Bouquet - Prologue
"Hannah!"
Flowers were being displayed outside by a young woman, her brown hair tied up in a high pony-tail and a green apron wrapped around her waist, her white cardigan flowing in the gentle wind. Sounds could be heard coming within the shop, a pokemon's cry ringing out with a following of soft pit pats of their paws against the wooden floorboards.
"Eevee!" The young Pokemon cried, bursting through the glass door to greet her trainer who was still displaying the flowers. Each row being different colours of many different flowers, each their own kind. The young woman turned around, her Eevee nuzzling her leg with much earned love and trust between pokemon and trainer.
She giggled at her little furry friend and placed a small basket next to her just like every other Friday of the week, "you know what this means Hannah, make sure it gets to the three pokemon of the flower field!" Hannah nodded, checking in the basket and counting all of the colourful berries as they let off a delicious sent.
Once all counted, Hannah the little Eevee took off, sending a wave to her trainer before starting to skip. She made her way down the path, passing multiple trainers and other pokemon, getting greeted once again from familier and friendly faces from the people of Paxton Village.
"Hi Sky! Making another delivery for Mrs. Marble?" Hannah greeted the friendly delivery bird. "Oh hi Hannah! Yes I am, I'm a very busy Pidove after all-"
"Don't drop the mail in the pond again okay Sky!" The Eevee giggled when the Pidove started to sqwark, remembering the one time he messed up his delivery. Flying over the dreaded pond only to have a Pidgey fly onto him and causing the mail to fall out of his little delivery bag.
She'll never let the poor bird live it down.
"That was one time okay?! D-don't you have your own stuff to deliver?!" Her ears raised, quickly waving to the male, "oh yeah! I'll see you in a bit Sky!" Hannah dashed off, hearing one more thing from her friend.
"Remember to be careful! That Pokemon Hunter is still lurking around!" He shouted, only getting a "don't worry" from the flower shop Pokemon, causing the bird to sigh before flying off to start his deliveries.

Hannah continued to skip along, leading her to the end of the path were flowers met her feet and gaze.
Flowers stood tall and danced gracefully in the wind as they do, always causing the Eevee to feel calm and relaxed while visiting the Pokemon of the flower field. She made her way in, careful to not ruin any of the flowers beauty while she moved through them, a pokemon coming into her sight as it observed the flowers.
"Edmon!" Hannah cried, catching the pokemon's attention. He stood up from his place and cleaned himself up for the girl, gracefully bowing with his flower hands went in the air, both red and blue.
"Why hello again Hannah, I assume you are here to deliver some berries for me and my siblings?" The grass and poison type asked.
"Yep! Where are Rowan and April anyway?" The flowery Pokemon checked in the basket while answering her question, pointing to the trees not far off from them that led into Blossom Forest.
"Okay! I'm going to see them for a bit-"
"Wait a minute Hannah." The furry Pokemon was cut off, watching the Rosarade stand and twirl in one place, setting a red flower in front of her green eyes.
"For you young lady, another gift from your admirer~" she giggled at his kindness.
This had been happening for months, she found out that someone had a crush on her ever since the flamboyant Pokemon let it slip.
Only once did it slip but he never mentioned who it was but that the Pokemon was a close friend of his, since then Hannah had been receiving a flower whenever she came to the field by the oldest sibling of the three pokemon, saying that her admirer asked him to hand her the flower since he was way to shy to do it himself.
"Thanks Edmon, I'm sure that friend of yours would just tell me...I wish he..." Hannah trailed off, of course the Rosarade caught her shift in mood and clapped his hands together (his hand bouquets?).
"I'm sure he's working on it and I'm sure you'll be happy with who it is~" he winked at her which caused the young pokemon to giggle at his flirtatious nature (it's normal at this point).
Their little fun came to an end when a cry was heard.
A little greem pokemon came running out of Blooming Forest, tripping multiple times due to her small and stumpy legs.
"Edmon! Rowan is-is..." she managed to squeak out, her voice cutting off here and there due to her raspy and nervous voice as tears ran down her cheeks.
"Rowan? What happens April?" Edmon's voice cut through, no longer showing that he was in a joking mood as he watched his little sister cry in fear. "It's the hunter! He's trying to get him and me!" Hannah's body froze, remembering what the derpy Pidove told her before she left.
"Remember to be careful! That Pokemon Hunter is still lurking around!"
It felt like her heart just...stopped. Many reports had been put on the news before about this hunter. How he was hunting extremely rare pokemon he could sell on or even slughter and display in his own hut of a house.
Hannah knew why he would be after both Rowan and April.
They're both shiny pokemon...
"April, Hannah! Go back into the village and go seek help, along with the local police!"
Before she knew it, Edmon was off, leaving both April and Hannah in the field as distant shots could be heard.
"April, we need to go now and get help..." April nodded, tears still running down like a waterfall. Hannah placed the shiny Budew on her back, taking off towards the village.
You better be okay you two or you'll get an ear load from me later...

People and Pokemon stood in the flower field in a panic, police littering the area in search of anything.
"Rowan...where is big brother?" April shaked the shiny Roselia as he only stood there, doing...nothing.
Hannah sat behind the two, police had found him not long ago when they pulled him out from under a broken branch with only a few scars littering his green body. Edmon was no where to be seen which only caused both her and the two siblings to worry.
Rowan isn't acting like himself at all...where did his spark go? It's...it's not like Edmon hasn't gone missing before. He knows his brother is strong!
But...
"We found something!" A police man cried, causing public eyes to land on him and his findings.
Carrying it along, he set it on the ground.
Horror only filled Hannah's eyes and she looked...
"Edmon...wake up you stupid joker..." Rowan stood there, April standing between her brother and Hannah while looking at him. Rowan continued to stare at his older brother, shouting for him to get up and stop acting like he always does.
"Sir...is he..." Hannah's trainer spoke up, her words hesitating in hopes it wasn't true.
"I'm afraid so miss...this Pokemon...is no longer alive..."
No...no this can't happen...Edmon can't just be...dead...
April stood and cried her heart out, seeing this happen was just awful but for it to be her brother...it was terrifying.
Rowan couldn't look, only gazing into Hannah's eyes as he spoke.
"Hannah...it's time..."
"Rowan...please don't..." Hannah begged, trying to get the image of Edmon's corpse out her head as a doctor carried him away.
"April...let's go..."
"But brother! Edmon will come back! He's strong and-"
"That's enough April! We are going for mine and your safety! It's...it's Edmon's fault for not listening to me in the first place!" Rowan was broken, his black and purple flowers looked as if they were wilting before Hannah's eyes.
"Hannah...take care of yourself-"
"We'll be back! If not Rowan then I will!" April cut off her brother, still tears in her eyes as she spoke.
Rowan just...walked, causing April to follow him.
Hannah watched as they went, sniffling as tears started to fall.
Witnessing one of her best friends lying there with no life running through him and they seeing her other friends leave.
She sat and cried...
Author note
This is the longest prologue I've ever written.
Yet it was probably poorly written...
Anyway, I'm making this book as a little challenge for me where I write a chapter to this everyday until it's complete!
It'll only have about 8 or 12 chapters though (not including the Prologue).
Hope you'll enjoy the ride!
^-^
