all. Going into battle with Annalise had brought her to the true edge of life and death. Annalise's powers were the only thing keep her body standing straight. Violet looked to Annalise and could see she could easily go longer but it would be too much for her.

"Annalise, finish it." Violet called out to her granddaughter.

Annalise closed her eyes and took a deep breath and when her eyes opened Kate's neck cracked and her body fell to the ground. Kate was no longer one of the living dead, she was now truly dead, never to return to the living world. Annalise held her positon as the vampires scattered. Once the last of them were gone Annalise fell to her knees and took in a deep breath.

"Damn, that never gets any easier?" Annalise asked her grandmother.

"No my dear, though I admit it is a rare occasion for this to happen. Maybe if Garrett wasn't so gullible." Violet said taking Vivian past Annalise and inside the house.

Annalise watched the ground of the stage as Jasper, Emmett and Edward carried Kate's body off somewhere. She really didn't want to know where. Foot steps came onto the stage then a plump sound happened beside her. Looking to her side she was surprised to see Garrett sitting beside her. He was the last person she thought would willingly come to her side.

"You posses such a great power with so many difficulties." Garrett said as he looked out to the woods. "Has it always been like this?"

"My power grew while I slept, it had to since I am the last of the guardians." Annalise said looking out to the woods as well. "You need to stay away from me, if they figure out a way to take my immortality and my gift take Vivian and run, never look back."

Garrett looked back to Annalise confused and a little angry.

"Is that even possible?" he questioned as he looked her over carefully.

"Anything is possible, you should know that by now Garrett." Annalise said looking to him and starring right into his eyes.
