Ashfur shouted in the middle of the night ,brambleclaw opened his tired eyes to see cinderpelt running towards the nursery with herbs in her jaw.Ashfur was pacing in front of the den,firestar was sitting patiently with sandstorm,and brambleclaw was eating a mouse. "Ashfur you have four beautiful kits" Ashfur stepped into the nursery ,cats started to rush to see the newly born kits,brambleclaw was one of the first ones to be there.Ashfur curled his body around Squirrelflight's ,he looked at the kits and smiled.

He later found out that ashfur and Squirrelflight named their kits blazekit,gingerkit,brindlekit and talonkit.That night when he fell asleep he visited the dark forest,tigerstar was already there but they still had to wait for hawkfrost.
