*flashback*
It was dated back in the high-school days when y/n used to be a cheerful little girl . Whereas jaehyun used to be so called " baby elephant" with bloated face and fat body. It was the school picnic day when y/n was with her group of friends making some crafts with a strand of hair falling on her face. Jaehyun had always a soft spot for y/n but never got the courage to speak to her.

He made some cookies for y/n that day as went to her and patted on her shoulders "y/n hi"
" may I know who you are?"
" oh I am jaehyun from class 94"
" oh sorry I actually didn't see you often never mind hi"
" i just made some cookies for you"
She took it but saw Haechan with his group of boys laughing nearby and went to him leaving his box of cookies.
It was that moment Jaehyun knew that its all looks that matters not the pure heart. People seek for standards not love.

It was the time of a batch mates picture when they all came together and jaehyun heartbroken thought that maybe his love , loved someone else but still he could get a picture with her.

But things totally changed and y/n's personality changed after the farewell day. The charming little girl was no where to be found after that day. Probably she understood how it feels when you turn down a person.

It's been years after Jaehyun got older and his father being rich forcefully made him go through plastic surgery. Though his face changed to be one of the most handsome faces of all but his heart was still of gold and mind full with memories of y/n.
*flashback ends*

Your eyes were filled with tears and you hugged him and said " this was the similar incident you talked about on the first day we met. I deserve to be slapped because I consecutively went to that haechan leaving you. Maybe I never understood your worth unless being neighbors made me be with you"

Jaehyun kissed your tears away and said " the picture you're holding that's me and you from that picnic day.
Remember the first day when we met at the balcony . I didn't talk to you because I thought you would be the same but at that party I saw you changed and felt that really I fell for the correct person"

" Jaehyun I am so sorry but I am assuring that I'll love at your best and worst both. I can never compensate for all the pain I gave you but I have been through the same so-"
" so let's love each other and never make feel each other alone " and then he came closer to hug you but you stopped him instead you got closer and kissed his lips. "Guess I have already started compensating". You both giggled between your kisses.

It was the next day you had a call from Haechan and he said " hey y/n" more in an evil tone.
" wtf do you want again"
" come to the park in front of the building or else I'll shoot your so called lover "
" HAECHAN NO I'M COMING!"
you ran until your legs sprained and you reached the park and shouted
" JAE WHERE ARE YOU . ANSWER ME" and couldn't stop yourself from crying.
You saw someone hugging you from behind and said " look at your face y/n you're so childish. Its me Jae stop crying stop crying". You looked behind and saw Jaehyun in a suit with his hair styled in a comma hairstyle.
Haechan came smiling from behind and said " I fooled you bwahaha. And yo don't be afraid I am not that bad  now" and gave a hi five to Jaehyun.
You were completely clueless when Jaehyun kneeled down and said " will you marry me ?"
You were shocked! You started crying.
" that's a no? Omg"
" shut up jae it has always been a yes"
Haechan spoke suddenly " ahhhh only if I knew y/n would turn this beautiful one day" .
" Lee haechan byee" you spoke and hugged Jaehyun which made three of you laugh.
