Again. I sat up top a tree and as crowd formed underneath it. I had slipped up again. I cursed the heavens for giving me this ability. "Come down, we just want to hug you!" I climbed up higher as a tall guy started reaching up for me. I wanted to cry. I was scared shitless.

The sun had set and everyone seemed to have come back to their senses. "What are we doing?" "What time is it? Oh no, my meeting!" "Why is that kid up in a tree?" "Are you stuck?" I shook my head then watched them disperse. I slowly climbed down the tree then rubbed my thighs.

I was tired. I wanted to go home and never leave my bed in fear of today's event occurring again. I don't know how I gained this power, but I only learned of it when I said "love" and suddenly my entire class was professing their undying love for me.

I didn't know what to do. I only recently found out that saying "boy" triggers the same effect. I never asked for something like this, but here I was. I wanted to get rid of it. "Excuse me sir?" "Huh?" "Do you mind pronouncing this word for me?"

I looked down but couldn't understand what it was. It looked foreign. "I can't." "Please try? It's for a project." I sighed then tried my best. I suddenly felt arms around me and saw that she had the familiar mark that appears on someone's eye.

I pushed her off and ran. Suddenly her shouting was soon joined by more. It sounded like a stampeding here behind me. I had never wanted to die so much at that moment. I briefly looked back then found myself running smack into a wooden pole.

I was soon surrounded by people who pulled on me like a rag doll. "Let me check on him." "No, me." "Move, I'm a nurse!" I was suddenly jerked to the side and being held in someone's arms. "What are you doing? What did he ever do to you?" The voice sounded familiar.

"He ran into this pile and we were checking on him." "By treating him like some rag doll? Please." It was so familiar, but I couldn't figure out who it was. "Just let us make sure he's okay." "You've done enough. Begone." They has all went silent then started murmuring.

"What am I doing here..." "I left my child!" The crowd dispersed and I soon found some strength to stand on my own. "You can let me go..." I pulled away and was now face to face with my savior. "Do I know you from somewhere...?" "Maybe." His face looked way too familiar to me.

"Can you give me a hint?" "Haknyeon." I blinked then squinted. A light bulb went off and I found myself blinking rapidly. "H-Haknyeon? That short, slightly pudgy kid with glasses who lived next door?" "Yeah..." I looked him up and down in awe. Puberty can do a lot to a person.

"You look great man. What school do you attend?" "Anyang Arts University. You?" "Hanlim Art University." "Ah, that's a good distance from Anyang." I nodded then realized something. "How did you get them to leave?" "I told them to go?" I eyed him skeptically.

"Okay..." "Why were they all over you?" "Dunno." He looked at me skeptically then sighed. "See you around?" "Yeah. Stop by the school sometime." "Same to you." He gave me one last look before heading off. Something about him was different. And I didn't mean just his appearance.

[Haknyeon Pov]
I tapped my pen against my opened notebook as the professor droned on about complex equations that need to be checked more than twice. No one really cared, and I happened to be one of them. I was more interested in Sunwoo, who had been hit by the puberty truck too.

He was always taller than me, but he was thinner than he is now. He didn't wear glasses to see like I did, they were for reading. He looked cute in them but he'd always hit me for complimenting him in them. "Mr. Ju?" I snapped my head up as he pointed to the equation.

"The answer?" "I don't know...5 exponent 3 times 8 exponent 12?" He frowned then nodded. "Surprisingly you're correct..." The class looked at me with wonder and awe. I shrugged. I didn't know either. "Continuing on then..."

I stretched out in pleasure as I was finally free from the hellish class. I sighed then felt someone drape their arm over my shoulder. "Oh, Junggeun." "Hey." He poked my cheek and caused me to swat his finger away. "You've been frowning all day."

"Wouldn't you if you were subjected to being in that math class?" "True enough. So what happened to you yesterday? You never met up with us." "Some things happened. Important at home things." He nodded and didn't ask further questions.

The school day had ended for me and I found myself slowly making my way back to my residence hall. I passed by the entrance then noticed a person entering school grounds. "Sunwoo?" "Piglet." I frowned at the nickname. "Come on, it's cute." "It's insulting."

"Fine. So, this is Anyang. Pretty spacious." "Yep. And now it looks like I have to entertain you instead of going straight to sleep." "Well, maybe you could get started on homework in the meantime." "But you're here." "We can help each other out."

We sat across from each other as the wind gently blew around us. I couldn't help but admire the way the wind blew his hair then let it gently fall back onto his face. "Stuck?" "No..." I looked back down at my paper then groaned as I hadn't even started it.

"Hak, let me help." "It's fine." He slid next to me then looked over it. "I think if you were to write it like this..." He proceeded to write out his method on the top of the page. "...then it'll help things go faster." I tried it myself and was surprised by how well it worked.

"Wow, thanks." He patted my head as he smiled. "Don't mention it." I covered my cheeks as he moved back to his seat. They felt hot and it soon became uncomfortable. "Hey, Sunwoo." "Yo?" "You wanna grab a bite to eat?" "Sure."

I watched as he scanned the list. "That sounds good..." "So, this one?" "Yeah." I took a bite out of my doughnut then relished in its sweet taste. "God, I love this one." "Love what?" He looked at me then gave a look of horror.
