Chapter 4: The Soaring Souls
(OC is mine.)
Skyfall, earlier
"You said that I was doing business here, I wanted to ask, what is it that you do here?"
The currently human Marie only holds her hands above her, stretching them.
"Just running a simple business in a not-so-simple city." She says, eyes closed.
"What classifies as business here?"
She quickly dons a thinking expression, and then elaborates.
"Anything, really."
"What's your specialty?"
"I just lend a helping hand to those in need. A Beastman caretaker." She says as if it were a catchphrase.
I think Michiru mentioned that's what Marie said when they first met.
"Help someone then charge them later."
She gets and almost-surprised look, but then realizes where I might've gotten my information from.
"Someone's inquisitive. Hey, what can I say? It's business."
"Most sane people would call that a mugging."
"That's Animacity for you, but I've kind of been doing my own, honest thing since Nazuna here has helped me sell merchandise." She innocently says, but I know that she's more than likely still going to scam people.
"And I can say that you can do better. I can feel your latent power, and you have potential beyond just scamming and mugging people for what they have. You can do some good with it. All of you can."
Michiru, Nazuna, and Shirou all look to me alongside Marie.
"Power? What? If you spend so much time in the sky, you a monk or something like that?" She half-sarcastically asks.
"First time I've been called a monk. But I digress. I'm just saying, the fact that you've been willing to fight alongside established protectors of the city already gives me faith in you..."
I pull out one of my metal pieces, and hand it to Marie, who's eyes are wide open in shock at me just giving it to her.
I look upon the rest of the group., who are also surprised that I gave her one of the pieces as well.
"When you guys are ready, to learn our secrets. I'll be here. Trust your feelings and trust your instincts."
The deadpan look on her face is near priceless after I finish speaking, she shoots her glance from the feather to me, and back again.
"I look forward to knowing your decision."
It's always so funny when someone like her does that, even kind of adorable too.
"Poet..." Nazuna utters as we enter city hall.
Michiru, now
VRRRREEEEEEE-WHOOOSH!!!!!!
"GAH!"
After what I'd have to assume is the strongest force I'd ever felt in my entire life pulled me and my friends through the cosmos, as suddenly as it came, it all vanishes as we come to the light of day.
The noise that saturated my ears is now eerily absent, replaced by the sounds of the occasional chirping from birds, and the rushing of the ocean waves.
I'm near instantly on my knees, as is Shirou and Nazuna.
My eyes are wide open right now, my lungs feel almost as if they were just run through even thinner air than that on Mt. Everest, I'm trying to keep breathing to calm myself after what's just happened.
Nazuna, as I notice, is frozen, her eyes twitching, I tap her on the shoulder to snap her out of it, and she goes into a sitting position, still shook.
The currently human Shirou, surprisingly, though trying to keep his cool, does not do so well at trying to regain his equilibrium standing up, and falls back in a sitting position, his pupils are dilated.
"What..." I start.
"In god's name..." Nazuna adds as she snaps out of her stupor.
"And everything that's good..." Shirou continues.
We all look to Skyfall.
That's getting kind of tedious to say repeatedly...
"WAS THAT?!?!?"
"A Warp."
That's...self evident...
"So you can teleport?" I ask, still wide-eyed.
"If you would call it that, yes."
"How does that even...never mind." I hesitantly suppress my questions on that matter, more than likely going to get an essay-like reply for an explanation.
"Rest assured your reactions are natural and rational. If you're anxious, steady your breathing. If you're nauseous, hum to yourself to keep yourself from throwing up. If you're off-balance, just stay still for a moment, it'll pass. All of your ailments will pass in a moment."
They all do as I suggest, and they soon recover as I said.
I recompose myself and get up, Nazuna no longer has to vomit and rises as well, Shirou uses the nearby tree we arrived at to steady himself as he stands.
"Can you give us a bit of a warning next time?" Nazuna asks sincerely.
"Always expect the unexpected."
"Isn't that an enigma?" Shirou asks.
"Don't be surprised by everything new that comes your way. That brief moment of shock will get you killed. In a life-or-death situation, don't ask. Act."
"Uh..." We say.
Still dropping advice on us...okay...
The three of us finally take a moment to observe our surroundings.
"We're already here..." Shirou says, recognizing the shipping yard in the distance to our right, and the fancy looking house directly to our left.
