The night sky looked almost enchanting, millions of stars twinkling so brightly, almost serene with no clouds in sight, and somehow the stars made the moon pale in comparison.

Yet, the only stars that Taehyung was interested in looking at were Jungkook's eyes.

Jungkook was staring at the night sky in wonder, pretty doe eyes sparkling and so so magical, that Taehyung couldn't help but wonder just how much time the moon goddess had spent in sculpturing this fine specimen of a human being that was his mate.

Jungkook was simply put, exquisite. Any other word would be insulting his beauty, for Jungkook in this moment, was something out of a fairytale that Taehyung had the pleasure of seeing.

Jungkook couldn't help but admire the beautiful sky, one that was looked so peaceful and pretty, with so many stars twinkling ever so brightly, coloring the dark sky with its light.

He will admit he wasn't expecting Taehyung to actually prepare a decent date, and to be honest, his mate had surprised him today.

This date, their first date is almost magical. And to top it off, this date was almost perfect to what Jungkook had described in his first published book.

When Taehyung had knocked on the door of their house, Jungkook wasn't expecting to be presented with a bouquet of daisies and a warm kiss on the cheek.

Taehyung had been the perfect gentleman, opening the door of the car for Jungkook and even asking to hold his hand.

Taehyung had bought Jungkook to the han river, where a table was set up, with a bottle of wine and amazing aromatic food.

The ground was lit up with small candle like lights, giving the place a little brightness, and there were flickering lights surrounding the area above, hanging from the poles. The place was sort of empty apart from them , though Jungkook had noticed a few guards a little further from their location, as if guarding the area from other people.

The food was simple yet hearty, a delicious dish of Japchae, a few side dishes and Sushi, with chocolate cake for dessert.

After dinner, Taehyung took Jungkook's hands for a small walk, which is why right now, Jungkook was busy staring at the sky while Taehyung was busy staring at Jungkook.

It hadn't been awkward at all, with both the mates making an effort to get to know each other better.

"It's such a beautiful night", Jungkook mumbled, entranced by the stars that shined so bright.

"Hmm, it is", Taehyung replied absent-mindedly, not even looking at the stars.

"Taehyung, can I ask you something?", Jungkook stated, turning to look at his mate who was already staring at him, making Jungkook feel all flustered.

"Yeah, sure baby"

Jungkook wasn't really sure how to word his question but nonetheless continued, "I really enjoyed the date but I couldn't help and notice how it was similar to my book. Did you.."

Taehyung let out an embarrassed laugh, cutting Jungkook's sentence off.

"Kinda hoped you wouldn't catch on that. I may have taken inspiration from your book cause I wasn't sure what your prefect date idea was. I didn't..  I didn't want to fuck it up by disappointing you", Taehyung couldn't help the way his face heated up, red coating his cheeks and nose.

Jungkook bit back a smile, kinda enjoying this blushing and adorable mess that his mate was right now.

"I love it. Thank you for planning all this."

Taehyung let out a relieved smile, before taking a hesitant step towards his mate,

"Baby, can I.. uh.. can I hold you ? For a few seconds?"

Jungkook looked surprised, definitely not expecting Taehyung to ask that but then again, how can he refuse after all the effort that Taehyung had put in planning the date.

"Sure"

Taehyung gingerly placed his arms around his mate, enclosing the warm body into his, just holding Jungkook close.

Jungkook's head rested in Taehyung's neck, both breathing calmly, and both just enjoying the warmth and comfort that hug provided.

It wasn't for a few seconds. They don't know how long they stood there, just holding onto each other until it started to get a little chilly and Taehyung suggested heading back home.

Once they reached home, Taehyung dropped Jungkook to his room (previously Taehyung's room) and nervously said, "uh.. I really enjoy today with you baby and I'm hoping you'll let me take you on a second date soon?"

Jungkook let out a small smile, heart warming with joy.

"I'll love that Taehyung."

Taehyung grinned, before leaning closer to peck Jungkook's forehead warmly.

"Goodnight baby. Sleep tight"

Jungkook mumbled a small "goodnight", cheeks blushing red as Taehyung chuckled deeply, turning around to walk to his new room.

Jungkook closed the door, feeling his heart beat so wildly as his omega kept jumping in his head.

"Calm down jk. It was just a date. Why are you so hyper?", Jungkook scolded his wolf, whose name was JK.

"Shut up!it was a date with mate. WITH MATE! He likes us human", Jk replied with enthusiasm, almost squealing.

"Yeah yeah. But remember, we can't fully trust him because of one date JK. So don't get your hopes all high okay ? I don't want you to get your heart broken again"

"Yeah human. I understand", JK's excitement died down at Jungkook's words, because the omega knew it was true.

This was just a trial run. Who knows if the alpha is actually being sincere. While Taehyung's wolf was heads over heals for the omega, the human side of Taehyung was not that... well.. endeared.

So it was hard to trust the Alpha fully.

Jungkook's omega understood his human's apprehension, understanding that Jungkook was just scared of getting hurt again.

On the other side of the house, Taehyung just finished showering, getting into his bed with a giddy smile on his face.

He couldn't believe he had such an amazing time with his mate, and that he had not messed it up.

He was so scared of fucking things up, because let's be honest, Taehyung has a tendency to fuck things up, especially when it involved Jungkook.

But this time, he had done something right. And the thought itself made him feel giddy.

He loved seeing that happy smile on the omega's face. He would do anything to keep that smile permanently on Jungkook's face.

And damn, Taehyung couldn't get those damn doe eyes out of his mind. Jungkook's eyes were just so freaking pretty. So beautiful.

It was like the younger held an entire galaxy in his eyes. So sparkly and so damn magical.

Taehyung decided then and there, while lying in his bed, that his favourite thing in the world was now his mate's beautiful eyes.

Jungkook's magical and beautiful starry doe shaped eyes.

Eyes that were a thousand times prettier than any night sky.

Sorry for the late update. My husband took me to visit his cousins so was kinda caught up in that as we stayed the night there.

Also for reference, this is the how the date sorta looked (minus the excessive candles and sand) , just imagine it to be near the han river.
