Suddenly you felt something trembling. You saw Jaehyun whispering " Are you okay y/n?". You couldn't speak anything and cried even more then he tried standing but couldn't but you helped him a lot to stand on his own. You called your friend Sohee and she came over with her car. She was terrified by the sight. You and Jaehyun went into the car. You stopped crying and he fell asleep soon.

You didn't want him to wake up from sleep so you saw the secretary of the society where you both lived and you both took him to your room. You let him sleep in your room and you moved to the drawing room. The whole night you couldn't sleep and kept on blaming yourself.

Something more happened to you that night. You were convinced that you really had something for Jaehyun. He was not mere best friend to you but somewhat more. While thinking all this you fell asleep on the sofa beside the bed.

The gleaming sunlight entered the room and you woke up. You saw Jaehyun was not present there instead he left a note where he said
" Y/n i am so thankful for whatever you did for me. I am really owe you everything.
i need to go to the work today cause its really something important. Listen stay safe and don't forget to eat your meals. Yes Sohee called today and said that she had arranged a party today so we gonna attend that. She tried calling you but couldn't reach you. Let's go there together bye

You came from your work earlier than usual. You got ready elegantly. You saw Jaehyun waiting outside from your window. He was wearing a suit and looked unexceptionally handsome.

You came out of the gate and he waved at you and again his dimples popped out which made you feel different a little different from the feeling that you had when you saw him doing this from the first time. You clearly fell for him .

In the car, you both were awkward about whatever happened the previous day so you started " Jaehyun, i-i am uh so sorry and guilty for whatever happened the other day and -". He interrupted " What on earth do you think was your fault for whatever that happened yesterday. It was clearly Haechan who fucked up the whole situation. Mf doesn't even know how to treat a girl . His revenge is more important than a girl's respect in society. I am so sorry y/n but you like a pure stupid ass." You couldn't say that you have started liking Jaehyun.

Y/n's pov:
We reached the spot and saw a lot of couples drinking and talking in different groups. As an introvert, I was very shy amongst all of them but I saw Jaehyun laughing at my situation . He said " y/n its okay i am here." and laughed. Then Sohee came and called everyone together and started playing dare or dare. People were giving each other cringy stuffs to do. I was feeling very uncomfortable and all of them were drunk except me and Jaehyun.

I felt if I could ran away from that place . I looked at Jaehyun and I saw he was also looking at me and trying to say something. He whispered "y/n I want to go somewhere else. How about the beachside where we went that day. Its our comfort place?". He just read my mind. I immediately nodded and said " please please please " . As all of them were drunk we slipped cautiously out of the place.

We escaped and we both laughed a lot. We were looking at each other and wheezing at each other's situation. I never knew I would find someone so similar to me. It was like I was becoming more attached to him every moment he approached me. We started walking and I made up my mind to ask him if he had someone in his heart.

We reached the beachside when he said " y/n I have someone to introduce to you". He went to somewhere and I was already kind of like practicing how to confess to him when I turned to him and saw he brought a girl pretty like no one else, she was such a ball of sunshine and he came and said " Y/n meet my girlfriend Jihee. Jihee meet my best friend and neighbor y/n".

I could feel my heart wrenching. I couldn't breathe because I was trying my best not to cry in front of them. I stepped backwards and I could feel my throat choking. I couldn't say anything . He said " hey y/n you okay ". I said " y-you two l-look so beautiful together. Oml I forgot I need to go to visit my brother now bye I'll meet you both someway later".

You ran like insane through the lanes until you fall on the road and said " why is it always me who has to get rejected ?"

Then you kept thinking " why didn't I say that I love him. Why did I hide my feelings and ran away. Jaehyun really meant it when he said that the more you like a person the more you hide the truth because you feel scared if the person misunderstand and leaves you".