"Nina's house..." I say, but soon hesitantly gesture for everyone to follow me, still shook by what happened. "Let's go."
They follow me down the small hill and we eventually make it to a front door. I knock on it.
The door is soon opened by a young girl who looks like she's still in high school. She has a tan complexion, large turquoise eyes, aqua eyebrows, long aqua hair pulled into a ponytail, and wears pink lipstick. She wears a white halter top dress with a pink ribbon around the waist and blue pumps.
As I said before, she is exceedingly excited and bubbly.
"Michiru!" Nina exclaims, hugging me. "Come on in!"
"Good to see you Nina. It's been a while." I say as we follow her, Nina being elated by meeting old and new friends.
"It really has been, and is this your friend Nazuna?" She asks, directing her attention to the fox-girl as they arrive in the living room overlooking the ocean, a painting of Nina in the night looming above us on the wall.
"Michiru told me about you. It's good to meet you." Nazuna says, giving a small bow before she, too, gets hugged.
"She said you always listened to music together in high school, I'm so jealous I don't have a friend as good as you! Any friend of Michiru's is a friend of mine!" She says, bouncingly.
I crouch as Nina then looks at Shirou. "Whoa, you must be Shirou Ogami! Is it true you're the one who fought Alan? Michiru told me about you too!"
"Yes, it is a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Flip." He says, taking a bow to which Nina returns, surprisingly.
"Oh, just call me Nina, I'm only in high school." She embarrassingly says. "But still! Thank you so much for protecting the city! I only wish I was strong enough to do so."
"I wish so too. It'd be nice to have some help protecting Beastmen." He says with a smile threatening to pierce through his exterior.
"Not even old enough to join the SDF right now, even if I wanted to, doubt Dad would let me." She utters. "Oh! I also saw your guys' fight on TV!"
"Wait, how?" I ask.
"I think a news crew found a way to get the fight on film." She explains. "You guys did awesome!"
"Uh, heh, thanks." I reply, holding the back of my head.
"But what was that thing that stopped the snake man? It just came out of nowhere! I saw another reel from earlier that might've been the same creature, but still! You were there, do you guys know?" She asks us.
"Well...yeah. Actually, he's right..." I turn absentmindedly to introduce our new friend...but...
He's gone!
"Wait...where is he?" I ask, turning 360 degrees, up and down to find any trace of him.
Still nothing.
"You don't suppose he just left, did he?" Nazuna asks, concerned.
"Doubt it..." Shirou utters.
"So...are our eyes playing tricks on us or something?" I ask.
"Not exactly. You know, the naked eye is the most useful tool, as it is a primary way of survival, and lets you appreciate beauty in this world, letting you witness things for what they are. But sometimes, to see the truth..."
Is he getting poetic now?
Where is he?!
His voice is echoing through the dome-like structure of the tall living room...
Wait, it's coming from the balcony...
We turn to see the darkness on the 2nd floor.
"There are other eyes..."
The sounds of his voice, as well as footsteps come from the shadows...
Soon...
The mask, and the armor, emerge.
"You can open."
As of right now, Nina's face is of a combination of shock, awe, elation, and brightness that matches the sun.
Feeling more of that force from when he flew straight into Boris's head, we watch as he lifts himself off the ground, breaking all the laws of physics once more.
He drifts closer to us, almost in a stark contrast to how I first met Nina...
When she excitedly leaped off that balcony to greet me.
But, what takes me aback, as well as my friends, is he suddenly drops.
As he descends, I just about make out traces of...
White light?
They slightly envelop him, like miniature flames. An aura, if I can even call it that, being ignited around his body.
It...how do you say...feels...like him...
Steadfast, stoic, determined, somehow not malicious, yet soothing in a way, obviously kind of tingly, but the overall consensus is that it feels powerful...
When he lands, semi-superhero style, the light/flames all get pulled from his body straight to the ground, they then move away from him as they dissipate in a shockwave-like pattern.
Okay...THAT was cool.
Talk about a dramatic entrance...
Wait...wasn't that the same light he had...
When he first arrived?
"EEEEK!! THAT'S SO COOL!!" Nina exclaims, suddenly...
FFFSSSSHHHHH!!!!!!
She transforms into a blue blur of a Beastman as she leaps high into the air in excitement.
Upon landing she rushes up to him in bouncy awe, and I see her...
As a dolphin Beastman.
