This should be Part Three, but inspiration struck for something else.

I figured I'd throw in some Solangelo AU.

They're in high school, I don't really care what the school is called, but they're in the same dorm.

"Great news!" Will said, walking into Nico's dorm room and putting down his backpack.

Nico looked up from a book he was reading. "First of all, what are you wearing? Secondly, why are you late? I've been here for half an hour."

Will looked down at himself. "My gym clothes. I may or may not have fallen into a puddle. And as for why I'm late, I took a detour and brought cookies." He reached into his bag and held up a pack of Girl Scout cookies.

Nico smiled. "Your tardiness has been excused. Come. Sit."

Will sat down on the bed next to his boyfriend and opened the box.

Nico took a cookie. "So what's this news you're all excited about?"

Will's face lit up. "I made the squad."

"The cheer squad? Seriously?" Nico gaped.

"Don't look so shocked, babe. I was the only guy to try out in three years, and the first to make it on the team in fifteen."

"That's...amazing. I'm so proud of you." Nico kissed Will's cheek, getting chocolate on his boyfriend's face. "I wish I was there for tryouts, but they sent me out. Apparently, it's a very private thing."

Will laughed and wiped the chocolate off of his face. "It's actually pretty chill. The coaches are great, and the team captain, Aria, is really cool. But that's not the only news."

"What else is there? Is it good?"

Will grinned. "It's very good. Do you want to know?"

"Obviously." Nico tried to take the box of cookies, but Will held it out of his reach. "Hey! Give me that!" Nico complained, crawling onto Will's lap in an attempt to reach the cookies. Will set the box down on the floor and grabbed Nico's face, pulling him into a kiss.

Nico rolled his eyes and leaned into the kiss, wrapping his arms around Will's neck.

When they pulled away, Nico looked quite a bit flushed. "Are you going to tell me or what, William?"

"I might." Will kissed Nico's nose, making Nico giggle.

"Tell me!" Nico ordered, pushing Will's chest playfully.

"No."

"William..."

Will sighed overdramatically. "Fine. Since you insist, I'll tell you. I got a part in the musical."

"No way!"

"Yes way. Once again, I was one of the few guys to try out-"

"I saw that," Nico interrupted. "I was actually allowed to watch auditions. You were really good."

"Why, thank you. The directors thought so, too."

"Who did you get?" Nico asked, intrigued.

"Steven, and, unless they can find someone who can sing and act, Twig as well." Will was grinning from ear to ear.

"And they are-?"

"Only two of the main male characters. Steven is the main character, Campbell's, boyfriend in the beginning, and Twig becomes another lead, Bridget's, boyfriend at the end."

Nico looked skeptical. "What are you going to be doing? I don't like the idea of you playing the boyfriend."

"Relax, neither Steven nor Twig is part of the main couple. That's Campbell and Randall. The most I'm going to do is kiss them on the cheek."

Nico frowned. "You will have one very jealous boyfriend in the audience."

"That is, unless you're so dazzled by my performance you forget that I'm your boyfriend for a moment." Will grinned and kissed Nico's nose again.

"William, nobody says 'dazzled' anymore. That's weird."

"You're weird."

"Dork."

"Who are you calling dork, dork?"

"You. You're a dork."

"Yeah, but I'm your dork." Will grinned.

"And it's going to stay like that," Nico growled, "No matter how many girls you have to pretend to date."

"Ooh, possessive much?"

"I am very possessive. Especially of you."

"One of the many things I love about you," Will noted, pulling Nico closer. "Now c'mere."

~~~
Time skip to opening night- Will is about to go backstage, and Nico came to tell him to 'break a leg (Or, I'll do it for you, if you get too close to those girls.)'
~~~

"You probably should go back to your seat, or it'll get snatched by one of those savage audience members." Will grinned as he fixed his microphone pack.

A crew member walked by, calling, "Three minutes 'till places!"

"Thank you, three," Will called back. The response was echoed throughout the hallway. Nico marveled silently at how calm and coordinated everyone was, and how well they worked together.

"Solace!" The stage manager, Jodi, ran up to them. "Allie- Kylar- is freaking. We need you to calm her down."

"Got it, Jo." Jodi nodded and rushed off. "I have to go," Will said, kissing Nico quickly before running backstage.

Nico headed back to his seat, twisting through a maze of parents, friends, and other random adults. He got to his seat just in time- a guy in what looked like an old Domino's uniform was making a beeline for Nico's seat. Nico sat down and relaxed into his seat.

"Hey!" someone said, directly into his ear. Nico jumped and turned around, ready to fight someone, and came face-to-face with Leo- who he usually wanted to fight anyway. Leo grinned and sat back in his seat, and Nico saw who he was with.

All of their friends had somehow managed to find seats together. Hazel leaned forward and kissed Nico's cheek. "We're so excited to see Will perform!"

"Hey, what's the deal with this whole musical thing?" Percy asked. "Do they just sing everything, like, opera-style?"

Nico huffed indignantly. "Musicals are actually an amazing form of theater in which the dialogue stops and the plot is conveyed through song. Some musicals are all singing, but most have quite a bit of normal acting."

"Solace has really turned you into a musical nerd, hasn't he?" Percy commented.

Nico rolled his eyes. "They're really good. I take it this is your first musical, just by the way you're acting."

"I saw the Sound of Music once in elementary school. If Will starts singing about hills being alive and schist, I'm leaving."

"Percy!" Annabeth hit Percy's arm lightly. "Don't be rude."

"I'm not, I just don't want to hear about lonely goats or whatever the heck it was."

Hazel pointed at the stage. "Is it starting?"

"Nope, that's Jodi, the stage manager. Places is in three minutes or so, so it should be soon." Nico turned back to the group. "And Percy, Bring It On has mostly pop-style songs. You should be okay."

The lights dimmed, and a girl in a dress walked onstage, welcoming them to the show. The curtains opened, and Nico saw Will standing on stage next to the lead in his cheer uniform. The first song began, and Nico found himself nodding along to the music, even though he'd heard it many, many times before.

Will's- Steven's part began, and Nico almost forgot that it was his boyfriend onstage. Everything Will said and did was so unlike him that he became a different person altogether. In fact, Nico realized that he wasn't really jealous when Campbell and Steven were flirting- because this wasn't Will.

Partway through the show, Will showed up again. The directors hadn't found anyone else, so there he was, in a completely different costume with his hair covered by a dark brown wig.

The whole experience was thrilling. At one point, Nico looked behind him and saw Percy dancing in his seat.

After the show, the leads went into the lobby. Will had taken off his wig and was wearing Steven's shirt and Twig's shorts, confusing a lot of people who had thought they were two different people. He had an arm around a little girl's shoulders, who looked like she was about to explode with happiness as her mom took a picture.

Nico waited until they had left, then ran to Will and hugged him. Will stumbled a bit and returned the hug, laughing. "Like the show?"

"I loved it."

Aaaaand CUT!

How did you guys like it?

(Part three is coming. I promise. I'm leaving the country today, so there will be delays.)
