Sunday at the Shekhawat Mansion

Ajay Shekhawat gets shifted to the Shekhawat Mansion on the Sunday morning. The whole night Aryansh was busy in making the arrangements so that there should not be any issue in his father's treatment at the mansion.

Tiredness was the last thing in his mind and everything got settled by 10 AM. Later, he received the call from the office that few shareholders got to know about the CEO's accident and asked for an emergency board meeting.

Emergency board meetings are scheduled when an urgent matter cannot be on hold for more than 24 hours. There are many reasons for it and one of them is the CEO not in a position to carry the duties.

He clutches his hair in frustration and at the same time Junaid comes to his room to call him for the breakfast.

Junaid stayed last night at the Shekhawat mansion to support him and his family. Atharv is still young and elder Shekhawats are heartbroken due to the accident. He wished Piya was not at fault then she would have given emotional support to Aryansh.

What happened?, Junaid ask him.

Emergency Board Meeting, frustrated Aryansh replies

Do you want me to come with you? 

No, you stay with the family. I will go and deal with them

Are you sure? Why don't you take Rajesh uncle with you?

He is disturbed by the dad's accident so let him take a rest.

How did the accident happen?

Aryansh was bombarded with the questions from the shareholders and investors.

All are asking him the questions at the same time without giving him a chance to answer.

He addresses the whole room in a cold and loud voice which silences everyone.

Our CEO Mr. Ajay Shekhawat met with an unfortunate accident yesterday and he is out of the danger now but due to some reasons he would not be able to lead the company. He needs full medical rest for a minimum of 6 to 8 months so it would be better that we appoint an interim CEO.

The board of directors discussed among themselves and chose Aryansh as the interim CEO of the Shekhawat Group and later this news circulated to the media.

At night, Aryansh stares at his phone because every night he used to talk with Piya around this time. Tears fall from his eyes when he sees her call.

How much he wants to pick the call and shares his burden but will she understand? He sees her apology message but nothing matters now. He wants to forget everything and forgive her but will that be fair to his father?

Monday Morning

Piya reaches the office very early in the morning and greets Ram. She looks sick due to heavy crying and insufficient sleep. Her family told her to take sick leave but in all 6 months of being in a relationship with  Aryansh, she understood that he is very strict when it comes to work.

Now he's the CEO and his responsibilities will be double so she does not want to give him a reason to get angry as she works in the CEO office under Ram.

Apart from both the families and few police officials no one knew the reason for Ajay Shekhawat's accident.

Ram told her to have some coffee first and later get the copy of a file.

She gives him a thank you smile and goes to have the coffee. By the time, she comes back, Ram tells her that the new CEO came and he is waiting for the copy in his cabin. Piya insists Ram to go with the papers and he gives her an amusing smile seeing the scared face. He doesn't have any idea what storms hit their lives in the weekend.

Don't worry, our new CEO will not eat you alive, he teases her before leaving.

She weirdly sees Ram and thinks about what happened to this old man. Earlier, he had a hip to hip relationship with the CEO's cabin and today he's walking away as that cabin is his ex-girlfriend.

She knocks and enters on hearing his permission. Aryansh is busy reading a file and thought that Ram came to give him the copy so he gave his hand asking for the file.

Without making any sound Piya reluctantly keeps the file but while keeping it, her finger touches the back of his hand which sends a shiver down his spine.

Immediately he lifts the head and sees her. They both stare at each other, one with the pain and the other one with the guilt but their heart breaks on hearing each other's first word

They both remember their old moments. They tune with each other's presence in such a way that without him asking, she used to stand in his cabin and asked why he called her?

With a heavy heart, Piya leaves the cabin. This is the first time in the six months that she left the cabin without sharing a kiss with him. He never let her go without it.

Aryansh leans his head on the chair and thinks the same. He noticed her tired face, dry eyes and then came his father's comatose state. His family didn't let this news air in the media. The media only knows that his father is under treatment and he is the new CEO. 

He is still not able to come in terms of her being the reason for his father's accident. His heart and mind denies the accusation but she herself accepted then why he is in the dilemma.

Why can't he hate her and throw her out of the office? Will throwing her give him the peace? or torturing her will justify? Will he be able to live without seeing her? These questions are going around in his mind.

Last night, he thought about her and when she sent him a sorry message, he ignored it. He is confused and helpless in punishing her. He let her freely leave after raising the havoc in his life. Why can't he punish her?

That moment he realized that he cannot hurt her. Not because he likes her but he fell in love with her.

His feelings are such an extent where he is not believing in her confession. He asked Junaid to get the CCTV footage of the accident scene from the commissioner.

The whole day passed without any further interactions between Aryansh and Piya. Old habits are hard to change and the same thing happened with them because at 5 Aryansh opened his phone to send her a message that he cannot drop her home but later realized what he was doing before hitting the send button. He deleted the message and shut his phone.

On the other end, Piya was seeing her phone for his message notification but nothing came so she left for the home with a sad heart.

Why are you stammering fool, give me the CCTV footage

Sir, there is no footage and our men found that area CCTV was under maintenance

What about the other car? Did police arrest them?
