Annabelle's POV
Today was my launch party and everything looked awesome, I thought trusting Kelly was a bad idea but she actually came through. The last two days went by really fast and I didn't remember much of it, I spent it planning for the launch and just working on future plans.

Jason still isn't telling me what's wrong and Maddie just went full on M. I. A (missing in action), Alex has been worried but I assure him she'll be fine, deep down I hope she is.

The party was going to be a pool party so I can get to show off my collection well, we hired models to make it more professional. I was still up in my room looking out by the window, all my guests were already here but still no sign of Jason or Maddie.

I wore a simple bikini for the occasion and went down to greet the guests, I could see the investors and went straight to them.

"Am so glad you could make it." I greeted the man in the middle.

"Am really looking forward to doing more business with you in the future." He winked at me before turning to his assistants.

I turned to greet more guests, when I heard a familiar voice calling out to me, oh no.

"Annabelle, am so proud of you." My mom came straight at me with a hug.

"Mom, when did you get here?" I looked confused but returned the hug, I know she's been out of the country so I was surprised seeing her here.

"Did you really think I'll miss your launch party, you didn't even invite me but luckily Molly called." She scolded me, of course I surely didn't miss that. "why have you been avoiding me?" She asked.

"I wasn't avoiding you, and where's dad and Molly by the way?" I asked looking around hoping to see them.

"Didn't you get the mail?" She looked disappointed now.

Suddenly Sophie and Maddie walked by us.

"Maddie? Where have you been? Sorry Mom we'll talk later." I drag her by the arm pulling them both to a corner.

"Hey bestie," she was acting weird, super weird.

"Hey bestie, you shut off for days after dropping a major bomb like that and Alex was worried, where are you even coming From?'' I was talking too much I hope no one could hear us.

"She was staying with me for the time being, I was going to tell you but she made me promise." Sophie cuts in.

"Wow already choosing her over me now I see, can you just please tell me what's really going on?"

"Am pregnant and it's not for Alex, am pretty sure we've established that already Anna." She didn't sound remorseful anymore and I was wondering why, did I miss something.

"Did I hear you correctly?" Jason came up from behind how great. "What do you mean by you're pregnant and it's not for Alex?" He asked again.

"Forget you heard anything babe, can we talk." I turn dragging him from the scene, I was not about to get him involved. I couldn't even miss the wave Maddie gave us smiling wholeheartedly, what is going on?

Once I was sure we were alone inside, I faced him and I hoped to get an explanation this time around.

"Well are you ready to tell me what's going and why you're drinking again, you know what happened last time and I can't go through this again." I started panicking immediately.

"There you go again, making everything about you but if you must know I am fine now what is Maddie talking about because I can't believe this." He attacked me back, how can he say I make everything about me.

I simply shrug him off, fixing my hair with my hands I tried to reason with him.

"Maddie isn't herself right now okay, and I honestly don't know what's wrong so please before all this blows up don't tell Alex, I need to understand first. Do this for me?" I reached for his hands with mine.

"Well find out before tonight ends." He simply said planning on going when I pulled him in for a hug.

"Can we stop fighting already and just be happy?" I said between hugs and he simply smiled back at me before planting a kiss on my lips.

It's been so long we actually shared a real genuine kiss it felt like a thousand flames lit up because of it, I was already drowning before he pulled away.

"You should go your party before everyone starts to wonder where you are?'' he holds me by the waist.

"Or maybe we can do something else, they won't miss us," I winked at him.

"Don't be naughty, come on let's go." He pulls me back out and I kept whining at him until we were back to my backyard.

I finally did it, for the first time ever I threw a party and nothing went wrong, well it almost did when Alex saw Maddie and a little confrontation happened. He still doesn't know so atleast now I can understand the whole situation.

I was inside now while the clean up was happening outside, I was seated by my kitchen counter taking a sip of martini when the twins walked in, I almost forgot I invited them and I was even surprised when the actually showed up. It was Victoria who spoke first, all smiles at me.

"I love your collection Anna, I was hoping if I can get it before the launch next week, I could help you even market it if you'd like that?" She smiled at me.

"Well that's why this party happened to market it, but why not I'll have my assistant send it over." I smiled briefly at her and she had to giggle, why is she so nice.

"Thanks." She pulled Brandon and they were off.

"You really did a great job on the party tonight Anna, and thank God nothing crazy happened." Jessica joked.

"I was just thinking the same thing too." I said too and we both burst out laughing, I really went crazy in college.

"We'll be off now, Arthur needs someone to put him down and he can't do it." She teases Bradley. How cute are they right now, now I want to have a baby.

"I'll see you off then." I stood up and escorted them to the car.

I got back into the house and Sophie was leaving too, we said our goodbyes by the door and it was just me, Maddie, Alex and Jason.

This better be good then, I walk back to the counter and Jason followed and we watched Alex and Maddie talk.

"Well are you going to explain to me what is going on, you've been acting weird all week and then you disappear," he was pacing around in the living room but Maddie still sat in silence.

"Can you atleast say something, or I don't know nod." He puts his hands up in the air and just like that Maddie burst into tears.

"Am so sorry Alex, am really sorry." She started talking, "maybe it's just pre wedding jidders." She wipe the tears off her face and faced him and he pulled her in for a hug.

"Am sorry I panicked, I was only trying to understand you." He said and Jason immediately lost it moving to invade but I pulled him back.

Nodding for him to let it go.

"Can I stay with Anna for tonight please?" She looked at him with sad eyes.

"Anything for you, just don't freak out okay, we're in this together." He locks their hands together before letting go.

He looks over at Jason signifying they can go now.

"Find out or am telling." He said one last time to me before pecking me good night.

We walked them both to the car before me and Maddie walked back in to talk, I really hope she's feeling okay and this isn't what I think it is.

We were both seated in the living room barely saying a word or two when suddenly the doorbell rang. It was late so who could it be, I went over and I saw Sophie and Jessica smiling at us.

"You didn't think we'd let you go through this alone did you?" Sophie said before coming in and we all went back to the living room, this is going to be a long night.

"The ball is in your court Maddie, what's wrong?" Jessica asked and she began.

"It just happened so fast."
