Levi Dawson
"Levi, Emma, are you ready?" I hear Frank, the director shout from the background. "Yeah, yeah, we're good." I respond in a more irritated tone than I meant it to be.
"Why are we doing this scene again? We've been at this for eight hours now! Am I the one messing up or is Levi?"
I grab Emma's arm lightly, making her focus on me before she loses her mind.
"Shh, baby, it's okay, let's just get through this one more time." I give her my best convincing smile.
" Ugh! Fine!" She huffs and stomps her sexy body back to her spot in the room.
"Let's give it another go then," I hear Frank say for what feels like the tenth time in the last hour.
I look over at Emma as she rolls her beautiful blue eyes and shakes her head. Normally I would enjoy doing this scene over and over again with my amazingly hot co-star and now fiancé. But it's late and I'm fairly certain there are tears of sweat forming near my brows and I don't want to have to stop for the make up artist to fix anything. Emma's make-up is no longer perfectly set on her face either, which tells me this take should be our last one...hopefully.
The stage room is lit only with the lamp on the dark wood nightstand, and a few camera lights shining on us from above the stage. The camera crew is surrounding us at every angle and the director is sitting about twenty feet away in his tall black canvas chair.
"And go!" This is all I need to hear as I grab Emma's long slender arms and gently slide my hands up to her wrists pulling them over her head and pushing her against the bedroom door, closing it shut. I lean in, taking her full lips into mine. I release her wrists and she grabs my white t-shirt, quickly pulling it off over my head. We lock lips again and I reach around to unzip her tiny red dress, letting it fall to the floor. Damn, she's hot in her red lace bra and panties. Looking at her barely dressed in this way is so tantalizing that I get lost in my own head, forgetting that there's anyone else in the room. I swallow hard, focusing on keeping the bulge in my pants at bay. This would be easier if I wasn't already in love with this woman.
I tuck Emma's long straight blonde hair behind her ear and rest her face into my palm, bringing her lips closer and kiss her again. This time it's not as smooth, I can feel her rushing and I know she wants to get out of here as much as I do after spending all day in this room.
Still, I need to focus on this scene. I bring my hand down her back and onto her hip, then slowly lift her long leg by her thigh and hold it up against my waist. Her legs are already so long and slim, these high heels she's wearing makes her as tall as I am.
She breaks free from my grip and places her hands on my bare chest, pushing me back towards the bed. I lay back onto the white duvet cover while she continues to climb up on top of me, kneeling over me and resting both thighs on either side of my legs. She slowly unzips my pants, her eyes fixed on mine. We kiss again, this time putting my hands on her shoulders and rolling her over so that I am now on top. I kiss her softly one last time before I whisper, "I love you."
"CUT! That's a wrap for today," Frank shouts.
The camera crew scurries around while the set crew collects the props. Frank walks over to us and congratulates our splendid performances before he hurries off for the night.
"Thank god," Emma sighs with relief. "I'm going to shower and change," she says as I offer her my hand to help her off of the bed.
I give her a light kiss on her cheek. "You were great today!" I compliment her and she gives me a half smile before walking to her dressing room.
"Alright? Mate!" Mark says as he walks over and puts a hand on my shoulder. Mark is my manager and also a good friend of mine.
"Yeah, yeah mate," I respond, my voice a little hoarse at this point.
"You have a ride home?" Mark asks me.
"Yeah, Landon is picking me up and Emma's driver is here to take her home."
"The Hawley at half eight then, I will send a car for you!" Mark shouts as he heads towards the door.
"Sure, I will let Emma know to be ready," I say.
Mark turns back around towards me. He nervously brushes his fingers through his hair and looks as if he wants to say something, but instead he just shakes his head slightly and leaves.
I know he wanted to object to Emma coming out tonight, he's not fond of her but tolerates her for my benefit. Him and Emma don't see eye to eye on many things, mostly on how Mark manages my time. I love them both though, so I try not to get too involved in their bickering.
Emma thinks Mark takes too much of my time away from her, yet her own manager tries very hard to minimize any quality time we have by giving her very high standards to follow... Always look her best, every photo captured of her outside must be picture perfect, don't give reporters anything bad to write about, attend every glamorous interview offered. It can be insane the kind of life we live. I'm good at what I do, I have the perfect face, the physique, is what everyone tells me anyway. I love feeling important and wanted but at the same time I wish neither of us were famous and I could have her all to myself, life could be simple.
I don't come from a large, well-known family. Being an only child, my mum and dad wanted to make sure they were always nearby. I have a tight knit group of lads who are like my brothers. My mates Andy and Landon live with me. Our bachelor pad, it's great! I'll miss living with them when Emma and I move in together. The three of us grew up together, same school, same sports. Landon is more the adventurous type, always planning the hiking trips, biking, swimming and boating; I love it all!
Andy likes the adventure too, but he's more reserved, the one that keeps us lads grounded. Although we all get along when we're together, I know Emma doesn't care much for them, she only thinks they take more of my time away from her. Andy makes sure to let his dislike of her known, and I know it's just his way of looking out for me. Landon is happy if I'm happy, so Emma finds it easier to get along with him.
Our flat in Camden is modern yet rustic. It isn't huge but has three bedrooms and each our own bathroom; which is the only reason Emma ever agrees to stay the night with me at my place. I haven't been able to convince her to move out of her's and into a new one with me yet. Her place is bigger and more luxurious she says, and she wants me to move in with her. I don't feel like it's home at her place. I'm not a fan of crimson walls, tile floors, and gold crown molding. Her housemaid is always there picking up after her, I'm afraid to touch anything when I'm over. Her place is also right amid all the noise of all the pubs, restaurants, and shopping. Her building is full of actors, authors, and famous musicians. I would rather reside in a lesser-known place, a home without all the attraction.
It's quieter where I live, but still walking distance to some pretty cool hang outs. If I could convince her to move with me near my neighborhood, it would be wonderful for me. I'll do whatever makes her happy though, seeing her smile is all that really matters to me.
"Let's go mate!" Landon shouts from his car window as soon as he spots me exiting the studio.
I get into the front passenger seat and Landon looks over at me with a mischievous smile plastered to his face. His golden-brown eyes staring at me like he's hoping that I'll agree with what he's about to ask. I wait a few seconds, chuckling to myself while I watch him anxiously run his fingers through his shaggy blonde hair; I like torturing him.
"Spit it out mate!" I finally say.
"I know what I want for my next tattoo, and you should come with me and get one too."
"You know my contract won't allow me to get a tattoo," I remind him. "But I'm glad you figured out what you wanted to add to your collection." His arms are already covered with an intricate network of black and white artwork... what's one more.
"Mark says we're going out tonight, you coming?" I ask Landon. I have more fun when him and Andy come out with us. " Andy's skipping out to be with his new girlfriend he's been hiding from us." We both start laughing.
"I think he might bring her on our camping trip this weekend," Landon says to me.
"Shit! I almost forgot about hiking and camping this weekend, I haven't even told Emma about it yet," I mumble more to myself.
"Well you better tell her tonight then. Don't worry, I got your back." He slaps me on the back of my shoulder while he says it.
"Yeah, great, thanks mate," I sarcastically respond. "Hurry up and get us home so we can get ready."
