"I want you to leave the band."

"Wh-what?! Why!?" Brendon looked at Ryan in shock, running a hand through his already messy hair.

"Because I said so." The older said sharply, causing the younger to flinch and tense up. 

"I-i don't want to... There my friends- Ryan I can't just leave! No!" Brendon raised his voice, and boy, was that a mistake. Ryan furrowed his eyebrows in anger, glaring at his small, fragile boyfriend. He stepped closer, his face only inches away from Brendon's.

"What did you just say?" Brendon held his breath, his eyes going wide.

"It's either me or the band, Brendon." His tone wasn't as angry, but it wasn't soft. Brendon just nodded, looking down. 

"Okay..."

"What do you choose?" Ryan crossed his arms, awaiting an answer.

"I-i choose you." Brendon slowly looked up at him.

"Good..." Ryan walked back over, his arms snaking around Brendon's waist.

"I love you..." Brendon said softly. Ryan only hummed in response, his lips finding their way to Brendon's neck. Ryan never said I love you back. Brendon had said it a year and a half ago, and Ryan still hadn't said it back. Ryan didn't care much for Brendon, he used him. He used him for all sorts of things, but mostly for sex. Brendon was just too blind to see it.
