Letters To Home
Dear family,
I’m writing to you from a village in Belgium called Tillet. Belgium is a country just north of France and it’s beautiful. Daddy you would like it here. There are lots of farms. I’ve been keeping busy, mostly training and looking for Germans. Luckily we haven’t seen too many. But when we do get a chance to set for a spell, the locals treat us real nice. They’re not like white folks back home. They are always shocked when they find out I'm an omega. Very wide eyed and almost disgusted by my enlistment. I don't pay them no mind. In their country, omegas are nothing but fragile valuable stones. Saw a man lift his omega over a water puddle. Couldn't help but hide a smile. They treat them nothing like they do back home. Especially ones that look like me.
I’m mighty grateful for that. I get homesick, and they do what they can to make us feel right at home. Had a white alpha hold the door open for me. Me and the other guys got a good kick out of it.
By the time you get this, I will be long gone and onto a new place. I will write to you again from there.
With love,
Ronsel

Dear Family,
I have just gotten back from a long day of flying. Whoever said the B-25 plane is comfortable is a damn liar. Tell Amanda Leigh that it is mighty cold up in these clouds. She wouldn't want to come living up here like she said. We dropped a couple of payloads over the German lines. Blasted those Nazi's back to their maker. I don't know how many were caught but I will find out those numbers for Pappy.
Floating on a Naval ship somewhere in the Asia-Pacific where the only people to talk to are other male alphas and betas is stifling. Too many hot heads running around. At least, the nights are quiet. I can lay in my bunk and read those books Laura lent to me. Thank her kindly again for that. I will have to cut this message short. We are needed for a routine fly around the area.
With Care
Jamie