In Nina's dolphin form, her arms became flippers, her legs became a dolphin tail, and she also grows a dorsal fin. (I don't even know how she moves without any legs, much less how she so easily approached me.) Her skin turned light blue with a white underbelly, and her eyes widen even more so than moments ago, turning completely blue. She also retains her dress and hair.
She bounces around Skyfall as she begins adorably bombarding him with questions.
"I never met anyone like you before! You. Were. AWESOME!! Where are you from?! Are you from heaven? Why were you fighting that snake man? What was that power stuff you were doing? Was that magic? Can you-"
"NINA!" Me and Nazuna shout to stop her, and she does.
"What?" She asks naively.
"I know he's our guest, but maybe dial back the questions a little bit?" I ask.
"I'm sorry, it's just, OOH! I'm Nina Flip, and it's so good to meet you! I saw you on TV earlier, I've never seen ANYTHING like that!"
"Pleasure to meet you."
"What's your name?" She asks, eyes sparkling.
"You may call me Skyfall."
She geeks out a little more before she, much to our surprise...
Hugs him.
He heartwarmingly returns the hug.
"Are you an angel?" She asks innocently, looking into the eyes of his mask. "You came from the sky..."
He chuckles like a dad.
"If it's what you want me to be."
She squeezes him even tighter.
"I've always wanted to meet an angel. Ever since I was a kid. I always knew you guys watch over us every day. It's the only thing that's kept my hope alive after what my family's been through and now..." She says, and she looks at him with her Neptune-like eyes. "You're here..."
I think my heart just exploded, twice.
If he's not a heartless monster under that mask, I guarantee you his heart would've blown up right now as well.
I haven't smiled this sincerely in forever!
I can almost feel a smile coming from him too.
I always forget that the whole guardian angel aspect is what keeps people going in times of crisis, the hope that someone is always watching over you and keeping you safe...
Would that make him a symbol of hope?
That's a helluva weight to carry...
Especially after what's happened to her...
"This is oddly heartwarming." Michiru says.
"Agreed." Nazuna adds.
"So, Nina, what've you been up to since the Sylvasta incident?" Michiru asks.
"Well, since it's almost the weekend, I haven't exactly been busy with school. I've mainly just been doing my 'usual', thing." She says 'usual' with a wink.
"Oh, the p-a-r-t-i-e-s?" She whispers jokingly.
"Yeah. You guys should come sometime! Skyfall, everyone would love you! Ever since Mayor Rose gave that announcement people have been wanting to see you." Nina says.
"What announcement?" I ask.
"The one she gave only a few minutes before you guys showed up." Nina says.
"Do you have this 'announcement' by any chance?"
"Oh, yeah, let me show you." Nina says, transforming back into her human form and waking over to the coffee table in the middle of the room, picking up a TV remote and turning on the TV. She sets up a recording of the announcement and shows it to us.
"Mayor Rose! Do you have any comment on the recent attacks on Town Square perpetrated by the unknown assailant?" A reporter asks.
"The threat has been dealt with, and there was only one assailant, Boris Cliff. The brave Beastmen combatting it aided in defeating it." Rose responds, currently in her human form. "Boris Cliff was second in command to Alan Sylvasta, and only seeks to restore his cult. Fortunately, the good Samaritans of this great city ceased any further damage."
"Is this a prelude to a larger attack?" Another reporter asks.
"The remnants of the Silver Wolf Order have been frozen, and are currently behind bars right now. It is doubtful they are to be a problem right now."
"Was that an alien that was defending the city? If so, what does that say for the rest of us?" One more reporter asks, to which the rest of the crowd begins murmuring. "It came from the sky!"
"I have met with him personally. He has shown promise for us. Which is why within a month's time, I shall deliver an announcement regarding a special event inspired by our new ally at the Summit with our world leaders. No more questions." She says as she wraps up the conference, leaving as the reporters continue to try and pester her.
The recording ends.
"Is she actually going to?"
"Going to what?" Shirou asks, speaking up for the first time in a while.
Skyfall looks to Shirou.
"If she's doing what I think she's doing, either we have really good customs, or you guys are really accepting of other cultures."
"She DID say that we were going to open up to the public sometime soon." Shirou says, Skyfall nods, but soon goes up to Nina.
"Should I be concerned about the maliciously angry presence behind me?"
"What?" Nina asks in confusion.
