I've got this thing I've been doing for three years straight now where I turn on the shower just as the clock strikes 12 to wash away the previous year

I had a party and it sucked and everyone went home before midnight

And I'm surprisingly okay with that

This next year is going to be really tough, but also really liberating

I'm alone, but I'm okay

And I feel happy and safe with just myself here

Ten minutes to midnight, guys

2015 was great, and 2016 will be even better

I'm leaving lots of shit behind, and I'm proud

I hope you'll join me for another year of bad poetry about boys and dreams
