A blessing bestowed upon the werewolves by the moon goddess, for their resilience and suffering.

A gift, some say, a gift that the werewolves were too blessed to not accept.

While majority of the werewolf community accepted this gift, as time passed by and modernization took over, dissolving packs into settlements, some werewolves rejected this said gift in favour of love.

Rejection wasn't unheard of, yet it was frowned upon.

The wolf who rejected his better half was either banished from the werewolf temples, or fully cut off from the werewolf community.

For a powerful family like the Kim's and Jeon's, soulmates were a sacred bond, one the members were inclined to accept.

Yet fate had other plans.