"We're not alone..."
"HUMAN!!!!" A gruff, powerful, and booming voice suddenly rings throughout the room. "NINA! RUN!"
*Thump! * *Thump! * *Thump! *
A pattern of beats identical to giant feet sprinting towards us makes itself known.
We turn our heads to see...
Nina's Dad.
Giuliano Flip.
"Daddy! Wait!" Nina tries to tell her Dad but is unheard.
Me and my friends get ready to restrain the father, but Skyfall holds up my hand to tell us he's got this.
"DIE!!" The father tries to swipe at him, but he sidesteps it, causing him to almost lose his balance before trying to follow up with a back hand to his face, which he ducks.
Skyfall keeps sidestepping Mr. Flip's strikes, and eventually gets some distance in between them.
Flip attempts to close the gap again...
I just about feel a slight intensifying of Skyfall's force into his arm, the same thing I felt from him when he parried Boris.
He blocks a haymaker, spins around 90 degrees and elbows him in the chest, causing him to recoil in pain.
But the second strike...
While holding Flip's arm, he drives his right fist straight into his heart area...
And Mr. Flip goes limp as he gets thrown back.
Skyfall
Okay...this is perplexing me to the Nth degree...
Soon as I punched him, my vision went slightly grey, everything's going in slow motion, and is a little blurry.
The confusion is mainly focused on the father, because there's TWO of him now. His normal form that is still somewhat frozen in place...
And the other form I can only describe as his...
Spirit?
"What...?"
This, I'd have to assume, whale-like Beastman's spirit is an exceedingly buff human in a business suit, like a kingpin.
His eyes are closed after being knocked out, but they fly open, going wide.
"HUH?! WHA-WHAT IS THIS?!" He exclaims, looking at his translucent hands and body, as well as his physical form.
Is this what Viggo and Idunn did when they were younger?
If so, why's it manifesting in me now?
I think I know someone who's due for some questions.
"H-How even is this possible?! Who are you?!" He says. "There's no way you're human!"
"I'm not. I'm technically beyond."
I keep saying that...
Nevermind...let's see...
I walk over to his form, everything else still moving in slow motion, I touch his middle back, and I can push him around like he's in zero gravity.
"GUH! G-give me my body back! I never even thought I'd say that phrase!" He orders, tumbling around slightly.
I chuckle.
"Hmm...maybe if you ask nicely."
His chagrin is more evident than anything on his face right now.
I grab him by his legs as he squirms like a seal, pulling him back towards his body, and push him into it. He vanishes inside like a black hole absorbing a star.
Subsequently, the slow-motion nature of the area ceases, and my hearing becomes clear once more as things move normally once again.
"Gah!" The Dad exclaims as his motion of being struck back resumes, and he flies back, hitting the wall.
"Daddy!" Nina exclaims, running to her father.
I merely look at my own hands, legitimately flabbergasted at the feat I just accomplished.
I walk towards the gangster-looking father, snapping myself out of my stupor.
"You're right." I tell him, he and his daughter turn to me. "I'm not human."
Mimicking what I did earlier, I levitate off the ground, my power slightly igniting across my body, shining in both his and his daughter's eyes.
"Wha-! How-!" The father is suddenly flabbergasted as well, even though not a minute earlier he was trying to kill me.
"You may be able to strike us down, but we NEVER truly die."
Nina seems to be the first to snap out of it after I say that.
"Daddy!" She exclaims, holding her father. "When did you get here, and what have we talked about attacking normal people who haven't done anything yet?"
"T-they're all the same! I was getting back from a meeting to check up on you after the earthquakes." The gangster-looking father, currently in his human form, says, but soon exclaims at the foreign power being demonstrated in front of him. "B-but, I...WHAT IS THIS?!"
I descend to the ground, dissipating it in a similar manner to earlier, but I don't do the dramatic landing, just the disappearance of light is the same. I walk to the father, giving a small bow in ironic courtesy.
"Skyfall, it was exciting to meet you, to say the least."
Albeit hesitantly, and looking like he's just seen a ghost, considering he was JUST one, he too introduces himself.
"Giuliano Flip. Don't you dare think of making any moves against my daughter." He says, but I know he's still slightly shook at what just happened. "Monster..."
"I'm only a monster when I need to be. Rest assured Mr. Flip. I only have good tidings and beneficial goals for this place. I'm not exactly keen on ripping out your soul again. If I wanted to destroy this place, I'd be a Demon. Literally."
