Sorry about the wait. Family stuff.

"What's a surr-go-gait?" Livvy piped up from the back seat.

"A what?" Will asked.

"Surr-go-gait. S-U-R-R-O-G-A-T-E."

"Where'd you see that?" Will turned around in his seat to look at his daughter.

Livvy thrust a piece of paper at him. "Here."

Will took the paper. It was a pamphlet about things to remember when considering surrogacy. He laughed. "That's pronounced 'surrogate,' Livvy."

"Oh, What's it mean?"

"A surrogate is like Stacey."

"A person who has purple hair?"

"No, not quite. You know how your dad and I can't have kids?"

Livvy laughed. "Of course not, You're boys!"

"Exactly. Well, Stacey helps us have a kid by being the surrogate mother, which means she carries the baby around until it's born, and then we become the parents. Got it?"

She nodded. "Got it. I'm hungry."

"We just ate breakfast barely an hour ago," Nico commented from the driver's seat. "How are you hungry already?"

"She takes after me," Will replied.

"No, I'm not hungry yet, but I will be soon. I want to plan for the future. Planning for the future is a good thing."

"Who told you that?"

"Uncle Leo. He was talking about something called 'in vest mints.'"

Will laughed. "He's right, but you don't have to worry about investments yet. That's for when you're a grownup."

"Okay!" Livvy bounced around in her seat for a while. "Uncle Leo tells me about a lot of things. Like a Mazel tov cocktail."

"A what now?" Nico blurted?"

"A Mazel tov cocktail. They blow up. He was telling me how to make one."

Nico's hands tightened on the steering wheel. "William, please tell me that Leo isn't teaching our daughter to make a Molotov cocktail."

"I'm afraid so." Will turned around to face Livvy again. "Your Uncle Leo is- irresponsible, at best. What he was teaching you to make is called a Molotov cocktail, and they are very dangerous. Would you play in a box of matches?"

"No! That's bad."

"Molotov cocktails are even more dangerous. They can kill you. Now, Leo can't be hurt since fire doesn't hurt him, but they can kill you. Don't get near him when he has one of those, and definitely don't help him make one."

"Okay."

They pulled into the driveway of a grey one-story and stopped, Nico turned off the car. "We're here," he said, still tense.

"We're here, we're here, we're here, we're here, we're here, we're here, we're here!" Livvy cheered and unbuckled her seat belt.

"Calm down, ragazza." Will got out and opened her door. Livvy jumped out and ducked between his legs, running for the front door.

"Ragazza?" Nico asked, walking around the front of the car and sliding an arm around Will's waist.

"You use it all the time, so I looked it up."

"You're a nerd."

"I know." Will kissed Nico.

"You guys are gross," Livvy interrupted.

Will laughed. "One day, maybe you won't mind it so much." He walked forward and picked Livvy up, dumping her over his shoulder. Livvy kicked and squirmed, but Will held onto her as he walked toward the front door. Finally, Livvy slumped grumpily against Will's back.

"I know how you feel," Nico sympathized from behind Will. "He did that to me all the time when we were younger."

"I regret nothing!" Will commented.

"You're a dork."

"You've been telling me that for six years, Death Boy." Will stopped in front of the door and rang the doorbell.

A woman in her early thirties answered the door. She had purple hair and wore a Wonder Woman t-shirt. A parrot sat on her shoulder.

"Will!" she exclaimed, kissing Will on both cheeks. "It's great to see you!"

"Lemme down!" Livvy complained. Will set her down, and she grabbed Stacey in a hug. "Stacey!"

"Hey, sugar," Stacey replied, picking Livvy up. "My, you've grown since I last saw you!" Holding Livvy in one arm, she reached out and grabbed Nico's shirt with the other, pulling him into a hug. Nico stiffened visibly; though Stacey was a friend, he was still uncomfortable with hugs, unless they were Will's.

"Why don't you come on in?" Stacey turned and walked into the house, Nico and Will behind her.

They sat down in a living room full of oddly shaped chairs and couches, along with some children's books in front of a fireplace, which Livvy ran for immediately.

Will sat forward in his chair. "So. Any news?"

Stacey nodded. "When I went in for my sonogram, they said that they weren't sure, but they think it's a boy."

"I'm gonna get a BROTHER?" Livvy asked, turning around and putting her book down.

Stacey nodded. "We think so."

"YES!" Livvy danced around the room, then flopped next to Will. She looked up at him expectantly. "When's he gonna be here?"

"Not for another four months or so."

"Aww." Livvy slid off the couch and walked over to Stacey. "What's his name gonna be?"

"We haven't really thought of that," Nico replied.

"His name should be Liam, so we match. Liam and Livvy."

"Liam..." Nico mused. "Nice name."

"I know! That's why I picked it!"

"How about we get some food now?" Stacey asked. "It's almost noon and you guys must be hungry from the drive over."

"Food sounds amazing." Will grinned.

"Can we get ice cream after?" Livvy asked nobody in particular.

"As long as your dads are okay with it," Stacey replied.

Nico nodded, and Will pulled out his phone. "I'll call Emma and see if she wants to join us."

"Who is this Emma? I don't believe I've met her," Stacey said.

"She's my little sister."

"She's awesome!" Livvy blurted.

"I'm excited to meet her."
