Brambleclaw felt his paws tingling with curiosity on who Squirrelflight will choose to be her mate. "Ashfur, brambleclaw...." Both of the toms got up to see a beautiful ginger she-cat with luscious green eyes staring at them. "I-I chose who will be my mate," she walked over to the toms and pressed her nose gently to ashfur's nose. "I choose you ashfur,I love you"ashfur purred so loud that it hurt brambleclaw's ears and with that the two cat left with their tails twinned,brambleclaw sat there with a broken heart, why him,why not me?,am I just not good enough!?. Brambleclaw wanted to ask Squirrelflight why she chose ashfur instead of him,so later that night when he found her alone in the forest he asked her. "Squirrelflight" "yes?" "Why'd you chose him, and not me?" The she-cat looked up at him, "you weren't really paying attention to me and ashfur well he was there for me when I needed him the most,and all you see in me is a troublesome-kit!, sure you payed attention to me but only for awhile unlike ashfur,he doesn't see me the way you do,he always agrees with me and he loves me for who I am,he even brings me flowers! "BADGERS ARE HEADED FOR THE CAMP!" Brambleclaw saw three badgers charging into camp, he unsheathed his claws getting prepared to fight until he heard a high pitched screech he turned around and saw a big badger in front of Squirrelflight, should I help her?,No she betrayed you by taking ashfur as a mate! Brambleclaw stared at Squirrelflight with emotionless eyes "Brambleclaw what are you doing?! Help her!" Screeched ashfur who was fighting a badger single pawed. Brambleclaw pretended he didn't hear ashfur and ran into battle,in the corner of his eye he saw ashfur brake away from the badger to help Squirrelflight,I could have done that easily!, then he saw cats flood the camp windclan,shadowclan, and riverclan! Cats from all clans! Cats fought the badgers ferociously and before you know it the badgers were driven out for good.

"Firestar!!" "Yes Squirrelflight?" "I'm expecting kits!,ashfur's kits!" Sandstorm got up immediately and licked Squirrelflight repeatedly "congratulations Squirrelflight! I'm so proud of you" as Squirrelflight's parents were congratulating her brambleclaw growled Squirrelflight was already expecting ashfur's kits?! They just becam mates a moon ago! Firestar must have realized brambleclaw's unhappiness because after talking to Squirrelflight he came up to him. It could harm the kits!" Ashfur screeched brambleclaw purred when he heard about the risk of the kits lives. "Yes my son,this is the pleasure you reserve!" Tigerstar purred In brambleclaw's ear, "but my son,this is just the beginning of your revenge!"
