Annabelle's POV
I woke up today super hyper, and excited, I'm finally going to school I grab my towel and my toothbrush as I head into the shower humming my favorite song, I got out minutes later as I dry my hair I decide on a perfect outfit, switching things up I didn't go with my Normal skirts rather I decided on a yellow cardigan and blue jeans with floral printing and a white loafers simple yet casual.

I went down stairs wave at my parents goodbye, not even minding to take my breakfast and left.

I got to school two minutes earlier than usual and luckily I met Sophie coming too as she waves at me, coming to say hi.

Sophie was one of the new friends I made during the week, she's at music class, and we became friends after that, but it didn't start like that at first. I couldn't stand her neither could she, but a few encounters made us close and we suddenly became close friends, we totally bonded after that, she's basically my other best friend and best part was, she got along with Maddie pretty well too, We met not long ago, so we talked like a few times before I fell sick.

"Hey Sophe," I said overly joyed.

"Hey Anna, what's up with you? you weren't in school this whole week?" she ask.

'Oh yeah!, sorry I couldn't reach you, I fell sick," I apologise when Maddie walks up to us.

"Hey guys!" she gave me and Sophe a hug.

"What's up Maddie?" Sophe replied.

"What are you guys talking about without me?" Maddie demanded she's extra dramatic today.

"You know, gossiping," we mocked.

"Very funny, I'm off to English see you guys soon," she blew a kiss before leaving.

"Well see you later Anna, I have drama class!" Sophie also said as we made our way into the hallway She squeaks at me.

"Wow nice, you wanna act a little? maybe even meet your romeo huh?" I tease poking her with my fingers.

"Come on, not really that, I need that class for my application letter to look good, am going for big dreams." she replies laughing.

"Well then if you need me, I'll be at the library." I said before walking off too.

I got to the libary greeted the Librarian, who smiled at me probably because I'm a regular, I went over by the book section and grab a novel, before taking my sit at the long extreme, away from all eyes I was so deep in the book interested by every content, when I felt someone behind me I turn around to see who it was, I smile before he said.

"Hey mind if I join you?" He ask scratching the back of his hair, is he nervous.

"Hey Jason how are you?" I reply not being able to hide my smile, I should be mad though, he never called me yet he asks for my number.

"Am good." He said sharply, "Heard you were sick the whole week ,how are feeling now?" he ask Sweetly after that.

The guy beside me just had to when he went on by shushing but the way Jason glared at him am sure he got the message.

"Am better now." I reply mouthing sorry to the guy, I know how it feels to be disturbed in the library and today am the one being noisy.

"So what are you up to?" He said trying to speed up the conversation

"Oh am reading this book its so nice, do you Even read books ?" I ask curiously.

"Yes, I do sometimes" he says bitting his nails, why does he do that.

"Well you should read this," I showed him the book smiling it was a mystery novel.

"I will," he lied I could see it, he seem really anxious to finish the conversation, "first period free huh?"

"Yea." I said quickly too Trying to study him.

"We should hang out sometimes, do you mind?" He finally drop the billion dollar question. I kept blushing, and smiling not knowing what was going on as I shylisly reply.

"Sure jason." I answer silently but he heard.

"Pick you up tonight
then?" He ask and I simply nodded and he did something I wasn't expecting, he gave me a Peck and left.

'That just happened'

I couldn't stop smiling he just pecked me god, I was so red in the cheek thank goodness he left immediately I didn't want him seeing that.

Jason's POV
I was getting ready to go to school to, I couldn't wait, I heard Annabelle was now feeling better, which means I'm making my move today.

I took a quick shower and wore a simple black hood and white jeans, I went down as I finish dressing I hug Emma bye, gave mom a peck, wave dad bye, as I pick my lunch and left home, they could sense I was happy today, Because they kept staring at me blankly.

As I got to school, I met Al and dan waiting for me by the hallway already.

"Hey what's up?" I said barely being able to hide my happiness.

"Gotta go to class, me and Maddie have English today, have to go early and save a sit for her," Alex said not even waiting or noticing me he's really obsessed with the girl.

"See you later." Dan also said as he left well good thing they left cause I would have left too.

he had art class and so did I, but I had unfinish plans, I walk trying to find Annabelle, on my way I met Sophie I knew she was Annabelle's friend, so I decided to talk with her.

"Hey Sophie!" I greeted her eagerly running my hands in hair.

"Hey Jason." She's responded with a smile.

"Have you seen Annabelle?" I came out trying not to sound hyper.

"Strange, but anyway last time we talked, she was heading to the lib---" I cut her off immediately, I also didn't miss her confused face.

"Thanks, gotta go." I added and was off.

I kept practicing what I was going to say talking to myself.

'hey Annabelle, you look nice today.' No wrong.

'hey Annabelle heard you were sick how are you feeling today?' Too much I said.

before I knew it I was already there, I look around and I sighted her sitting way, way behind, typically Annabelle. I kept studying her as I walk up from behind, she was looking so calm sitting there, I wanted to hug her but it'll definitely come out as too early but she already saw me because she turns immediately looking at me with those dashing eyes of hers, my heart immediately melted, I swallowed before saying.

"Jey mind if I join you?" I finally said, simple I like it.

"Hey Jason how are you?" She replied not being able to hide her smile.

"Am good." I said very fast that I couldn't save myself, "Heard you where sick the whole week ,how are feeling now?" I decided to add that.

Suddenly a guy by our side had the nerve to shush us, he actually tried to I didn't know where the anger came but I found myself giving him death glares.

"Am better now." She replies immediately probably to stop me from intimidating the boy.

After the long boring conversations, I finally summon the courage to ask the question, my hands all sweaty, my heart beating so fast, as I bit my nails nervously, I just had to say it.

"We should hang out sometimes, do you mind?" I said it quickly to get it over with.

"Sure jason." She simply said, but quietly.

"Pick you up tonight
then?" And she nodded I was so happy I didn't know when I gave her a peck, avoiding the awkwardness before it happens I left immediately.

I quickly ran to class, I was so late the teacher kept yelling but I really didn't care, just glad I finally spoke with her.

"Where were you? " Dan ask immediately I take a seat.

"Nowhere important. " I said but I was still smiling.

"You know I'll find out soon," he eye balls me.

"Goodluck then." I said not even knowing I just said that, focusing on class.
