When the idea came up: Sometime in 2018

Plot (if one was thought of): Team Phantom Series ( 3 books were initially planned ) is set in Almia, roughly two years after the events of Pokémon: Shadows of Almia. It follows, Aegis Forrester, 14, youngest Top Ranger in history as from his first day at Ranger HQ. Throughout the book, Aegis has several encounters with Team Phantom Grunts and Admins. Ranger HQ realizes how much of a threat Team Phantom is and strives to stop them. However, something stands out about this particular Team: they most of the time go out of their way to keep people(except for Ranger, of course) and Pokémon out of harm when attacking. The Leader of Team Phantom, Alister ( NO NOT THE GALARIAN GYM LEADER. I WAS WORKING ON THIS IDEA BEFORE SWORD & SHIELD WERE EVEN ANNOUNCED. HE ALSO HAS A GENGAR AND ALSO WEARS A MASK AND HAS DARK GREEN EYES. ALISTER WAS INSPIRED BY LELOUCH VI BRITANNIA FROM CODE GEASS. HOW WOULD I KNOW WHAT GAMEFREAK WAS THINKING?? ) appears only once nearing the end of Book 1 to kill Aegis and that's the end of Book 1.

Book 2: Set in Kalos, three years after the first book, it follows Aegis' little brother, Alphonse who escaped from Almia during the crisis ( Team Phantom took down Ranger Union and kidnapped Aegis, killed their father and keeps their mother captive. Looks like Alister has a grudge against the Forrester Family ) Back to our Mareeps, Alphonse accompanied by his friends, a travelling Kimono Girl and the puppeteer who has a crush on her, he comes across a the organisation 'Blank.' Blank is a mafia-like organisation led by Cain Belleforge who apparently aims to take over the world. Plotwist linking Cain to the Relic Castle in Unova. World destruction is prevented. Alphonse finds out Aegis is not actually dead.

Book 3: Stuff happen. I haven't planned the start or I don't remember. Idk. But climax is Team Phantom is finally cornered by Alphonse & Co. as well as some surviving Rangers. Unfortunately, Alister managed to make all of his men escape. The Leader of Team Phantom commits suicide by triggering a hidden bomb in Team Phantom HQ. Aegis and his mother are freed. The Forrester family is reunited. With the absence of a corpse from the remains of building, Ranger Union tirelessly search for him for roughly 2 years without any luck.

In an epilogue set after a 5 year timeskip, Aegis meets up with a familiar man who turns out to be Team Phantom's No.1 Admin, Raven. It is then only that the reader would have find out about Aegis actually being Alister all along ( With the help of coloured contacts,incredible make-up skills, a mask, a cloak and good acting.)
