WE GO UP

Donghyuck was back at it again with his infamous look: the pastel pink hoodie, basketball shorts, sunglasses, and his mom's stilettos.

Mark was similarly dressed but instead of stilettos, he had on sneakers.

"Hyuck, why the stilettos?" Mark Questioned for the hundredth time.

"If I'm dancing my queen's song, I should be dressed accordingly." Replied the younger, strutting down the sidewalk.

The younger had decided that the punishment wasn't so bad after all. For him at least. He is known as the king of random dance amongst his peers at home and the boys.

Mark on the other hand, yes, he was great at dancing but...this?? He didn't know how he was going to pull it off at all.

Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung followed close behind the two. Taking a bunch of picture for good measure.

Finally, they made it to the parking lot of the supermarket they always went to, to restock on daily necessities. It was mostly vacant due to how late it was, but there were a decent amount of people there.

"You guys ready?" Asked Jisung, connecting the Bluetooth speaker to his phone.

"When am I not ready?" Donghyuck asked back.

"When Mark fucks you up." Replied Jaemin, flashing the latter a cocky smirk.

"I—" he sighed,"I can't even argue with that."

Meanwhile, Mark was just going through the routine in his head to distract him from the total embarrassment he was going to feel after this.

"Let's get it!" And so the song had begun, Donghyuck being the one to lead.

The boys were hooting and hollering at the two, making sure to record all of it.

"YES QUEEN, POP THOSE HIPS!"

A small crowd had gathered around the two as they commotion the boys were making, attracted their attention. It was about 10 people at most, it wasn't much really.

After the song ended, everyone clapped for the two. Donghyuck went ahead and started to bow dramatically while Mark was still trying to catch him breath.

"Thank you! Thank you! You all have been blessed by my presence!" The red head blew out kisses and kept on bowing as Mark was getting second hand embarrassment.

"Ok ok! You're 5 minutes of fame is up! Let's go back start cooking!" Jaemin bowed at the strangers respectfully as he removed both Mark and Donghyuck from the spotlight.

The eldest of the two gladly walked with Jaemin but Donghyuck was a different issue. The boy was still blowing kisses and all whilst being dragged away.

"Thank you for watching my friend's performance! Have a good night everyone!" Renjun announced, as his and the others also bowed respectfully, leaving the crowd and them to go their own ways.

It's 12am but guess who's still making food for his hungry children? Na Jaemin.

He was humming along with whatever his phone was playing while tying his apron. Deciding to keep the menu simple yet tasty, he went with a rabokki recipe.

Technically, there wasn't really a recipe, it was just eyeballing everything and hope it turns out ok. Good thing Jaemin's had experience, unlike some people.

cough the ones that are having a kazoo battle upstairs cOUGH

Anyways, the caramel haired boy was currently waiting for the water to boil, leaning on the counter, eyes focused on his phone. He was scrolling through instagram, just checking on how his hyungs back at home were doing.

"What'cha looking at Nana?" Jaemin was in the middle of liking one of his hyung's photos but instead almost dropped his phone.

"Junnie, you scared the living crap out of me." The younger put his hand of his chest, feeling his erratic heartbeat.

"Oh, sorry Nana. I didn't mean to." Renjun sent him an apologetic smile.

"It's fine, I could never get mad at you anyways." Jaemin walked back over to the stove, checking if the water had boil yet.

Which it was, so he opened up all five packets of ramen and plopped the noodles and powder right into the pot. He stirred for a little bit then put the lid back on.

"So, why'd you come down? I thought the kazoo battle was still going on?" Jaemin switched his attention back on the elder.

"I kind of lost, but hey, do you need any help?" Renjun rubbed his arm sheepishly.

Even though their feelings were most certainly acknowledged, the elder can't help feeling all shy around the younger. Same goes for Jeno.

"Of course! But please don't touch anything unless I tell you to. I don't want something to happen like the last time."

"The last time?"

"Yeah, I was making crepe cakes for Chenle and Jeno wanted to help. Instead he messed up the batter almost three times." The younger explained, replaying the scenes of that day in his head.

"Aw, I wish I could've been there."

"Don't worry, we can always make our memories now." Jaemin sent Renjun a sweet smile, making the latter's heart rate speed up a bit.

Jaemin's smile was one of Renjun's favorite things about the younger. It held this childish glow to it, making him feel all fuzzy and nostalgic inside. He loved this feeling.

"So, did Jeno do anything stupid up there?"

"Are you kidding me? He was trying to play 'Chandelier by Sia' and fell off the bed. If you're wondering, I didn't help him up. I was too busy cackling."

The caramel haired male bursted out in a fit of laughter, making Renjun start laughing too. They were too busy laughing they didn't even notice the pot producing a high whistling sound.

Finally, the loud hiss of the water hitting the stove snapped Jaemin out of his trance.

"Oh shit!"

The male was so worried about the food he didn't even notice that he had a bright red mark on his hand. After he cleaned up the mess, the pain finally caught up to him.

Jaemin hissed in pain as he held onto his right hand.

"What's wrong Nana? Did you burn yourself?" Renjun immediately rushed over to the younger to observe the nasty red mark.

"I-It's okay Junnie, it just stings a bit." Jaemin assures but Renjun wasn't taking no for an answer.

Without a word, the elder dragged Jaemin over to the sink, turning on the cold water. Worried that the pressure of the water was too strong, he manually scooped up bit of water onto the younger's hand.

Jaemin just watched as Renjun tended to his burn.

"Sit on the counter, let me go get the aloe gel." The elder directed, leaving the kitchen.

Once he was back, Jaemin had done what the elder had asked and was sitting patiently on the counter. Renjun had positioned himself in between the younger's legs as he held a hand out in front of the latter.

"Hand please?" With that, Jaemin placed his hand on Renjun's.

The burn was now pinkish, not as red as before. With a steady hand, Renjun gently applied the gel onto Jaemin's burn.

Jaemin just observed the elder. His furrowed brows. His lips slightly pouted. His focused eyes. They all seemed perfect in the younger's mind.

"And, done! Now stay here, I'll put in the rice cakes and restart the heat." Renjun was going to leave but the younger had wrapped his legs around his torso, pulling him back to the spot he was originally standing in.

"Can I tell you what else happened when Jeno was helping me cook?" Jaemin questioned, a smirk adorning his lips.

"What happened?" The elder was suspicious. He knew that look, and it was never a good sign if he gave you that look.

"Oh, I don't know. I'd rather demonstrate it than explain it. You know I'm not good with words Junnie."

"Fine, but do it quickly. I'm quite hungry."

"Oh don't worry, I'll take my sweet time." Just before Renjun could argue, Jaemin had already pressed his lips on his.

The younger's hand immediately made its way towards the elder's brown locks. Tangling his fingers in the soft strands of hair.

Jaemin smiled into the kiss, pulling away to kiss the elder's nose, forehead, and cheeks.

"Thank you for treating my burn Renjunnie!" The boy was back to his cheerful stature, making the dazed Renjun smile stupidly.
