Annalise awoke with a startle, looking around the room she saw it was still dark out and that Vivian was still asleep in the bed. Deep inside Annalise though she knew someone else was close. Annalise stood and quickly dressed in her mother's uniform. Violet came forward dressed in an outfit just like Annalise's. It looked like both of them knew what was about to happen though granted Hector came faster than either of them thought.

"Till the end I will be by your side Annalise." Violet said with a light smile.

Annalise smiled and nodded for words escaped her at that moment. Blinking quickly her mind remembered that she need to get Vivian to a safe place until they knew if Annalise would die or not. Just then Edward opened the door and behind him was Bella holding their daughter in her arms. Annalise went to the bed and carefully picked up Vivian then walked over to Edward. Quickly giving her daughter a kiss on her forehead Annalise couldn't help but cry as she handed her daughter over to Edward, for this may be the last time she ever saw her.

"We will defend her with our lives." Edward promised as he took Vivian into his arms.

"Thank you, I will defend all of you with my life as well." Annalise nodded as she wiped her tears.

Bella nodded as she motioned to Edward that they needed to leave. Edward looked to Annalise one more time before he took off with Bella to a place where Annalise didn't know about incase Hector did want information about Vivian there was no way for Annalise to know. Annalise walked out to the main room and was very surprised to see Hector already standing there arms crossed as if her were waiting for her. Looking around Annalise didn't see any of the Cullen family and for a moment this confused her.

"If you are looking for your vampire friends, let's just say they are a little busy. Oh and Violet can't have you interfering. Harold, do you mind?" Hector said looking behind Annalise and Violet.

Neither of the women had much time to turn around as Harold took Violet's life the way he knew was best. It was only a matter of seconds before Violet was no longer among the living. Annalise screamed at the top of her lungs as she turned her attention to her father. Using her powers she lifts him high into the air and with a quick forward motion of her hand Harold went flying out the top window of the house.

"So much power, so little stability." Hector said walking up to Annalise with no fear and she knew then her fate was sealed. "Imagine what I could do with your power."

Hector wasn't one to do things quickly though, he would want Annalise to suffer as he had. Grabbing her by her neck before she had time to refocus he threw her out a window as well. Flying through the glass Annalise felt the air leave her body as he back hit against a tree trunk. Somehow she didn't break any bones though. Lifting herself to just look up she saw Hector slowly making his way back to her. She knew if she had a chance that she would need help though just enough distraction to let her re focus her energy on him. He was fast though and she didn't know how. Grabbing her by her neck again her force her against a tree as he took out a small stone with a red cloth carefully.

"Remember the legend? The stone of power that could kill any immortal but if used on two. It kills the most powerful on and gives that power to the weaker one. Guess which one your are?" Hector laughed as he looked down at the stone. "Last chance Annalise join me or die."

Annalise swallowed hard knowing these might be her last words.

"Go to hell." Annalise gasped.

Shrugging Hector then carefully placed the stone on her skin as he put his other hand over it. Annalise screamed out in horrible excruciating pain. The agony she was feeling she didn't even know it was possible. Then she did something she never thought she would do.

"HELP! Carlisle! SAVE ME!!" Annalise yelled as loud as she could.

Hector just laughed as he looked at Annalise who was becoming weaker and weaker. Finally after all of her power and her immortality was drained her body fell limp in his arms. Perfect timing as he turned around there was not only the Cullen clan with a lot of immortal blood on them but there in the center stood Garrett. His eyes were wide in disbelief as he looked down at Annalise's lifeless body in hector's hand.

"As usual vampires you came just a tad too late, she's dead. Don't think I am done with you either. With her power I will be unstoppable and I will extinguish your race. However I'm a nice guy. You have a week to mourn her that is if her body doesn't turn to dust that fast." Hector said throwing her body forward.

Garrett was quick and caught Annalise's body. Holding it close to him he was even able to feel the last bit of warmth coming from her skin. Looking back up though he saw that Hector was already gone. Thinking back to what Violet said though Garrett quickly turned to Carlisle.

"What did Violet tell you? She said she knew a way to stop Annalise from death but she wouldn't like it. What was it?" Garrett demanded as he stood with Annalise in his arms.

"It was impossible, I told her that. Annalise's blood is what made her toxic to vampires and-" Carlisle started to explain but Garrett was losing patience.

"Turn her." Alice called out to Garrett since she had a feeling he was going to hurt Carlisle. "The immortality was drained from her, including her blood therefore now she is mortal and can be changed."

Garrett was completely awestruck. Never had he thought to change her into a vampire. Looking down at Annalise he could see her glow was gone and that her aging process would begin soon and then there would be nothing he could do. Garrett was never one to think ahead so before anyone else could protest he sped off deep into the forest and there beside a stream he held Annalise's head just so that he had a perfect spot on her neck. Leaning in he didn't think twice as her sunk his fangs into his neck.

This was a big risk though for if any of her immortality was left then it would kill him. There was no guarantee that this would work at all though. After getting to most but not all of her blood Garrett pulled away to see if his venom would take effect on her. Annalise's eyes were still closed as he heard the Cullens making their way to him. He knew they would gripe him out over his actions but her didn't care. He couldn't picture a world without Annalise and he would do all he could to keep her in it.

"What the heck do you think you were doing?! That wasn't your choice!" Rosalie said picking Garrett up and throwing him into a tree.

"I did what I thought was right, judge me if you will but I do not care." Garrett said.

Rosalie went over and was about to rip Garrett's body off of his head but the moment she got to him he was gone. Looking around to see where he went her eyes went to see that he was on top of a rock in the center of the stream. What surprised them even more was who was beside him. Lifting her head and her now vibrant red hair parting to the side of her head Annalise opened her eyes to now reveal them as red. No longer was she just an immortal or even dead for that matter, now she was a vampire.