He looks to his daughter for context, who only shrugs her shoulders in lack of knowledge.
"Is attacking newcomers you don't like part of your family's greeting? Or is it just a you problem?"
"Those...humans never show us any mercy. They just attack on sight, not even caring about who they're harming! Do you even realize what they've been doing to Beastmen?!"
"No, is it kind of how you tried to do to me?"
I can make out Michiru and Nazuna's eyes go wide at me calling out Mr. Flip's hypocrisy, even Shirou's eyes do, slightly.
"Why were you in my house?!" Flip interrogates me, trying to change the subject.
"We wanted to hang out with Nina. I must meet people anyways, so, perfect opportunity."
"Daddy, I let him and the others in. If you're to blame anyone, it's me." Nina, trying to get her dad's attention away from me.
"We'll talk about this later, young lady." He retorts.
"I'm not one to tell people how to parent, but I'm going to because I can already see you're very lackluster at it."
"Who are you to-!" He tries to scream at me, but I beat him to it.
"I can sense that you're protective of her. That's good, every father should be, but it's to the point where you're authoritarian. Not authoritative. If you want your kid to grow up at least somewhat well, maybe you should let her make her own, or even guided, decisions. If you want to see her happy, let her have that control in her life."
The father and the daughter merely stand there in silence, Giuliano looks at his daughter.
"If you're afraid of her not being able to defend herself. I could arrange that. One of my goals here, is to teach. I can teach her to defend herself, maybe even make her, and everyone around her, stronger. If she does, you don't have to worry about her anymore. She can keep herself safe."
No response from them.
I pull out a metal peace offering, holding it to Nina, who takes it.
"Until she makes her decision, rest assured, I can help protect her. Nina, when you make your decision, follow your feelings, and follow your instincts."
As I turn to leave, having made the impact necessary for now, and as my friends follow, I just about hear Nina talking to her dad.
"Daddy, can I go hang out with them? You know Michiru, she's a friend, and you saw what Skyfall can do, no one's going to want to mess with us when he's around."
I can sense Mr. Flip is conflicted heavily about this.
Though for once, he seems to relent.
"Skyfall!" He calls out to me.
I turn to him, as do the rest of us.
"She's coming with you. If anything happens to her, you'll face my wrath." He threatens, turning into his whale form.
I nod.
Nina suddenly runs out to me in excitement.
She's got that, 'I can't believe this is happening!' look on her.
"So, you're coming with us, Nina?" Michiru asks.
"Yup!" She gleefully says. "This...well...doesn't really happen very often so I don't know what to expect."
"Mr. Flip! We'll keep her safe. We promise!" Nazuna says as she turns to Giuliano.
"You too, Ogami! I'm watching you!" He says.
"Understood, Giuliano." Shirou says to him.
With our parting words, we now leave the Flip residence, our party now increased to 5.
Seriously...
Why does Nina remind me so much of her...?
Nina Flip
Oh! My! Gosh!
I can't believe Daddy actually let me go with them!
I mean, I almost NEVER get to do anything fun without either his permission or without me having to sneak out at night just to go to human parties.
Well, I've kind of held back on them after what happened with Lisa, the shallow person she is, but I still want to go back to another if I get the chance.
I mean, my friends on Facelook are already talking about how they're excited to see our new angelic friend, he's already basically a celebrity!
Even though I don't know for certain if he is an angel, but I like to think so.
I wonder how the humans would react to him...
We walk along the sidewalk leading away from the house, and soon we find ourselves walking back towards the city.
We soon, after a good while of walking and minor banter, find ourselves walking past the strange tall building that's of big talk online as of recently, minus the Boris Cliff incident.
'Sylvasta Pharmaceuticals'
I'm surprised they haven't demolished this building after the attacks recently...
The one thing I can appreciate my dad for is that he was so willing to fight to help save the city against the Nirvasyl Beastmen.
Seriously, I never even knew we had that in us!
Nightmare fuel all round...
Wait...given how big this building is, I wonder...
"Hey Skyfall? I wanted to ask you..." I say, fiddling with the shiny thing he gave me.
"Yes?"
"If you can fly, as we saw you do earlier...can you...carry me?"
I gesture to the building to our left, watching the skyscraper tower over all the other constructs across the city.
