A few hours had passed and Annalise could feel herself laying on a bed but what had awoken her was the noise she heard. Opening her eyes she looked around to find herself in a bedroom with no one else in there with her. Slowly rising from the bed she made her way to the stair case. Looking down she saw Garrett taking on each of the male Cullen member's. Confused she slowly walked down the stairs and just as Garrett was about to get to Carlisle, Annalise called out to Garrett.

"Garrett! What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Annalise yelled at him which made him look right to her.

"They're lying to me, you must have tricked them into this! Kate would never betray me!" Garrett yelled as Annalise as he went right up to her and got in his face.

Before he could say another word Annalise doubled up her first and punched Garrett right on his right cheek. As he stood there shocked Alice came up to Annalise with the bottle the Kate had used to trick Garrett. Taking it from her Annalise showed it to Garrett.

"Stop being stupid, admit if pal you screwed up and not only put my life in danger but our daughters! You were tricked and now I will have to deal with your problem. Why don't you just run off into the woods? No one needs you here anymore." Annalise said shoving the bottle into his arms and walking to the Cullens.

"You, no, this can't be. There is no way to fake a mate." Garrett said looking at the bottle.

"Of course you can, it's called a pheromone, many hunters use it when they go hunting to catch their prey." Annalise said looking back to Garrett. "Kate definitely caught you."

Vivian rolled her eyes as she looked at Violet who nodded in agreement with Annalise. After all that was what she had learned from an early childhood.  Garrett dropped the bottle and though it didn't break he didn't know what to do. Kate had tricked him and now he had lost Annalise, he knew that once her trust was gone there was no way to get it back. Vivian may forgive him in the future but her mother was one to hold a grudge.

"She just needs time, sit down and listen to what Violet has to say." Jasper told Garrett.

Garrett sat on the stairs away from the group. Violet stood in front of everyone and told them her plan that when the other vampires who had helped them before came then Annalise would have to make Kate and example of the power had and that she wasn't afraid to use it. Not only would this send a message to the vampires but the other immortals as well.

"They all should be here in a week, I made contact with them as Annalise was resting." Carlisle said as he sat down beside Annalise and for some reason just that sight made Garrett's thinking go wild, he didn't like Carlisle being so close to her.

"Thank you Carlisle, now Vivian and I will be right beside Annalise that way if for some reason her power is not enough she can use some of ours. Best thing to do now is wait, the immortals will not return until they think they have found a weak point, which Annalise is going to prove to them we do not have." Violet said as she looked at everyone in the room.

Annalise watched as Vivian played with Edward and Bella's daughter. For once she looked like a carefree little girl, something she probably wasn't use to at all. Sitting on the railing of the porch she began to wonder what would happen after she killed Kate, would Garrett go nuts since he really thought the crazy vampire was his mate? Sighing she looked down at her hands. Though she had said she was Garrett's wife she knew that wasn't true, they were never married and maybe that was the good thing. That way maybe she could excuse his wondering eyes for all those years.

"Something bothering you?" Bella asked as she took a seat beside Annalise.

"Not really, just trying to relax for a moment, if that's even possible." Annalise said looking back to the children playing.

"I know the feeling, sometimes it just seems that time is moving so fast that no matter what you try to do there is no slowing it down." Bella said also looking at the children. "Garrett has been watching you this whole time, does that creep you out a little?"

"Not really, it's just how he is. After all I thought he would honestly be looking for Kate." she said not even bothering to look behind her to see if Garrett was there.

"He hasn't looked for nor even spoken of her in a while, I bet her feels like a real ass right now too. I don't know him too well but being under a spell does change people so maybe eventually you might wanna talk to him?" Bella asked.

"Maybe, I don't think that now is the best time though, I am about to kill his fake mate in a few days so I don't think that will go over so well." Annalise couldn't help but giggle after her comment.

Garrett watched as Vivian played with the other child and Annalise talked with Bella. He didn't bother listening in on the conversation though, as long as he could see them and knew they were safe. Knowing he still had a lot to make up and apologize for was something that didn't set well with Garrett still he couldn't escape it.

"Sucks having to wait, now you know what she went though." Edward said walking up to Garrett.

"Edward, I don't need this not from you or anyone else." Garrett replied looking at Edward.

"How do you know what you need Garrett? The best thing you are good at is running away. Annalise doesn't need someone like that in her life, why not just leave and let her be happy with Carlisle?" Edward asked honestly.

"Vivian is my daughter and Annalise is-"Garrett paused after her name.

"You don't know what she is to you now, but you better remember, she is a lot more powerful then you now. Hate to be on her bad side." Edward said and then walked away from Garrett.
