Answers for #3: Leo Valdez, Khione, Calypso, Ogygia, and Festus (happy works too)

So let's pretend you all care about what I'm writing. Got it? Good. Now imagine I happen to like a certain boy in my class (here called 1.) Nothing wrong there. Here's the catch-another guy (2) is convinced I like 1. He's right, but I can't tell him that.

I was talking to 2 one day, telling him how at his wedding to his current "not-exactly-girlfriend" (they're in the 'it's complicated' stage), someone was going to talk about how utterly awkward they were when their relationship started. He immediately retaliated with, "You and 1 are awkward too." We went back and forth about that for a while, and then I forgot about it.

The thing is, he's right. I really want to tell him this. It's awkward between me and 1 because he and this other friend of mine are always hanging around me whenever I'm talking to 1, and they're practically screaming "IT'S GONNA HAPPEN!" in my face. I'm currently just trying to be friends, and they're trying to set us up!

What they don't seem to get is that that is in NO WAY how you get two people together! It may have worked between 2 and his girlfriend, but they were meant to be. They're getting out of control and MAKING it awkward for me at least. 1 and I both like to do origami, and I can't even teach him anything because they're already PLANNING WEDDING DECORATIONS!

I'll just give you an example-the yearbook signing party. After getting everybody I knew (and some people I didn't) to sign my yearbook, I wandered around bored.

I ran into the other friend of mine I mentioned earlier and 2's girlfriend, both of whom are in on the plan. I asked them if they had any suggestions for something to do, and BOTH answered, "Make out with 1."

WHAT?

I am not getting this.

Then I asked 2 for an idea, and (mistakenly) told him about his girlfriend's suggestion. He agreed with her, and started pushing me towards 1. (He's about a foot taller than me, so that was easy.) I just turned around and started chasing him. 1 joined me. When we caught him, I let him go the first time, choosing to be merciful, but then he whispered, "It's gonna happen" and ran off, so I caught him again- and this time, I wasn't merciful. (I beat him up.)

So yeah. That's just what I was thinking about. Any suggestions? I really need some. 1, 2, and I, along with a group of other friends, are dong a home video this summer, and I'll never hear the end of it.