"I think I'll do you one better."
We stop, and everyone follows where my gaze once was, and seemingly get where I'm coming from.
"You guys want to race to the top?"
Shirou uncharacteristically gets a grin on his face and cracks his knuckles as he transforms into his wolf form.
"I've been wanting to rub this in his face for a long time now..." Shirou says.
"Why not?" Michiru and Nazuna ask as they activate their wings.
I didn't know they could fly!
I walk over to Skyfall and he kneels to give me a piggy back ride. Which is weird, to say the least. I lock my arms over his shoulders and my legs around his own to ensure I don't fall off when we fly.
"Whatever you do, do NOT let go."
I nod.
"Alright, 4, 2, GO!"
He mischievously counts down quickly with a smile as he flares up his light, levitates and rapidly ascends the glass and concrete tower, being careful to not flick me off during takeoff.
"WHOOO!!" I shout as we soar into the air.
"Cheap move! Dude!" Michiru shouts.
I look down to see Shirou extending his claws, he launches towards the concrete pillars. He soon begins parkouring his way up like Venom from his movie, damaging it on the way up, the girls following suit soon afterwards.
"G-FORCE! IN MY FA-A-A-CE!!!" I scream as I can barely keep my eyes open from the wind forcing up against, well, my face.
"It takes a while to get used to it, it's your first time flying, so it's natural."
He looks down, watching Shirou jump up the concrete and the other girls flying next to him, Skyfall slows down, seemingly to let them catch up.
Shirou just about leaps past us and the girls whizz above, they've overtaken us.
"What're you doing?! They're gonna beat us!" I tell my flying friend.
"Look."
He gestures to a reflective window.
I follow his gaze, and I can see the reflection of the city it, he hovers closer to it, showing the reflection of his power keeping us in the air. I touch the mirror-like glass, as if it were the first time it has been touched from this side ever since the tower was constructed.
Wow...
He separates us from the makeshift mirror and looks up.
"Hold on."
I tighten my grip on him as I feel the tingling sensation I felt earlier from his power intensifying.
He slingshots us significantly higher in the sky, and I swear I can hear Hans Zimmer's Man of Steel music in my ears as I look at the reflections of us soaring.
Skyfall holds his hand against the glass as he continues to ascend, as if he were holding hands with his reflection as we all share this moment.
Michiru and Nazuna are on opposite sides of Shirou and are slightly behind him almost in a triangular formation. As they're about to reach the summit, we overtake the girls, but not Shirou, and almost all at the same time, we emerge at the top in the same triangular formation, with us in the center.
The sight of the orange dusk sun shining above Animacity is one that takes my breath away...
Shirou lands on the top of the tower, and the girls hover to the ground alongside us.
I let go of Skyfall now that we're safe on the summit, and we walk over to the railing overlooking our town.
"I win." Shirou says smugly.
"You did good. I'll take you seriously next time."
"Looking forward to it." Shirou replies as he smiles.
The only sound accompanying us right now is the slight cool evening breeze of us being up so high, creating a perfectly serene setting for us.
I spontaneously transform into my dolphin form out of excitement, much to my friends' joy.
To my side is my best friend Michiru, my new friend Nazuna, and the protector of Animacity, Shirou.
And to the other side, my literal dream come true...a guardian angel.
When I saw him on the news earlier, I didn't think it was real, considering Alan Sylvasta's attacks on the city yesterday. I thought it was just some media hoax or something like that, but the more I saw, the more I started to believe.
Especially since the storm and the earthquakes were so powerful...
I was starting to think the Rapture was going to come, but when it didn't, I was wondering what was going on. Though, above all else, I wanted to meet this angel.
And so, I did.
"That was probably the best couple minutes of my life."
"Nina, it's only the beginning."
I smile.
However, I can't stop thinking about what happened earlier with Dad, it looked like he either saw a ghost, or it's like he died for a moment.
What did he DO to Dad?
I know as an alien, or something, they're supposed to be powerful, as they likely know how to do things we can't...
But if he is...and he said that he was going to teach us things that could help make us stronger...
Why can't I shake the feeling that there will be more forces than just Boris coming?
Plus, the way he said, 'it's only the beginning', can be interpreted both ways...
Especially after what happened earlier today...
Even though the last incident only ended just YESTERDAY...
Was it only the beginning of what's to come?
Chapter End.
