It was custom for newly mated to want to live on their own for a while. It was what humans will call as a honeymoon but werewolves were a lot worse. A male sex drive can be never-ending. They tend to keep their mates up all the way through the night. Maksim had held in his control for a very long time and now that Octavia was in his arms, the anticipation was building immensely and he couldn't wait to get her alone.

They could live in the pack house because it was big enough to house fifty families. However, Maksim was feeling an extreme possessiveness over Octavia.

Her cries of pleasure and moans of delight will only be for his ears only.

Maksim carried his mate over the threshold of their new home, just the way he imagined it. He built the cabin with his own two hands. A sense of nervousness sets into his body as he began to fret over many things.

What if she didn't like?

What if she wanted to live in the pack house instead?

Maksim could feel the anxiety wrapping around him like a fog. He had to bite the inside of his cheek to talk to quickly.

He had carefully picked the interior and exterior design after he had finish building the home. In addition, Maksim had made the counters, coffee table, and tables all by hand. He wanted this to be special for her and him.

The small A-frame cabin was built in a very simple way. It wouldn't house fifty families but it was enough for Maksim and her. From the front of the home you can tell it was a triangular shape home--dainty and small nonetheless completely comfy. A small little one foot high porch built at the doorway with two steps leading up.

Two large rectangle windows on the first floor were covered in thick cream colored curtains to give them privacy.

He designed the inside the cabin in a very simple manner. The home had a small living area with an open wood fireplace. The living space was near the three rectangle floor to ceiling windows that were adjacent to the front door. A small little staircase led up to an open second floor. The small space of the second floor was solely their bedroom. A king size floor mattress was placed by by an open window. On the opposite end were dressers that Maksim also built.

Maksim have always loved nature. Therefore, it would be crazy that he didn't want to wake up to it.  He has spent his entire life around it.  It was a huge open window that spanned the tip of the home all the way to the floor on the second floor.

The bathroom, kitchen, living area were all on the first floor. All the interior color choices were the colors of autumn when the leaves have begun to change color. It gave the place a very earthy feel.

Maksim let Octavia down once they were inside to close the door behind him. Her eyes immediately took in the place. She walked to the small living area where comfortable sofas sat.

Her fingers traces the tables and chairs to the counters admiring the intricate design and smoothness of the surfaces.

Maksim followed closely behind watching for a reaction but it was so hard when she didn't show even a glimpse of what she thought.

"Do you like it?" He asked. "I built mostly everything by myself. Anna and my mother picked most of the interior designs but passed everything through to me for approval."

When she didn't speak up right away, he assumed she didnt like it.

"We can change-"

"No! I love it." She turned to him. "It's beautiful. Did you really built all this by yourself?"

He nodded as he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. He looked back up from underneath his eyelashes as he gave her a sheepish grin.

"My father likes to build and I grew up learning along with him." He admitted.

"So you built this for when you meet your mate?" She asked.

He nodded again. "I wanted you to feel at home."

She looked at him with softened eyes. A smile appearing on her face before she walked over to wrap her arms around his waist and burying her face in his chest.

"I love it." She repeated again. "Thank you, Maksim. For trying to make this easier on me. I appreciate it very much. You are right. It makes me feel more at home."

He allowed his body to relax when he saw how lit up her eyes were. She was happy and it made him happy. He showed her around the whole place. She was amazed at how well he crafted the tables and counters. Everything was mostly nature which only made it all the more unique.

"It is amazing. I can't believe you built all this." She walked back to the small living area that had a mini fireplace.

"So, does that mean I am forgiven for taking forever to find you?" Maksim asked from behind her.

She shrugged indifferently. "Maybe."

He laughed but by the sound of his laughter he was much close to her now. She smoothly evaded his grasp and walked over to the kitchen. It was as if a mouse was playing with a cat--teasing it, getting close enough just to get away.

She walked up the stairs to the second level.

Finally, the were in the bedroom alone. The moon was shining brightly through the window into their bedroom. It was breathtakingly beautiful and Octavia was captivated.

"I don't think I will ever leave this place." She whispered in awe.

He chuckled. "I am okay with that."

She glances back at him and when she saw the playfulness and sneakiness in his eyes she gave him a shy smile before grabbing her luggage of clothes. Giving them enough distance she went through her clothes to find something decent to wear. Maksim continued to watch her like a very hungry wolf. Suddenly, she was feeling a little shy. A new home and a new life, it all seems a little unreal.

"I'm going to go shower." She mumbled before quickly grabbing her clothes almost in frantic manner and running downstairs to shower.

The bathroom was small but architectual with a cozy and rustic feel to it. Octavia was a little surprised that Maksim also installed a bathtub along with a shower. Octavia placed her clothes on the counter before stripping her clothes and entering the glass shower. It looked to be brand new, never been touched. It made her think if he ever used this cabin before.

She didnt bring any of her shampoo or body wash and so she used Maksim's. It smelled like him and brought a smile onto her face. His scent was distinctive--musky and rain but refreshing.

After bathing in the lake and sleeping on the ground while traveling to her new home it was a breath of fresh air to be under running water. She closed her eyes and allowed the warm water to run down her body.

She still hasn't marked Maksim yet and from Roza's excitement earlier and their conversation about a ceremony that will be done to formally to introduce her to the pack, it will surprise everyone if she didn't mark him. Anna and her will be planning the party details. Butterflies were fluttering in her stomach just thinking about all that was happening.

She was so deep in her thoughts, she didn't hear Maksim come in until those familiar sweet seducing tingles wrapped around her naked flesh. His taut chest pressed firmly against back.

He placed a soft kiss on her bare skin, right on her shoulder before moving higher to the crook of her neck. His hands skillfully caressing her stomach and going down to just above her most sensitive spot.

"Maksim..." She gasped softly not realizing how much she missed his touch until he was touching her skin on skin.

Everything inside of her came to life. His hands trailed up to cup her breasts almost as if he was saying, 'Mine!'.

"What are you doing?" She questioned breathlessly.

He chuckled and his chest rumbled against her back. His hands moved back to wrap possessively around her waist. His lips still unstoppable as he tasted what was his.

"Worshipping every single part of you." He murmured huskily.
