Chapter 3:- First Meet

 Suhasini

I walked out of home. It was lonely and I needed some time alone and away from home, so I walked around and feeling bored decided to go into the forest that was 10 min walk from my home. The forest was in the middle of the border of Hatigar, Ranhat and Gortari.

I step cautiously into the forest, the moonlight filtering through the dense canopy above, casting eerie shadows on the mossy ground. The night air is cool and crisp, carrying the faint scent of pine and earth. I can hear the gentle rustling of leaves and the occasional hoot of an owl in the distance.

As I walk deeper into the forest, the trees seem to tower overhead, their branches reaching out like skeletal fingers. The only sound is the soft crunch of my footsteps on the forest floor, the darkness enveloping me like a comforting blanket. Despite the unfamiliarity of my surroundings, there is a sense of peace and serenity that washes over me, as if the forest itself is welcoming me into its ancient embrace.

In the eerie stillness of the night, the darkness was suddenly shattered by a flickering, dancing light. A young man stood alone in a secluded clearing, his figure illuminated by a mesmerizing blaze that seemed to dance and sway to an invisible melody.

The flames, brilliant orange and red licked eagerly at the night sky, casting long, twisting shadows that seemed to reach out and grab at the darkness around him. I watched in awestruck silence from my hidden vantage point, my eyes wide with wonder and disbelief. I had stumbled upon this enchanting scene by chance, drawn by the mysterious glow that beckoned to me from the depths of the forest. As I observed the man, I could sense a power emanating from him, a raw, untamed energy that crackled and sparked with each flick of his fingers.

Despite the late hour and the veil of secrecy that surrounded his abilities, the man seemed completely at ease in his element, his movements fluid and graceful as he wielded his fiery magic with precision and control. I held my breath, transfixed by the sight before me, as the male continued to weave his intricate tapestry of flames, each twist and turn a testament to his hidden talents. In that fleeting moment, as the night air filled with the scent of smoke and the crackle of burning embers, I felt a surge of something deep within me—a sense of connection, of understanding, that transcended words.

I leaned forward and stepped on a branch. I stood there dumbfounded. As the man quickly extinguished the last of the flames, leaving behind only a memory of his fiery display, I knew that I had witnessed something truly confidential, something that would stay with me long after the night had faded into dawn.

"Hmm...hmm..." a low hum filled the air, resonating with a strange energy. I hesitated, hidden in the shadows, watching the figure closely. His handsome features bathed in the warm glow of the night. His eyes gleamed with an intensity that sent a shiver down my spine.

"Who's there?" The man's voice sliced through the stillness, commanding and sharp. I swallowed hard, stepping into the light, and revealing myself. Mentally wondering how I got into a situation like this.

"A Suryan." The man's eyes narrowed, a flicker of relief crossing his face. "You should not be here, girl. This is no place for a wanderer."

I bit my lip, summoning my courage. "I-I know who you are. Ekaansh Aarush Suryavanshi."

Ekaansh's expression darkened, his voice dropping to a dangerous, low voice. "No doubt. What is your name, girl, and what gave it away?"

I trembled, the weight of my discovery pressing down on me. "I saw your eyes. Only a few people can have onyx eyes, which includes the members of the royal family and the priestesses of Ranhat. That tells me your true identity. Not to mention your powers. You are too young to be Maharaj Ravi and Rajkumar Varun is a betrayer and would never hide his power. So that led to the conclusion that you.." I let out a breath before continuing. "You are Maharaj Ekaansh Suryavanshi. I am truly sorry if I said something wrong. My name is Suhasini."

Ekaansh's jaw clenched, his gaze piercing mine. "You know too much, gir- Ms. Suhasini. You are playing a dangerous game. And I am not crowned -yet."

As the flames crackled, casting flickering shadows on his face, I knew the stakes had been raised. Our fates intertwined in a dangerous dance of secrets, binding us together in ways we could never have imagined.
