The first time I saw the creatures, I was a small one. It was my first ship to travel on, and we were going to analyze the planet from afar.

We stayed posted for a few decades, watching them grow and discover new technology.

Then, they tried to get to us.

We asked our commander if she wanted us to eliminate them.

She just smiled fondly and told us no.

She taught us that they weren't much different us.

They grew, like us. They all the looked the same, but different. One could have colored eyes or one could be thinner then the other.

But they love and care. They invented and eventually died.

All they want to do is live.

And I admired them for that.

Cause all I want to do is live as well.
