Taehyung's POV

I just wanted to know the truth. I still can't believe he killed his mate, doesn't he have feelings? After listening to him telling how he wanted to protect me, it made me happy but I can't feel it,
because the happiness caused by it is very less than the shock and grief caused this morning.

"What you saw and what you think are both two different things!!"
The Alpha said with a clam voice which for sure left me and Jimin in confusion.

"What do you mean by that?"
This time Jimin questioned him.

He sighed and then said,
"Listen so we planned to come to cafe in morning to inform you guys about it but then we stopped at a gas station and there I saw few people were following us."

"I easily recognised him, as he supply drugs to few people, so I know who sent him. Now we can't come to you and then I got an amazing idea. So the man you saw in morning was not my mate. He was my cousin."

"So,I planned out. All this to show those guys that he was my mate and I killed him and right now am  mateless."

Our expression was clear that we didn't understood it or else not believing what the Alpha said.

"He's telling truth."
Jin said, supporting him.

"How could I believe you guys?"
I questioned crossing my arms and slightly raising eyebrow.

"Yeah, I knew you would say that, wait-"
Saying so Jin pulled his phone out from his pocket and dialed a call to someone. After few rings the call was answered. It was a video call.

Then Jin hyung turned his phone towards me and I was shocked. The person who I thought was dead was alive and was waving at me.

"Are you happy?"
Jin hyung asked grinning and I was a little bit embarrassed.

"You know Jack, they both think you are dead."
The Alpha said to the man on call. The other person laughed and said, " hyung your acting was so good even I thought I was dead."

Then he again turned phone towards me,
"Hey don't worry, see I'm alive and unharmed.
It was just a little show, hope you enjoyed it."
The guy whose name might be Jack said probably teasing me. Now I was really embarrassed.

Soon the call was ended. Now Jimin spoke,
"What a dumb idea, coconut head".

"Yeah this so called dumb idea saved you midget."
Alpha replied and they both continued their bickering dragging Jin hyung between them.

"Hm-I..iam sorry, I said pretty mean words to you in morning. I'm really sorry!!"
I said feeling regretted to use those words.

"Ah! It's alright. You don't need to apologise. You don't know what was happening so you reacted that way."    He said with a soft smile.

"By the way what's your name?"
Jin hyung asked me, then I remembered they don't know my name.

"Ah, Myself Jimin his bestfriend and his name is Taehyung. We both ran the cafe together."
Jimine said with a big smile, he really likes to know new people.

"We didn't asked your name! We know you are a midget."   Jungkook started teasing him again.

"Taehyung",  he called me and my name sounds beautiful from his voice.

"Yeah"

"What does it mean- your name?"

I was hesitated for minute, then replied,
"All..all wishes will come true"

"Huh?"

"That's the meaning."

"Oh! All wishes will come true huh??"

I nodded slowly. Then he said something which shocked me-
"You are the wish...so getting you is equal to all wishes coming true!!"

"JUNGKOOK did you flirt?"
Jin hyung said teasingly with playful voice.

"Hyung! Seriously?"
Jungkook muttered but his face had a small smile.

"Are you hitting on MY BESTFRIEND?"
Jimin raised his eyebrow and asked highlighting my bestfriend.

Jungkook sighed and raised hands in defence telling
"No one's hitting on YOUR BESTFRIEND. I just told the truth."

I was watching them but deep down his words were running in my mind. Does he sees me as wish? Am I his wish?  Were questions coming up.

"Ahh! Jungkook can we go back? If you forgot it's my sleeping time. "        Jin hyung said, his voice already sleepy...

"Yes sleep, I couldn't sleep till now because of this crying man- "
Jimin said pointing at me but soon realised what he said and looked at me nervously.

"Crying?? Were you crying before we came?"
The Alpha asked voice instantly filled with concern.

I was shooking my head denying  it but Jimin being Jimin shouted- "yes."

"What happened?"  Jin hyung asked looking serious.

"Ah, he thought Jungkook had a mate-"

"Jungkook killed his mate.. i thought he killed his mate."        I said cutting Jimin in middle and shoot a glance at him. I'll kill him after they leave i thought.

"Really?"  Jungkook asked looking directly into my eyes....... Ya what's wrong why is he looking in eyes.
I can't lie if he do it. And I just nodded.

"That's fine... I have to tell something important to you both."   Jungkook said looking at me. Wait is he nervous.

Author's pov

"Go on..."
Jimin said.

With serious tone Jungkook Continued,
"You both are normal people. But iam not. It will be good if you guys don't get involved with me or in my matters. Even being seen with me can bring you troubles."

His words hung heavily in air. The atmosphere suddenly changed. Once shy and happy tae now felt sad. He doesn't know why but even the thought of not seeing the Alpha again alone made his heart crunch .

He and Jimin only nodded doesn't know how to respond to him. Jin can clearly see the shift in Taehyung's emotions.

"Then we'll leave now."
Jin said hesitantly.

"Yeahh.. we'll go."
Jungkook Continued moving towards window.

"You can go through front door."
Taehyung said his once deep voice was now unclear.

"Right!!"

Then the four went towards the front door of the apartment without sharing any words.

"Good night..."
Jin said smiling at both Jimin and Taehyung.

"Yeahh night."
They replied reciprocating his expressions.

Jungkook was first to exit. He said nothing just stared at Taehyung before leaving for the car.
