Suffix-: Wing refers to his lighthearted personality towards close friends and family. His jokes and tone are kinder to these people.

.:: || PERSONALITY and DESCRIPTION || ::.

Negative Traits:
Sharp tongued - Russetwing may be deputy, but that doesn't mean his personality changed. When mad, rude insults seem to flow out of his muzzle.

Rude - His words or actions may be rude due to his temper. Beware when in an argument with the tom.

Vicious ( in battle ) - He's cruel. Russetwing doesn't care how you feel or what you're doing, he will attack you.

Ruthless ( in battle ) - Russetwing will take whatever path it means to win, even if ruthless. Fight him with every last move you have, he'll come back at you with another.

Positive Traits:
Fair - Russetwing is a fair cat no matter what. Despite his rude words, he won't turn his head at an incident.

Determined - Once he has his mind set on something, there's no turning back. The tom will keep going until he has finished what he said.

Responsible - As the deputy, he was forced into the spotlight with this one. Taking care of the clan doesn't mean you can slack off.

Mature - The tom doesn't like to play games or riddles. As a full grown cat, he prefers if you would act like one too.

Respectful - Russetwing takes care of higher ranks and respects the medicine cat.

Neutral Traits:
Stubborn - This could go both ways. Once he has his mind on something, there's no turning back. His words are strong interest his one too.

Prideful - Either way. Helpful in clan, angering when in another clan.

Sarcastic - Due to his tone or words, this may come off as disrespectful.

Scent: Russetwing smells mostly of pine, but you may also find a hint of poppy.

Battle:
Russetwing can be considered to be a completely different cat in battle; transforming into some other tom. He always found battle to be his favorite during his apprenticeship, which actually came favorable in the future. Almost overtaken, the merciless tom will take whatever oath necessary -- even if ruthless. However, he may look back guiltily after he calms down from the rush of battle.

Hunting:
The deputy finds himself enjoying hunting, the almost calming organization of the territory and rhythm of the forest prey. He's quiet in this trade, alert and careful. Although excelling in battling, he is known to be a good hunter. Saying this, he is normally better at catching larger prey such as birds.

Scars:
Russetwing has three scars that are obvious to the glancing eye. The other two, both faded scars, are less noticeable to the point where you must be up close to find them.

- A dull pink scar traces the length of back left side. The thin scar, nearing about four inches in length, is surrounded by fur.

- Due to a 'battle' with a fox, the tip of his ear is gone. But due to its clean cut off, it may be mistaken for a birth defect.

- On the right aide of his neck, a scar about one inch is found. This was caused when he fell from a tree while chasing a squirrel.

- On the back of his front, left paw, a patch of fur is sparse. Some of it may never grow back after an incident during his apprenticeship.

- Many small scars are found littering his body, but perhaps the most known is the thin one tracing his backbone. Although mostly unnoticeable, it may be seen while he sits or lays on the ground.

.:: Kithood ::
Russetwing was born to his protective father, Stoneface and his anxious mother Daisyfoot. As the first born, he seemed to be admired and praised by his parents for every milestone. Unfortunately, a change of events turned their eyes from him to his two sisters. Along with this, his father always seemed to be busy, almost never being able to finish a conversation with the flighty tom. Overtime, he grew lonely and in the end began to become independent from the she-cats. But despite offers of mossball, he stayed away in an attempt to not anger his mother for being 'ruff'. On the other hand, he grew steadily closer with his older brother, Croweye, who became one of a second father to him. With learning to be alone, Russetwing found himself anxious to begin his apprenticeship.

.:: Apprenticeship ::.
By the time the ceremony was finished and he was deemed Russetpaw, the tom was beyond ready to prove himself worthy. Due to his disappointing kithood, Russetwing trained hard to try and finally get the attention from his mother.

A big milestone in his apprenticeship came when a fox invaded their territory. The feisty predator attacked a patrol surveying the borders, leaving the small group to defend themselves. To his own surprise, Russetwing stood up and attacked the fox to protect the clan and with the help of the clan, defeated the animal. Despite losing the tip of his ear, Russetwing's name was mummered throughout clan for a bit.

.:: Warriorhood ::.
Russetwing's warrior ceremony was one of the proudest moments of his life, his name and title finally matching what he had wanted since kithood. The new warrior sat attentively during his vigil, very active amongst the first moon or two in patrols.

Somewhere in time, Russetwing was picked to fight in battle. Proud and ready to fight, the young tom counted the days until his first battle. That night was nothing that he expected, the yowl of cats echoing in his ears and blood dripping from wounds received. Russetwing watched a glimpse of a fight before launching into another cat, but it was unknown to him that the cat he saw was his mother until afterwards.

When the news was delivered, the warrior didn't even flinch. Sure, it hurt, but not as much as being ignored in his young days. He considered that Croweye was his family and that was it. Her death didn't matter to him.

Overtime, Russetwing would find himself as a responsible cat that would help many others and to his surprise, was chosen deputy of BranchClan.
